Stay away from Cool Climate and Carl Ivers.I Our family has used them for better than 25 years. So when my A/C unit was damaged in the hail storm I naturally called him to fix the issue. State Farm is sending me the money to pay for his service, but he could NOT wait for me to get this check to pay him, instead they asked for a card and then charged me a fee to pay them. They have received the LAST BUSINESS from my family they will ever receive. We have always been loyal, even when the warranty was with another company we called Carl. We'll now I will be looking for someone else, and will never referring him again.

AC Unit at work went out. Called and spoke with Samantha, she was super sweet and extremely helpful. Charlie arrived not even an hour later. Very knowledgable, communication was excellent and clear. Was able to diagnose my issue rather quickly. Highly recommend Cool Climate!!

I highly recommend this company!!! Thank you for getting the best back on and overall upgrading our system!!During the winter storm our heating quit working. I called Cool Climate Air Conditioning and Heating, without hesitation Carl came out. He found our flame sensor was dirty and got us backup and running. Carl also took the time to give our dogs some attention and love. Carl also explained our system wasn’t really a preferred manufacturer in the central air market any longer. The next morning our heat once again went out, I instantly called Carl and he had a technician (Russell) come out. Russell took his time diagnosing the issue and it came to be our main board was no longer good and gave us the option to salvage or replace equipment. I’m a firm believer don’t spend good money on bad things, so, we went to the replacement and even upped to the stage 2 equipment for better efficiency. The team came out this morning and did the install within 3-hours which Leo, Juan, and David were great with the dogs as well as our toddler who was super interested in what was happening. Again, highly recommend this company and will give them our business at our store front as well!

What a joke. Technician Spencer has no idea what he's doing. This company will cost you a fortune and leave you furious. A simple A/C diagnostics call turned into a creepy and bad all around experience. Blue Best came out and fixed this mess. Call them first.

I want to update my original review. I left a negative review of this company previously and wanted to state Carl immediately went out his way to make it right. He sent out one of his managers to check out my system and he did an outstanding job. I believe in giving a second chance and I'm glad I did. I have used this company before and will continue to use them. Whatever you do don't let one bad encounter stop you from giving anyone another chance. THANK YOU, Carl for all you have done to correct my issue. I highly recommend Cool Climate for your A/C needs!!!

They always go above and beyond! We've had them fix our system a few times. Charlie was good about showing us the problem, and had it fixed. Our house was 90 degrees and it took awhile to cool back down. I'm glad Carl was patient with me when I called and asked him about that. Oh and they don't try to upsell you, they just find the problem and fix it !! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Our AC went out the Friday leading into Memorial Day. We called several local places but Cool Climate was the only one that responded quickly. These guys showed up and immediately diagnosed the issue (capacitor was out), fixed it and were out in less than 20 minutes. We were so grateful we didn’t have to go through an entire holiday weekend without AC. Their price was extremely reasonable too. I highly recommend them!

We have been using Cool Climate for a few years. Is and to say that I’m pleased would be an understatement!
When we first moved in to our home our upstairs unit needed replacement. We had a unit installed, but it wasn’t big enough. Carl came out and the next day we had a team of employees here replacing our unit.
Today we had them come out to do routine maintenance and our downstairs unit was in dire need of replacement (Roman the tech took pictures and video to show just how bad it was). He also gave us option in what units he recommended, but in no way was he pushy which I really appreciated!
A team of technicians were back at our house with a new 4 ton unit in less than an hour!! Leo and his guys were behind phenomenal! From beginning to end they were courteous, answered questions I had and showed me how to use the new thermostat.
I am so glad that we have continued to use Cool Climate! Carl Ivers and his employees are top-notch and I would recommend this company again and again!

Thank you Carl for coming to the rescue when our compressor kicked the bucket and for getting us back up and running in this Texas heat. Appreciate your skill and expertise in figuring out the problem with no delays and I would highly recommend Cool Climate to anyone in need of HVAC services. Get a second opinion!! I called Cool Climate because our heat stopped working. Carl said he would be here in 30 minutes, on a Sunday! Great! After checking our inside unit, Carl said the zone board went out and it would be $1900 (WOW). I know HVAC problems can be pricey but was not expecting that. I talked with a trained technician who lives in my neighborhood told him my issues. He agreed that was pricey for the zone board. So I called another company. Once he came out, he stated the zone board is actually not the problem, it’s the wiring!! So not only did Carl misdiagnose the issues, also price gouge!!! The board itself online is no more than $300. He must have some very very high labor charges. BEWARE. You at least got $175 out of me for the call

My 78 year old mothers heater went out during the winter weather we just had. Cool Climate was there in a flash and took care of getting her system up and running. Leo and Carl went above and beyond. My mom told Leo she could not get her truck out of the garage because of the ice and before Leo left he cleared the ice from her driveway. My mom was floored by the customer service and happy with her new system. Would highly recommend Cool Climate to anyone that needs HVAC work done. Thanks for the great work!!
