I would highly recommend Tim with Barrera AC Services. He is reliable, did exactly what he said he would do, gave an estimate and stuck to it and will also provide a warranty for his work. We had a new furnace (heater) replaced just in time for the cold weather. Tim gave an estimated time frame and he did exactly as he said. What a trustworthy family. Thank you!

I would give Tim 10 stars if I could. Our air conditioning went out- we got an exorbitant quote from the first company I called. We needed a 2nd estimate, and our HOA highly recommended Barrera AC. Tim made time to come look at it that same day. Both indoor and outdoor units needed to be replaced, but Tim didn't try to upsell or oversell like the first company. He also helpfully pointed out that some drywall could possibly need to be removed due to the size of our 13 year old system. He also said they would replace the drywall if that happened. Oh. We also needed a crane to get the outdoor unit on the roof. He gave a ballpark estimate on site, and an hour later I received an official quote in my email. The price was reasonable and fair- and the whole process simple, no need to schedule a 2nd meeting with a manager to come out and upsell. Tim was able to get a crane schedule for us the next day, and he and his team came out that next morning to start the job. By 4pm they were finished, and no drywall had to come out. He took extra time to take the indoor unit apart piece by piece to save us additional cost- at what I think was likely a cost to himself. They also put down plenty of cloths on the new carpet to keep the work area as clean as possible. By that evening, cold AC was back in business. What a fast, simple painless process! Tim and his wife Pam (who runs the office) are incredibly nice, fair and decent people. Like I said, 10 stars if I could. Call Barrera- I don't think you will be disappointed. Highly recommend!

We came back from vacation and our AC was out. We were able to contact Ismael and get him out the next day. He was able to fix our AC issue in less than an hour and get our home cool again. He was kind, professional, and on time. I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family for any of your AC needs.

Ismael was great to work with. My heating system had been out on the recent cold days and my home warranty wasn’t doing much. He made the longer commute to service my home and get my heater working. Absolutely 5 star service. I get tentative when choosing an HVAC company because there are so many reviews, documentaries and stories of scams, poor service, awful customer service, etc... My friend recommended Creative Comfort Solutions and I do not regret choosing them. Ismael was prompt even having to drive long distance to reach my home. I had a yearly inspection, and issues with my overflow drain. He fixed a pipe, inspected every inch of the whole system and my A/C unit. He is uber polite and professional and very honest and knowledgeable. I have rentals that need looking after and I am giving this company all of my business. Big thumbs up with these guys!

Ismael and his team fixed our AC. They changed out parts that did take all day. Ismael really made sure that everything was done correctly and even cleaned out our unit outside. They were all very respectful of my house and even put down tarp to cover our floors and carpet. Ismael and his team provided great customer service.

This is a new review and I'm leaving the previous review as it's all true! Today was a new service for a complete HVAC replacement. I texted Ismael on Sunday afternoon when my tenants notified me the ac wasn't cooling. He was at the home before 9am on Monday morning. Unfortunately, the old system had run it's course and it was time to replace it.

Ismael promptly provided me options for replacing the condenser, or a complete system swap-out. Given the age of the interior coils, and the R-410 Freon being phased out with systems no longer in production, I quickly opted for entire system replacement. Ismael sourced components to build out a new system and we scheduled the installation for Tuesday after working out all of the details on Monday evening, well after his normal work hours.

On Tuesday morning Ismael communicated with me when he arrived at the supply house to pick up the new equipment so I could keep the frustrated tenants informed of when they could expect him to arrive to begin the task of removing the old equipment and getting all of the new equipment in place to be hooked up and running.

Ismael brought in his top installation team to ensure that the system install would be completed the same day and personally kept the tenants updated of his progress to offer them comfort that they would be sleeping in cool beds on Tuesday night. He and his team worked past 5pm and stayed at the property until the job was completed. I know it would have been easier for them to "clock out" and go home to their own cooled homes after a long exhausting day working in the heat and direct sun, but they were committed to getting the job done to satisfy both me and my tenants.

Because of my history with working with Ismael, I did not waste any time by trying to get other estimates in hopes of saving a few bucks. I know that Ismael puts his best foot forward from the start so I know I am getting the best deal possible. Yes, there may be someone out there that would cut their rate to get the job, but I have trust and faith in Ismael to know he can deliver on the jobs he bids with confidence he will complete the job without issue. Working with Ismael is a win/win for everyone involved!!!

<Prior Review> Ismael is amazing! I felt like I stepped back in time when I saw him come in and actually SERVICE my a/c vs what seems to have become the norm of techs just checking the air flow and maybe putting their gauges on the compressor to check pressures. Ismael was thorough with taking the compressor apart and cleaning the coils. He checked all electrical connections and capacitors too. Inside, he pulled out the blower motor to check it and every single part of the unit. It has been years (since my childhood) since I've witnessed such great attention to detail. I'm hooked, Ismael will get my homes going forward, and business referrals too. It was a pleasure having him make sure our HVAC was ready to go for summer!!

The first day I called I had someone visit me and they took a look at the issue and I was really happy chatting with Ismael as he diagnosed and looked carefully at the issue.

Overall, I highly recommend them and like I said before I really wish I called them first.

We noticed right away that our AC started giving us issues and with the upcoming Texas Heat this summer, we knew someone had to come out immediately. We contacted Creative Comfort Solutions and Ismael was able to connect with us and come out in a timely manner. He ran diagnostics and was able to find the issue as well as communicate the repair and walk us though the issues and repair. He offers a wonderful preventative maintenance that could have help us had we known before but from here on out we are contacting them for the services. Professional, courteous, & friendly helping us cool our home immediately for our children.

Great service! I booked an appointment to fix an issue I thought I had with my AC (but turned out to be an issue with me just accidentally flipping a switch on my thermostat) and Ismael could not have been kinder. I ended up having him give my AC a once over anyway, to be on the safe side.

Then when I had a real problem 3 weeks later (my AC stopped working on one of the hottest days of summer) he was there about 2 hours later to fix it. It was such a relief, literally and figuratively. Cannot recommend this business enough!

Absolutely the best customer service experience. Ismael Lopez arrived on time, cleaned the dryer vents and hose, then cleaned the laundry room floor after he was finished. Professional work, friendly and honest (don't need to clean dryer vents for 2-3 yrs). Will certainly refer Creative Comfort Solutions to family, friends and neighbors for HVAC and dryer vent cleaning.

Ismael quickly responded to me and was too backed up to come out the same day so he tried helping me troubleshoot and gave me recommendations. He then was able to make time out of his busy evening to make it out. Luckily it wasn’t anything major and he fixed the issue quickly. Will be using him again!
