We have used Grasseaters for years, at our current home and for 20+ years in Berkely. I think we may have been one of the first customers ? They are reliable, will do what you ask, reasonable in price, polite, etc. etc... They have fixed our sprinklers, mulched, planted.... highly recommend

So grateful for Brian and Grasseaters. We travel frequently and needed someone to mow our one acre lot when we’re gone. Grasseaters was the only company that would do and they do a fantastic job. I’m picky about my yard and last year when we returned home it looked as good as if I had done it. Many thanks !

Grass eaters did an excellent job replacing grass in our side yard. They followed the plans exactly as requested. Their workmen were very polite and worked diligently to complete the project. We are very pleased and would highly recommend their work.

Tim from GrassEaters is our go-to irrigation specialist. He is on time, very polite, professional, personable AND he has fixed our problems quickly and very reasonably. If I could give him 6 stars, I would!!!

I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company for drainage work.

We had a French drain installed that cost a significant amount of money, and it does not work at all. After multiple heavy rains, the water still sits in the drain pipe and not flowing out that it is designed!

I reached out directly by email to give them the opportunity to address the problem. I received zero response. No call, no follow-up, nothing. That lack of accountability is just as concerning as the poor workmanship.

Now I’m being forced to hire an engineering/drainage professional to correct their mistake, which means paying thousands more to fix something that should have been done correctly the first time.

I even waited before posting this review hoping they would make it right , and they didn’t.

If you want a properly functioning drainage system and a company that stands behind their work, look elsewhere.

If I could give this landscaping company 10 STARS- I would do it!! They completely updated all of our landscaping- front, back, sides, created 2 flagstone patios, redid our entire sprinkler system, added outdoor lighting around the house, updated our back patio area and put in a 45 foot putting green. They were amazing to work with- so much attention to detail and communicated way beyond my expectations throughout the whole project! All of their partner companies, contractors and staff far exceed our expectations! We love our new outdoor spaces! I highly recommend you trusting all your landscaping and outdoor living to this company! We will definitely continue to use them for our lawn maintenance now and any future outdoor projects we might have! Thank you for taking such great care of us!!!

Tim and his crew are great, customer-centric and detail oriented. They know what they're doing. Very happy with their rebuild of my backyard irrigation system badly damaged by a recent pool build that first included a reroute of the main electric line. It's a messy, dirty job, literally, and they did it with good humor and can-do attitude.

Quick response, great work, and timely communication! Turnaround time on my request to have tree trimming at my parents home was quick. They were in and out with my parents very satisfied with the work, within a few days. Sam was very responsive. He was a great communicator, detailing everything that would be done, and the cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work completed from this company.

Tim installed our outdoor lighting system several years ago We love the difference it makes in our yard and house exterior at night. The design and light choices were great and he responded quickly when anything needed attention. He is an excellent contractor that we would highly recommend.

Tim did a fantastic job with our backyard lighting. He made several recommendations and then brought actual samples of the lighting and set it up on battery power for us to see how it would look at night. It really made all the difference in what we selected, where lights were installed, and how we would set them up on a timer. Our backyard is gorgeous and our hidden driveway is gently lit for safety. Tim is highly responsive to questions and an all around truly nice person to work with.

Tim and his co-worker Bill designed and installed a beautiful system of lights to replace an older setup that had, over the years, failed. We've been thrilled with the nighttime effect for a couple of years. Unfortunately, a freak lightning strike took out all the lamps, leaving the transformers fully operational, a few weeks ago. Tim and Bill rolled back in and replaced all the destroyed fixtures with new ones, covered under warranty. We cannot recommend this team too highly for your landscape lighting needs! (They also gave us some good pointers to plants to try out in our shade-dominated front yard, which have proved to be very good choices.)

Tim has totally transformed our home with his lighting, We appreciate the time he took demoing different lights, angles and placement to achieve the look we wanted. He and his crew are very professional and take pride in their work. Quality and workmanship are 1st class!

Landscape Lighting and Design is a new offshoot for Tim. I have used Tim as early as 2003 when he installed a koi pond and landscaping in my backyard. Through the years I have called him for service and question. Tim has always responded promptly and followed through on his promises. He recently installed lighting in my backyard and I am loving it! It has a timer that comes on and goes off with sunset and sunrise. It's great having that secure peace of mind when I'm home or traveling. Highly recommend these guys.
