I reached out to 4 different companies/landscapers in order to fix/upgrade my entire front and backyard after purchasing my dream home. The quote they gave me was among the cheapest of the group and William seemed much more knowledgeable than all the other companies as well. They set everything up exactly as discussed and his team were fantastic, very clear, flexible, transparent on cost (no upselling). To top it off, William and Thomas are extremely kind, texted often and made sure to come back multiple times to address all my questions and help make sure I knew how the sprinkler and lighting system was programed.
Overall pleasantly surprised and better than I expected. They took care of everything and worked very efficiently but carefully. I am sure they will take good care of you regardless of your needs!

It was just brought to my attention that my google review no longer exists, so I'm posting again with an update.

We hired Green Ease to do our landscaping project at a little over $17k. Worst. Decision. Of. The. Century.
Cracks in the flagstone, mortar, there is weed barrier fabric missing and invasive plants that were to be removed are growing back. Incorrect size of rock was put down around the walkway but Will says his "notes" say otherwise; therefore I'm wrong and he's right. Mortar has washed away around some of the flagstones creating tripping hazards. Areas of sod died due to lack of coordinating with irrigation plan.
One thing I'm relieved of is that we didn't commit to Green Ease for the second phase of our project which was having a pergola built and it just so happens that it is being installed as I type this. What a difference in professionalism with the owner and crew of this business and it is looking incredible. It will be nice to be able to leave a positive review after this one.
Needless to say, I'll never recommend Green Ease.
*Update*
Less than a year after the stellar installation by Green Ease, this is just a little peek into what we have now. We've already hired another contractor to demo the entire patio and walkway to redo it professionally. As you can see, it looks like a kindergarten class came in to do this project. Wanna come and take a look at this mess if you're considering hiring them? Come on over. This atrocity will be here for another two weeks.
And just to add - the irrigation company he uses is his own brother. We've had to do $1500 in repairs to that mess so far. So, he's just as incompetent as his brother. If you have any more questions about our experience, feel free to message me.

Jesse with Green Ease did a fabulous job on my front yard! Her design and ideas were perfect for what we wanted. She kept in touch with us the entire way. Their workers were professional and did a great job! Highly recommend!

William did an excellent job on my back patio project. I had a very high-level idea of what I wanted, but he developed the details and what he built me exceeded my expectations. He expanded my patio with flagstone and he built a beautiful pergola to extend the shade. Now we have so much more room, and it further enhances my backyard.

He communicated with me regularly from the time that we signed the contract, and through the work, which was completed on time and very quickly. He was very responsive with all communications, and he ensured that I was fully satisfied with the final product.

When I look back at what made our family choose Green Ease Landscapes & Design, three things stood out: design expertise, clear and timely communication, and experience to back a vision for what our home could be. That vision has been further realized with the help of Green Ease. The following is a pretty detailed review of our positive experience with Green Ease, owner William P, and his crew. In short: You’re going to get a solid service with them, so feel confident trusting them for your landscaping needs.

Our initial conversations began after I found Green Ease online and reviewed their mix of hardscaping, landscaping, and xeriscaping pictures and services. We were interested in xeriscaping from a water conservation prospective, and because we knew that the amount of shading in our lot just wouldn’t make growing grass sustainable. We also knew that no matter what aesthetic we went with, it was critical to divert water in a way that lessened the chance of further foundation damage and swamp-like conditions in our yard. Those were our priorities, and everything else would be nice-to-haves.

Green Ease was far away from us and their typical service area, but we took a chance and gave them a call. Owner William P. agreed to meet with us. He surveyed the property and made several recommendations; the core of which involved creating a retaining wall in the front of the home, installing drainage in the back yard, and utilizing a combination of xeriscaping and turf to uplift the overall look of the home. He took the time to ask my parents what they would like and how they would use the space, and then suggested we consider expanding the patio a bit so that there would be more room in the backyard to sit and enjoy the outdoors. After taking a few measurements, he provided a rough estimate of his work right then and there.

Once we agreed to move forward, William came out and we discussed the scope of work in a second detailed walk-through, and reviewed expectations and timelines. When work was set to begin, we visited with him to pick out hardscaping materials, and a selection of plants that would fit into our xeriscaped design. William made recommendations; many of which we went with, but we also felt very comfortable choosing another option if we would’ve had a different design element we wanted to achieve.

When we met the crew, we knew we were in good hands. Every one of the crew members treated my folks with a great deal of respect. We hope that they left feeling proud of the work they did, because they did a damn good job. We allowed for a good deal of crew-based decision-making simply because of our busy schedule, and we were happy with all of the decisions they made. I especially want to shout out the fact that there were small but meaningful accommodations made in the design that made it safer and easier for my folks, who are up in their years, to navigate. I’m not sure that level of detail and consideration would’ve happened with another crew or another company.

In the end, what we discussed during our first consult with Green Ease was ultimately what we received as a final product. There were no major surprises that you sometimes get from vision to execution. The front yard and its retaining wall and xeriscaped stone and plants are amazing, the back yard’s turf and flagstone patio are beautiful, and the garden area that allows for native plants to flourish are all so visually appealing.

We’re incredibly grateful to William and the entire crew for the superb work they completed on our home. We realize this project put Green Ease and its crew out of their way more than usual, but we’re hoping that the many neighbors who have walked by and asked us who we chose to do the work we did will allow for this small business to flourish and expand.

Had them renovate my front and back yard. They were very knowledgeable and receptive to any feedback i had and helped me through the process of what materials and plants I would like for my yard. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping job you may have. If I need anything other landscaping, this is the team I will call!

