Couldn’t recommend the team over at Urban Oasis more - they were great from the design stage to the planning, build and completion. We will get a lot more use out of our backyard now thanks to them, and couldn’t be happier with how their work turned out.

Urban Oasis did a phenomenal job on my two backyard pergolas. After a prior faulty landscaping job I was a bit nervous. However, Carter provided exceptional communication breaking down the details, cost and process of the project. When the project started the workers showed up on time every morning and were very productive. Whole job was completed in less than a week and turned out beautiful. Such a professional company that provides quality work and service. So grateful and happy I went with them.

Working with Urban Oasis was such a great experience and we’re thrilled with how the project turned out. Construction can be a pain, but UO was perfectly prepared to take on the challenge.

Urban Oasis transformed my yard from a desolate wasteland to a beautiful outdoor living space! Carter responded quickly to my initial inquiry, came over for a site walkthrough and promptly sent me a proposal that met my budget. He listened to what I envisioned and offered sound suggestions about how to best carry out those ideas. Josh, Noah and David carefully oversaw the work from start to finish and Matt helped me select plants that suited the aesthetic look I was going for. Everyone, including their work crew, was well-trained, polite and professional. I couldn't be more pleased. Another huge plus: Now that my ground cover is turf, gravel and pavers — no more grass means no more muddy puppy paws tracking through the house when it rains!

I just finished my backyard work with urban oasis and they did fantastic job! Noah was the site manager and he did an impressive job with our backyard so I would recommend working with him! Even Josh and Brain were very helpful so I would recommend them!

Recently had a rock bed put in our back yard to help with our eroding yard due to rain. We currently do not have gutters on the back of our home so every rain we had a lot of mud and dirt making it hard to walk out of our yard from fence gate. Not to mention the eye sore that it was becoming.

Not knowing how we could resolve this issue we called Urban Oasis for help! Carter helped walk us through options and pricing, we changed our mind multiple times and Carter was able to update to what we wanted. Carter was quick to respond, patient, and knowledgeable.

We ended up having a crush granite fill on either side of our covered concrete slab with a limestone wall to retain the grass growth. Extending about 10 feet on each side, we can now easily walk out to our fence gate and it looks beautiful! The space finally feels functional and we look forward being outside now all year round! Huge thanks to Carter and Noah for leading the team who completed this project in 1 day! Workers were all quick, clean, & friendly! Would give this project a 5 out of 5 as it exceeded my expectations, cannot wait to decorate and enjoy the Sun. Thanks Urban Oasis!

Discovered UO from a sign posted in our neighborhood, but checked out some of the work they've done before committing. We needed a general refresh of our landscaping, including replacing outdoor flooring (big job!), cleaning some of the house walls, and rebuilding several flower bed borders/walls. Other work included repairing some gates, restoring path borders, and re-rocking the paths. We also asked them to do some masonry work on our koi pond. They were cautious about their abilities in this area, but worked with us on repairing rock work and doing it as quickly as possible so the fish could return to the pond. Ultimately it all came out very nice. They were good to work with. We were happy to find a contractor that did what they promised and came on time. We'll be glad to use them again on future projects.

After using ShrubHub to create a design for my yard, the recommended contractor to use for the project was Urban Oasis. From the initial contact with Carter to the excellent communication with Emilio (the project manager), my experience was seamless. I also appreciated the care and timeliness of the men who brought the vision to life. I am happy with the outcome and plan to utilize Urban Oasis for future projects.

Had a great experience with Urban Oasis. They built us a deck with a Cowboy Pool integrated into one of the sides and the final result came out exactly the way we wanted. They even handled the ordering and coordination with Cowboy Pools for us which was super helpful. They also completed the job within the timeframe they estimated at the start of the project, and were thoughtful about certain aspects of the design we hadn't considered. Communication was very good throughout, and the crew left the yard super clean and tidy when they were finished. I would definitely trust Urban Oasis again for any future backyard projects.

Working with Urban Oasis Landscaping was a dream come true.

I wanted to update the landscaping around the house to a more modern style and they did an outstanding job.

