I’ve worked with Austin Shuler at Austins Best landscaping for the better part of a decade. Now my properties always look better upon his departure. His service is next level. His communication is on point and his staff is professional and courteous. I will continue to use him in the future to service many more of my multifamily properties From residential landscaping to commercial projects to large tree jobs and everything in between.

We’ve known Austin since the start of his company. Austin’s Best has grown into a premiere lawn and landscaping company of Central Texas. He continually invests into his company and has the finest equipment available. We’ve worked with them on multiple projects over the last several years and we will continue to use them and recommend them to our clients and friends.

I own a dog daycare and dogs destroyed my play yards over the years. These guys did a great job properly leveling my yard and laying sod as well as repairing a damaged sprinkler system. Highly recommend my yards look great!

We would give this company a million gold stars if we could! We had the absolute best experience with them. From meeting with Nikk to do our consult and estimate, to watching the team do the amazing work…and the beautiful end result — Southern Landscape went above and beyond for us. I look forward to using their services for years to come. We had our back yard completed gutted and flower beds replaced with stone, new trees and plants, a French drain, irrigation and gutter enhancements, and new sod (which is still taking root in the picture attached, so don’t judge the grass just yet). They work hard and fast, but they are perfectionists..and they clean up so well at the end of each day. They even washed our back patio for us.

Nikk and his crew were amazing to work with! I have worked with Nikk before and knew we would hire his crew for our backyard renovation, and when we received the quote for the job it was a no-brainer. Nikk had excellent recommendations for features we hadn’t considered, and made sure the job was perfectly functional to how we wanted to use it. They even replaced a whole fence, which I didn’t realize landscaping crews could do. This project took only 2.5 days, and the team was a joy to have around. Extremely kind folks, and they were so respectful of our home - making sure they kept the yard cleaned up overnight and letting us know when they were leaving so we could lock up. We will hire Southern Love Landscaping for any yard project we have in the future, and will continue to refer all our friends to them. This project has already added so much joy to our home!

Loved, loved working with this company for our backyard project! Communication was great. Very professional. Answered our million questions and prioritized our concerns in the design and install. Upfront about costs and anything we wanted to add. Everyone on the whole crew were super kind and professional. Highly recommend this company.

If you’re reading this, it’s highly likely you are looking at a large project. Southern Love recently completed a back yard overhaul for me. Included in the project was an irrigation redesign/installation, building a large Trex deck, creating a gravel/paving stone pathway with weed barrier and 1/4” retaining border, building/welding steel planter boxes, and a full sod installation. They remediated several smaller issues from a previous contractor, too!
Nikk, Raul, and the whole crew were punctual, professional, thorough, and respectful. Nikk’s bid landed right in the middle of estimates I received, but the quality of the work is absolutely first rate and you can rest assured that things will be done correctly the first time!
I would not hesitate to hire them should any future needs arise, and cannot recommend them highly enough!!

We needed a lot of work done at our place, from grass to leveled rocks, legitimately you name it. I had the best experience you could ask for from basic help understanding what we were doing to more complex add ons and understanding plants in an ecosystem like Austin. Loved working with Jason and the entire team. We have everything I wanted and I am so thrilled with the results.

After the drought in 2023 and the inability to water in Georgetown, our lawn died. Empty patches, weeds, etc. HOA got on our case, so I started looking for quotes for redoing our front yard. Southern Love was well reviewed and looked promising. Out of the 3 quote we got, they were in the middle in terms of pricing, but what sold me was Nikk's conversation with me when he came onsite. I asked questions, he gave me thoughtful answers and options while not rushing me in the slightest. Nikk was communicative and available through the process, kept me informed of the minor delays and availability of certain plants I wanted.

Work done included ripping up old grass and mulch, steel edging, weed barrier, rock, adding enriched top soil and resodding with zoysia.

His crew was very polite and listened as well. Overall very professional experience. The outcome looks great and we will definitely be back

Southern Love landscaping did an incredible job installing artificial turf in our front and back yard. They showed up at 8am every day and worked tirelessly until the job was done The communication with Nikk was great; they were incredibly accommodating with additions and changes we wanted to make during the process and we were thrilled with the final result.

Where do I even begin? Well,let me save you some time: stop searching for a landscape company cause this is it! From top to bottom, Southern Love Landscaping and Design are excellent! I cannot stress how hard it is to find such a reliable company but these guys exceed my expectations and then some.

I had a design and plans in mind and on hand and spent many many hours calling, making appointments, and emailing, only to be ghosted by countless companies.

I was about to give up, until Nikk and his team came along.

Right off the bat, Nikk was quick to respond, came out for an initial consultation on time, spent time walking through the property and answering every single one of our questions AND gave us some great ideas and alternatives to the design as well.

They sent an estimate in a timely manner that outlined the specifics of the project, and when we changed our minds, resent the estimate with the updated price, (which was very reasonable). Nikk was never rude or condescending or annoyed as we mulled ideas and in some cases, brainstormed while he was there. We got the side yard done to prep for a shed as well as cleaned up the side path that was muddy and flooded. Next we're prepping for a small pool and expanding the patio. They were even down with us doing our design in phases.

We scheduled for about a few weeks out, and during that time, Nikk kept us in the loop when it came to timing and was always honest with us when weather delayed the job before us. we were more than willing to be flexible.

On the day our project was to begin, the crew showed up on time, happy and ready to work. They walked through the entire job with us before beginning, marked and triple checked the plans, answering all my questions and clarifying everything. They were so friendly and funny and they all communicated so well with us. They got to work right away and were very quick and efficient. Every time we came outside, they smiled and waved and said hello. They asked clarifying questions along the way, and they were extremely respectful of our yard and belongings. They tidied up before they left each evening too. We super considered it since we had pups who would use the yard while they weren't there. It was such a pleasure talking to and working with them!

When the job was finished, they cleaned our walkways, driveway, and backyard and stacked extra materials nicely.

We're half way through our plans and it's an absolute delight to see the progress so far. We've been able to start our garden and fix up our front and I just smile every time we go to the garden or sit outside.

Southern Love built us a retaining wall that panned the entire yard front with pavers, creating a beautiful entryway. Wow! The entire journey with the team at Southern Love Landscaping & Design has been exceptional. The right side of our driveway needed an extra parking space, and a future garden bed for some screening plants to be installed in October.
The design and communication from Nic was spot on. He worked with us to figure out something that would fit our budget and got us right into the team’s schedule. Everything moved along smoothly and even before our target start date he was communicating with us.
Once the amazing team showed up, every day just incredible change happened. Within the week everything was completed and we are so thrilled with the results.

I would highly recommend Nikk and his team. I'm very happy with the beautiful outcome of my driveway and fence project. There are large tree roots that cracked the driveway and Feb. storm took out pieces of old cedar fence. Nikk was always quick to respond to text and email from the bidding process through to completion. He also came up with a much better solution than the solid concrete that was originally discussed based on our concern for the very large oak tree roots. He and his team were on time, courteous and efficient. The project started and finished as planned.
