Reviews of local pros in Austin, Texas

Had a new exterior door installed. Derek did an awesome job! Would use them again!

Garrett did an outstanding job with our home repairs! We highly recommend Monty’s Home Repair Services. Very happy with the finished job!!👍

Five stars aren't enough for Monty's Handyman Services! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. Darryl tackled my remodeling projects and house repairs with ease, and the results are outstanding. The whole team was incredibly knowledgeable, offered helpful suggestions, were reliable and independent. They have great communication skills and clearly explained every step of the process. They were punctual, respectful of my home, and left everything spotless. Highly recommend Monty's Handyman Services

The guys were absolutely wonderful to have help setting up at the house. Definitely will be calling soon.

Monty’s came and hung my mantel and installed a fan - really saved me a lot of stress! Derek was quick to get me on the schedule and the jobs were done. They’re my go-to for my to-do list!

I’m so pleased with the work on my hidden pantry door. Paul did an excellent job! Will keep Monty’s Handyman Service in mind for any other projects I need.

I would highly recommend them. Paul was our main guy and he was just extremely wonderful to work, very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable to give you options that one could miss.
Thank you Paul

Derek was so helpful with fixing all our squeaky doors, they’ve been driving me crazy! Thank you Monty’s for providing great customer service and taking the extra mile to even knock down some wasps nests for us too. I appreciated that I knew EXACTLY when they would arrive, and my appointment was confirmed so I didn’t forget about it as well. Can’t wait for him to come back and take care of us again.

They are extremely professional, we could not have picked a better company. They did an amazingly job, we" re going to ejoy the patio extension.. Now we can invite more of our friends over thanks to you guys.

The work was ok with a few minor issues. But what really affects my rating is the fact that the final payment request asked for a 10, 15, or 20% tip for a $14,000 job. I have never heard of a remodeling company to ask for a tip in addition to the actual quoted cost.

Monty’s reconstruction of the stairwell at the historic Kerr Community Center in Bastrop Tx. was excellently executed. We are very pleased with the project and hopefully can utilize their services on future projects.

I know I can count on Monty's to take care of the jobs that I hire them to do. Paul is so knowledgeable, professional and simply awesome. Way to go Monty's Handyman & Remodeling Service.

Eric arrived on time, was thorough and just awesome. Did an amazing job replacing my fence post and even identified the cause of it splitting. I highly recommend this company.

We have used Monty's for several projects the past year and have had a great experience. Highly recommend them.

Eric was the worker who came to our home. He was efficient, pleasant, polite, and he did everything on the list, even did one job over for a minor esthetic alteration. I would definitely recommend Eric, and Monty's Handyman Service. Thank you, Eric, you were great!

Eric at Monty’s is awesome! On time, great communicator and provides excellent customer service. I trust him in my home with minimal guidance, he’s super autonomous and gets it done fast! And he’s simply a kind a person ☺️

Derek was extremely professional, knowledgeable and treated my home like it was his own! What would’ve taken me hours to complete, Derek did in one. I called Monty’s before my wife called her dad!

From initial contact to completed service, I was very pleased with Eric, who completed the actual repair, to the communication of all steps along with way. I would highly recommend Eric for your projects. Efficient, professional and extremely good at what I needed done.

The men assigned my job (Darryl, Garrett and Eric) were polite, had attention to detail and left the job site tidy each day! My house apparently has very wonky angles and ceilings and they did amaaazing for what they were working with. I would definitely use Monty’s again. Professional and efficient!

Fantastic work and an amazing experience! I hired Monty's to install blackout curtains in my bedroom and worked specifically with Derek. From the initial consultation to the completion of the job, his guidance, professionalism, courtesy and amazing skills made this a highly recommended service. I was a bit lost in what would need to be done to make the installation a reality, but Derek was great at both explaining what was going on and delivering results.

Started with initial visit with Darrell, from Monty’s for a patio cover. Thru our discussion Darrell gave us a few options for a full or partial patio due to the size of the area, which we had been thinking about. He provided estimates for each option, for us to review. He was very patient and understanding with us as he knew this was a big decision. Eventually, we decided on the full patio option. He did the majority of build and did a fantastic job. The patio cover looks marvelous. We had some friends visit us before it was completely finished and they complemented on the look and woodwork. I would definitely recommend Darrell and Monty’s to anyone.
