UHS sent me an email quote for $129 air duct cleaning stating "unlimited ducts, inspection, deodorizer, dryer vent inspection" none of which i received. No inspections, deodorizer, and only one vent "cleaned" with 5 minutes of a vacuum. The tech was in my home less than 30 min, half of which he spent trying to haggle and upcharge me to $999. I complained and was told by the manager, Eli, I could receive my money back if I removed my bad review. Makes sense why all the reviews are good ones. There should not be conditions on refunding money for a service not received. False advertising was at play. After calling several times on a Friday and Saturday right after my service, with no response, they tried to claim calling me back on Monday as they were "out all weekend". No one called me on Monday, or Tuesday, in fact no one called until Thursday. 24/7 service but gone all weekend? Interesting. I do not want others to be taken advantage of, or fall victim to false advertising. I was told by the manager at first that I didnt understand the ad or the service I was receiving so I asked him to explain the meaning of "unlimited ducts & inspection" and when he did, i informed him I received none of that and i asked if my tech would be able to produce the inspection then, which i know he cant because I was here the whole time and he didn't do one. The manager admitted I was right and didnt receive the service but still stood by the condition of no refund unless I removed the review. I was told my reviews were "too harsh" and the company was "undeserving" of them. But I didnt even have UHS in my home, they sent a sub contractor from another company which is also a huge safety concern since I know nothing about them and wasnt doing business with them. You think the review is harsh? How about how I have been treated through this whole experience as a customer? I now have to pay someone else to come perform the services and being refused a refund. I am leaving up my review since its my right and to spare others from this kind of service and treatment. Illegal business practices at play here, BBB has been consulted, probably an attorney next, as consumers have rights in the state of Arizona, beware!!
