They have gorgeous plants! I bought a few plants for my shaded porch, which I often struggle to find. I'm also working on building a herb garden so I was disappointed when I didn't find a variety of herb plants, they only had basil, sage and rosemary when I visited. Customer service was ok, the employees are kind, but most of them are clueless if you ask them questions about plants.

I recently had a disappointing experience with this flower nursery. I explained to the staff that I needed flowers that could survive outside, hang, and were easy to maintain. Despite being assured that the flowers I purchased met these criteria, they all died within 24 hours of bringing them home.

When I contacted the shop to request a refund or replacement, I was informed that they do not offer either. I asked to speak with the owner, and was told that they would call me back, but they never did. This lack of customer service and support is unacceptable.

As a result, I cannot recommend this flower nursery to others. They do not prioritize customer satisfaction or product quality, and their refusal to stand behind their products is disappointing. If you are considering purchasing from this establishment, I urge you to exercise caution and consider other options.

As consumers, we deserve better than to be taken advantage of by businesses that do not uphold basic standards of transparency and honesty. I hope that my review serves as a warning to others and encourages the flower nursery to improve their practices in the future.

I really want to like this shop because they have very nice selections, but the women at the outdoor checkouts are rude and unhelpful. It’s gotten worse the last two times I’ve visited. For example, imagine you work there and you’re sitting at the checkout, you’re the first person people see as they walk in, you don’t say hi or acknowledge guests as they walk in because you’re on your phone or reading a magazine and when the guest says hello, you ignore them. It’s weird. Another time I asked for help because all the stacks of soil in the store were for potting, I asked where the garden soil was, she points and says over there. I go “over there” still all potting soil. Can’t find it. She’s absolutely zero help. Didn’t even try to help. Do better. Be nice. Also, the plant I bought started to die the very next day. Leaves falling off.

My favorite neighborhood nursery. They have beautiful landscape plants, seasonal yard decor, seeds, pots, hanging baskets, bulbs, trees, shrubs, water devices, bedding material and thermal plant covers. Everything is high quality and the staff very helpful. They get this neighborhood Realtor’s thumbs up!

I am in love with each house plant I’ve purchased, and love browsing the selection. I’m pretty sure the last time I stopped in it was 15 minutes before closing on a weekday, and I was able to snatch up the beauties I wanted, along with pots and saucers. Polite staff. Great selection. Able to park easily each visit.

They are always in stock for the most popular annuals to plant depending on the season. They also continuously have a variety of native perennials. The staff is incredibly kind and patient. I see a lot of board older people with too much money and not enough sense shopping there and the staff's ability to handle them and help them navigate what to buy always amazes me.

I have been wanting to visit this nursery for a while now and finally did today. I was on a mission to find a low maintenance plant for my apartment balcony. Good selection of houseplants and everything else garden wise. They also had very nice modern looking pots for the plants. I do not know squat about plants and I guess it showed because two different workers came up to me and asked if I needed any help finding anything. So, customer service was great and I appreciate them taking the time. Also, I needed a small cactus for my office and they had a huge section of nothing but cacti of all sorts and sizes. Support your local nurseries!

My favorite nursery! My fiancé does landscaping and always loves to come shop at shoal creek. The staff are wonderfully kind and knowledgeable and their selection is plentiful. It is so nice to visit Shoal Creek on a nice day.

One of the best stores in Austin! Big fan. <3
Everyone is so nice and helpful, and I REALLY LOVE the resident kitty cat. Today, I picked up my bulbs to plant for spring, and that sweet cat stopped by for a few pets.
Its such a calming and beautiful store and I feel so much gratitude for it. Their plants have been mostly great in my experience over the years. I have a culinary rosemary plant from here that has really flourished and I have confidence it may live for 20 years even though our summers are horrendous and I gather from it at least once or twice a week. Looking forward to coming back for some more edible plant starts in the spring.

My favorite! I think this is the best nursery in Austin. It consistently has the plants I want most. The pots are reasonably priced. They're always very nice and helpful. It's nice to see the owner there; he's always so friendly and helpful and has a real love for what he does.

This place has a bit of everything. The vibe here is very nice, too.

The prices are very fair and not expensive like a big company.

They have a cat that lives and visits here too a lot.

It smells so fresh, I haven't smelt air this fresh ever before. It just smells good, too.

They have all kinds of seeds, they have big and small plants, flowers, and vegetables too.

They have trees too, small and medium.

Pots, they have all kinds of pots, style, and ceramic.

    They have cool rocks, too.

They sell soil, small and big.

They also have cool statues you can take photos with.

I recommend to stop buy to just experience the place. Maybe even buying a small plant as a souvenir.

My new favorite nursery! We visited for the first time this past weekend and I’m kicking myself for never coming here before. They have a great selection of garden plants, flowers, shrubs, and their prices are very reasonable - on par with, and some less than, the big box places. I was looking for one particular plant - Pride of Barbados and the employee I asked went above and beyond trying to find out when they would have more in stock. Highly recommend!

Really is a hit or miss. Bought this $12 succulent today and only two of the five stalks had AT LEAST one root. Their professional supplies seem good but I have had a few "hobbiest" plants die much quicker than I should have been able to kill them.

Vincent Landscapes applies a deep knowledge of the central Texas environment and a high attention to detail to their projects. We've worked with them on two occasions, and are extremely satisfied with the results and consistency of their work. Additionally, the team that we've worked with is very friendly and respectful. We highly recommend VLI.

These folks are consummate professionals. Their technical expertise is extensive including lighting spectra, intensity, etc. Before we started my project, I had a lot of questions and some pretty clear goals. They could easily and clearly answer all of my questions and listened carefully to what I was seeking.

Their aesthetic sense is also remarkable, artistic really. Via emailed pictures, one of my out of state friends who saw their work on some beautiful legacy live oaks in my front yard and put it this way, “Your lightscaper does beautiful work. He also has a beautiful scene to light ... (wife’s name) and I both exclaimed at the way the light caresses the sculptures of the trees and the other plants.”

These folks really do aim to satisfy all of your goals. They also keep you in the loop, doing what they say they will do when they say they will do it. You’re never left wondering, and even if you’re satisfied with the results, but they see ways of improving, they will do that, too, in consultation of course. Indeed, they did just that on one aspect of my lighting project.

I have nothing but high praise for them and their work.

Vincent Landscapes designed and built our outdoor living area last year. We added onto our patio and built a pergola, along with replacing our grass with a granite gravel walkway with limestone steps and an awesome fire pit. Everything is surrounded by landscaping and retaining wall. Turned our unused space into an oasis. We couldn't be more pleases. Kellan was super attentive to all of the details. He even handles everything associated with getting permits from both the city and our hoa. The project was very stress free for us and they did a fantastic job.

From project start to finish and with ongoing maintenance Vincent Landscapes has been nothing less than outstanding. I called upon the firm to build a water feature, including the surrounding landscape at my home. I had a vague concept of what I wanted and Kellan along with his team brought it to life. Communication throughout the process was far better than any contractor I've ever used. I was completely informed of progress and educated on maintenance of the plants and beautiful corten steel fountain, with a fire feature, that was installed. Since then I've had countless hours of enjoyment and compliments. The follow-up since installation roughly 1.5 yrs ago has been optimal. Any questions I have are answered immediately with enthusiasm. The firm returns a couple of times a year to make sure all is functioning properly and has replaced a couple of plants that didn't develop as we'd hoped. What a great partner. I highly recommend Kellan and Vincent Landscapes.
