Exceptional Service! The technician gave us a call when he was on his way and arrived on time for our appointment. He was professional, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. He performed a very thorough maintenance check and pointed out that he had found a leak in our system. He quickly repaired the leak and our system is now running quietly and cooling perfectly. I had an excellent experience installing a new HVAC system with Dylan and his crew. They were tidy, hardworking, and detail-oriented. We had problem with some component of our Central Heat/Air system and no idea what it was. Contacted Mr. Chill and was scheduled as soon as possible for us. The amazing tech arrived, talked to my husband and before I knew it, it was all diagnosed, parts provided and it was fixed. Nothing is better than piece of mind. Had a great experience with Mr. Chill! I had them come out to do a seasonal workup & found that they were very responsive, easy to schedule, & very reasonably priced (they have a good deal on maintenance contracts). Efrain was my technician and he was awesome! Very thorough, very knowledgeable, very personable and honest. He took pictures of my system to show me, took time to explain what he did & saw, took extra time to clean the outside unit of leaves & debris, gave an honest assessment of the state of my system, and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. I've had other local companies come in & this was by far my best experience! They are relatively new as a business but they've been in the industry for a long time and have worked for many of the "big guys". What I appreciate is that you get big company expertise but with small company service & appreciation. I'd encourage anyone to quit paying the high cost of some of our local firms and support this business of good guys who are customer-friendly in every way!

First time I've used this company. Best service ever!!!! Vivian, Efrain, Mark and Dillion were outstanding and went above and beyond to get my heating system back up and running before the next freeze came in. My heating system was still under warranty, and the parts were having to be shipped. Rather than wait the 5 or more days for them to come in, the next morning Vivian drove down and picked them up and my heat was back on by that evening. They were very courteous and respectful...I felt like a family member being taken care of! Thank you.

WOW! Dylan and his team helped guide us through cleaning and reengineering our duct work and HVAC, replacing supply vents and upgrading our system. He was extremely knowledgeable and consultative. I now feel confident that our system is set up for years to come! Best part, we have a seasonal maintenance plan to ensure we have fresh clean air all year round.

These guys are awesome! They know what they’re doing and they get it done quickly and at a very fair price. I highly recommend them. We liked them so much with the work that they did for us we put them on a maintenance contract! They knew right away what was wrong with our heat pump and got it fixed on a 34° day here in Bastrop. Mr. Chill is fast, super professional and very fairly priced for the services they provide. The customer service on the front-end was very knowledgeable (surprising, compared to another big local company that never even bothered to show up to an appointment they themselves set and we had to reset twice).

Anyway, Mr. Chill was refreshing fast and friendly and offered options. They showed up the next day when they said the would, and had all the most modern-looking high-tech gear. After the replacement, we had a few questions and they had no problem taking the time to help us understand. They were almost the least expensive quote we got and the ONLY one we would have trusted.

Probably a little crazy to gush over HVAC services, but then, when every dollar counts, and this is expensive stuff, you want professionals helping you out. Definitely recommend!

When our AC stopped cooling, Ephrain came out the next morning. He was really friendly and polite, got right to work and had the problem resolved in a very short time. He was also careful to educate us about ongoing maintenance we’re going to need. We bought a yearly maintenance package but he definitely didn’t push on that. I loved how professional he was . Trust is really important to me and he fixed the issue without trying to sell me anything else. Because of that, when it’s time to buy a new HVAC system I know I will be calling this company, because they’ve earned my trust !

This is the most amazing AC company I have EVER come across. They are so thorough with their check-ups and ensure your system is working properly. We had a bad experience with a larger company that is from Austin, where they would miss appointments and charge a lot of money for barely looking at the system. Mr. Chill did the opposite of this. They were ON TIME to their appointment, sent multiple notices, called me to let me know they were coming, AND they are reasonably priced. I 100% recommend signing up for their yearly maintenance plan, where they check your system twice a year. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! My AC unit outside my home was SO disgusting and dirty, but since it was under the vents, we could not see it. Mr. Chill literally took apart the vents and cleaned the entire unit! There were also some wires exposed that they patched up and repaired. We did not even know this was an issue when we called at the time it was just for the check-up! I could go on and on... CALL AND HIRE THEM!

I had a great overall experience with On Point Air Conditioning and Appliance starting with the initial phone call with Jennifer, who was very friendly and helpful, and kept me updated with my appointment and timing of arrival of the technician, and especially with Juan, their lead technician.

About 3½ years ago, my older Kenmore refrigerator had a condenser failure and I had it repaired through American Home Shield. The technician they sent, Adan with AB Appliance Repair, replaced the condenser, which got the fridge working again, but as I later learned, he did not replace the filter-drier at the same time — which should always be done whenever the sealed system is opened.

Recently, the fridge suddenly stopped cooling again. Since Adan had worked on it before, I called him directly (not through the home warranty this time, which I did not renew). He came out but was unable to diagnose the problem. He mentioned it might be a refrigerant leak but did not have the proper equipment to actually test for it. He couldn’t figure out what was wrong and ended up proposing a “replace everything” approach — condenser, evaporator, etc. — with about $1,600 total cost, nearly $1,000 of that being labor, and even stated it might not fix the issue. He charged $120 for the assessment visit without subtracting that initial expense from the follow-up repair proposal.

At that point I got a referral to this company from a trusted AC technician I use, Isaac with All About You A/C, and Juan came out the same day.

Completely different level of expertise and service.
They only charge you $75 for the initial visit and if you need to do a repair, they subtract that $75 off your subsequent repair bill. Jennifer clearly outlined this over the initial phone call so there were no surprises.

Juan ran proper pressure tests and initially considered whether there might be a refrigerant leak, but he had the correct equipment to verify that there wasn’t one. He then unplugged the refrigerator and observed how the pressures stabilized, which told him the system was fully charged. From there, he continued troubleshooting and noticed that the small line coming out of the filter-drier was cold when it should not have been — a clear sign of a restriction.
He immediately identified the real issue: a clogged filter-drier.
He also pointed out that the filter was still the original factory unit (you could see the factory crimp), confirming that it had never been replaced when the condenser was changed 3½ years ago. In other words, the previous repair was incomplete and ended up causing this failure.

Juan had the part right on his truck, replaced the filter-drier on the spot, added the appropriate refrigerant after opening the system, and the refrigerator was fully working again the same day.

Total cost was under $500.

No guessing, no unnecessary parts, no delays waiting days for components, and no “maybe this will fix it” — just correct diagnosis and proper repair.

He also helped clean the heavily dust-covered condenser coils (we have multiple dogs, so they were coated) using a blower and vacuum setup, and installed a new 5 year inline water filter (that I had just ordered and received from Lowe"s the day before) without adding extra charges.

I also gave Juan a tip for going above and beyond — not something you’re required to do, but in this case it felt well deserved given the level of service, honesty, and the fact that he took care of everything the same day.

Juan clearly knows what he’s doing and takes the time to diagnose problems correctly instead of throwing parts at them. I’ll absolutely be using On Point going forward and recommending them to others.

Our tech was friendly and very knowledgeable . The price was affordable . And he helped us understand how we need to maintain in a fifth wheel . I would definitely highly recommend this busy . Super fast in respond and great with their customer service .