We are extremely pleased with the landscaping work recently completed for us by Green Ease. We hired Green Ease to repair all of the irrigation and lawn damage from building a pool while also adding seven different stone flower/mulch beds around our house and pool at the same time. William worked with us from the beginning to design the flower beds, plants, sod, and irrigation required to return our back yard to a usable state. He is extremely knowledgeable about landscaping and plants which work well in our area and checked back with us throughout the project to ensure we were happy with the results. The entire team was professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Green Ease for both small and large/complex landscaping projects.

Jesse initially seemed helpful while choosing some trees, but when it came time to deliver and plant things fell apart. We were on the line between a few different trees. We had completed an invoice for the trees we wanted but still were riding the fence. The day of shipment Jesse called and needed an answer right away on what we wanted. I was conferring with my spouse when she made the decision of what to send. One was on the invoice the other was not, so I'm not sure how she made that decision. Since we weren't dead set on one or the other I didn't push the matter. When I mentioned how the live oak was planted crooked she said they were too busy to make it right and said I should go to Amazon to get something to straighten it. Now despite following their instructions for watering one of the trees looks like it won't make it and Jesse won't return my calls or emails.

I'm very disappointed and how this played out.

I am particular about doing my own homeowner projects. So due to the march of time, I am not really able to do a project of this magnitude. Stone work on three sides of the house, large stone patio in the back, matching walkways on side, stone feature of my liking in front ( they nailed it) rock xeriscape on one side, with essentially a complete new sprinkler system all around. Many, many new plants with a huge general cleanup of old and tired past landscape projects. What could go wrong? Well, nothing went wrong ! This company and all employees answered all questions and did a spectacular and honest job. I have some more ideas so I will contact William and Green Ease without hesitation in the future.

I have had Green Ease Landscape & Design work on multiple projects. They have been great to do business with. Everything comes out exactly as designed or tweaked to cater to your personal vision. They are not only honest and reliable, but absolutely meticulous in craftsmanship and quality. I 100% recommend them for any landscaping projects or needs.

William and his team did a great job with our front and backyard. We are enjoying our new firepit and walkways. The team showed on schedule and completed their work on schedule. We did have a few hiccups with the sprinkler lines but they immediately came out to resolve when the issues were found. I was disappointed with no warranty being given for our backyard bamboo trees but as I was told this is not the norm in Texas; so it goes. I would definitely recommend this company if you have a landscaping project. They will show up and do the work with high quality.

I had such a great experience with this landscaping company! The owners and crew were absolutely wonderful to work with—friendly, professional, and hardworking. They did an amazing job and made the whole process so easy from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, keeping me updated every step of the way. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

We waited 2 years to decide just what to do with our new home's landscaping, so it was a big deal to us when we finally made the plunge. Willian and team made sure to make us feel confident and comfortable with every step along the way. We were able to extend our patio, replace all the builder grade plants in the front and line our fence with privacy trees in the back. Green Ease did a fabulous job bringing together our backyard after our pool installation. It was a muddy mess and within a few days they transformed it into a lovely spot we look forward to enjoying for years to come. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

William and his crew did a great job. They took my entire yard, beds, bushes, trees, grease, patio and concrete, and we started over. We had grass areas along with xeriscaping where grass wasn’t feasible. We put in a new 20x20 flagstone patio with steps, new flagstone bed and tree rings, and a ton of plants and some nice trees. Chris, the project manager, the whole team was awesome. They coordinated and helped with the electrician and lighting guys. They asked tons of questions before they made unchangeable decisions, they were so accommodating. I couldn’t be more pleased, but I know I will be when everything blooms. Ask me in a year for better pics. These pics are from the last few days of work, so there are some unfinished edges that are fixed but not photographed.

As you can see from the before pics, our landscape was an utter disaster and an eye-sore. We decided to do a complete re-landscape (xeriscape) of the entire property. I knew I wanted to replace what used to be grass with synthetic turf, and the rest of the property with low-maintenance materials, i.e., stone, gravel, drought-tolerant plants, etc. We also decided that we wanted a synthetic putting green.

I took bids from about ten contractors. Most required a few days to get back to me, if I heard back from them at all. William Paquette (owner of Green Ease) on the other hand, gave me a competitive quote in about five minutes. After submitting the quote, he followed up promptly the next day and for a couple of days thereafter to answer any questions or concerns we might have. I appreciated that he was proactive and eager to take on the project, and so I decided to go with his company.

At the start of the project, we met with William at the nursery and at the building materials supplier to pick out the plants, stone, turf, etc. for the project. He has a lot of experience and knowledge of plants and of the various materials we were considering, and he gave us excellent information and feedback as to which plants would thrive given the amount of sun and shade on our property, and which materials would go well together.

He started the project promptly on the day that he promised. He has an excellent, highly-experienced crew, who were on-site around 8am each day, and worked extremely hard until quitting time. The entire project took exactly three weeks from start to finish. As you can see, the results speak for themselves. All facets of the installation are of the highest quality, including all of the masonry work that was done. William was flexible during the project and willing to make any changes or add-ons as requested, and he was also responsive to any concerns. His follow up at the conclusion of the project was also appreciated.

Our entire property has been completely transformed into a beautiful and functional space for entertaining, hanging out, or just walking around and taking it all in--which I have been doing a lot of:-) We are extremely pleased and excited about how our place now looks, and we give Green Ease our highest recommendation for anyone looking to improve the looks and functionality of their property.
