Reviews of local pros in Buda, Texas

PRT Landscaping made my yard look like a million bucks. They trimmed everything!

PRT Landscaping does amazing work at great prices.

The crew came in and built a 40' dry stack boulder wall. They were on time, on budget and I am a super happy about the finished product. I look forward to working with them again.

After my nightmare of an encounter with another "landscaper" I posted about to avoid a couple weeks ago (the no-show, etc.), I was lucky enough to find Brian of PRT Landscaping. I had several other bids, and they were reputable companies and very nice. I ended up with PRT based on price, flexibility, availability for my calls, and reliability. I am on my last day (they began yesterday) installing river rock along the sides of my fence to help w drainage/dogs. They arrived on time, with all of the materials, cleaned everything up (it looked like no one was even here yesterday except the work they did), and arrived promptly this morning (even in the rain) to finish installing the rock. They also were able to maneuver my sprinklers and install extenders so they popped over the rock. The company is insured (this is important), Brian (the owner) comes and works WITH everyone as well much of the time (important to me also), and there is a large crew of guys working at once who have been with him for a long time. This is NOT a fly-by-night company. My point is I highly recommend their work. They break every cost down for you so you can see material and labor (no other bid would do this for me). They show up when they say, they are legally here and paid well by the owner, and it has been a pleasure working with them.

Women--I didn't have any men helping me out. So, if you are a single mom or woman and are looking for a company to do landscaping/rock installation/patios/etc., I highly recommend PRT as well. I felt at no point did they take advantage of my lack of knowledge, and in fact often said I didn't need certain things when other bidders pushed the extras.

Honest. Reliable. Responsible. Insured. (and I'm not getting anything out of this. I just want to share finally a great experience w a contractor since I moved here).

Brian and his crew did an excellent job repairing our yard after our pool build. Brian is genuine and down to earth. Doesn’t nickel and dime you to death and you get good quality work for a reasonable price. Guys on the crew are professional personable and do great work. Highly recommended.

If I could give ZERO I would. LIARS!!! Promised work they knew they could not perform. Trucks say a Year Warranty! We haven't heard from them in MONTHS!! Left everything Half done!! and I am disabled!!!

These guys have done lots of work on my house in Buda. They work fast and the price is right. They are respectful and good people you can trust. I recommend PRT Landscaping to all my friends.

WARNING ⚠️... This company charged me thousands of dollars and 80% of the plants died after 90 days. Their response was to “try a fertilizer” Along with not sticking to their original estimate and increasing the cost of the said above plants the day before install after taking a 50% up front non refundable deposit.
They also did not put down a proper weed barrier and I have grass and weeds growing through my xeriscape. I am now having to redo everything they were way overpaid to do.

PRT Landscaping is amazing!! They work hard, are very nice, patient, helpful, and always willing to make adjustments. I thought of something else I needed them to do for my yard every day they were there and it was no problem. I appreciate their flexibility and help. Alfredo our foreman and Justen our project lead were very communicative and I have enjoyed working with them immensely. Thank you so much!!!!

An absolute pleasure to work with the team at Potro! Emmanuel and his family completed our outdoor pool deck, landscape lighting and needs for terraced retaining walls with the highest attention to detail, practicality and awareness of budget. The team worked efficiently and expertly do assure we got exactly what we dreamed of! We are repeat customers - no need to keep interviewing companies and contractors ! Trustworthy and professional in all regards!

Great experience with Porto Pavers. We had a twenty year old paver path that was riddled with tree root bumps (aka tripping hazards). The Porto team repaired and releveled everything and made it like new. Highly recommend them.

Valeria and the team at Potro did an amazing job! The planter boxes look beautiful. The communication was on point and it was easy to ask questions and we received quick replies. We Will absolutely call them for any future needs! We highly recommend! Thank you Valeria and team! Our back yard looks great!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Potro Construction on my patio project, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome! From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, communicative, and efficient. They really took the time to listen to my vision for the space and brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectations.
The quality of the work is outstanding my new patio is exactly what I envisioned, and then some. The attention to detail, precision in the layout, and the choice of materials really shine. It’s now the perfect spot to relax, entertain, and enjoy the outdoors. They even took care of the little things that made a huge difference, like ensuring proper drainage and creating a seamless transition between the patio and my yard.
If you’re looking for a construction company that delivers exceptional results with a high level of craftsmanship, I highly recommend Potro Construction. I am beyond happy with how my patio turned out, and I can’t wait to enjoy it for years to come!