They are very easy to work with. They listened to all my concerns and questions thru the entire process. Starting with the design.

The designer and I worked together during the process and he incorporated ALL my ideas. Super smooth process.

As soon as the design was finished, the team manager worked with us to get everything on time and made it easy for us to just relax and wait for everything to be transformed into beautiful spaces. They finished in 3 weeks and it was super fast considering all the work that had to be done.

Their team was not just on time, but worked very fast and clean. They were very open to any feedback and at the end of each day I used to check for any issue and if I found anything the next day they would fix it without a problem.

Even after the landscaping was done, they came back to address any other small thing that we found.

Honestly I couldn’t be happier with the results. Urban Oasis Landscaping exceeded all my expectations.

We found Urban Oasis through Yardzen and we had a terrific experience. Everyone we worked with was fantastic. The quote we received was much better than some other recommended teams. Everything in the quote was broken down with options and clearly listed with what would be done. This type of great communication lasted throughout the project where we had regular updates on timelines and progress.

The project took just about 2 weeks from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the results. I have put some before and after photos to show how much effort Urban Oasis went through to bring our vision to life. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any yard project.

Amazing experience with this crew. We started with a Yardzen design (Yardzen is an online design service that is independent from Urban Oasis). Once we had our general designs, Urban Oasis was the clear choice during the quote stage. They were knowledgeable, experienced, and open to ideas and approaches. And their quote was competitive with other quotes. They made clear what tweaks would be easy and what would be more expensive or complicated and why. They drew up basic redesigns as we learned from each other and iterated. Their communication was excellent during the on-site phase with daily texts about their arrival times and potential rain delays. They were perfectly on time with their start date and finish date — impressive with such a big project. Their workers were very detail oriented and clearly aimed for perfection. Their on-site project leadership was very friendly and always available. The end result has already changed how we connect and spend time as a family. They are very proud of their work and clearly strive to be the best at what they do. Will recommend to anyone who needs a landscaper!

UPDATED REVIEW
It's one year later, and we're having to get a sprinkler company to come fix what Urban Oasis messed up. After telling them multiple times that the sprinkler coverage wasn't good after their updates, Urban Oasis finally told us that "they're not really a sprinkler company" and "we should go to professionals for that." Even though we paid them to redo our entire sprinkler system.

Add to that, they redid a stone walkway for us two times, and it still doesn't look like what we asked for.

Their communication was great throughout the project, but next time we're doing landscaping, we'll definitely be looking elsewhere.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
We just wrapped up a full-yard landscaping project with Urban Oasis and are very happy with the results. The Urban Oasis crew were fantastic communicators from start to finish. They consistently listened to what we wanted and made sure to check in along the way. They also connected us with their plant specialist, Matt, who showed us the plants in person before the project kicked off. This was really helpful to make sure we liked the plants before purchasing!

We also appreciated that they took the time to walk the proposed plant locations with us before installing, letting us adjust locations to ensure we were happy. And their attention to quality was obvious throughout the project. Just one example: They made sure every plant had a sprinkler hose wrapped and staked near the roots to ensure adequate water. And they’ve been quick to follow up on the minor issues we’ve had since install - adjusting the sprinklers, staking a few trees, etc.

Biggest complaint is that a fair number of incorrect plants were delivered initially. Luckily, we knew what the plants should look like and were able to catch most of the issues before install. But it was frustrating that the quality control on getting the right plants was on us.
We also ended up with new sod but no way to water for the first few days, as they didn’t install the sprinkler controller right away. The crew manually ran the sprinklers for us during the day, but we missed out on some critical watering during those first few days.

Last quick note - we can’t speak to how Urban Oasis does with landscape design, as we came to them with a plan from a landscape architect.
All in all, despite the minor issues, we’re really happy with the quality of the work and would definitely work with Urban Oasis in the future!

The team from start to finish were wonderfully professional, communicative, and flexible. They were clear about the process and available for any and all questions or concerns. Jose was an amazing project manager keeping me informed without overburdening us. They were also very patient with it being summer with kids all about the area. Urban Oasis Contracting is a must use for all outdoor projects!
