My A/C quit on me in the beginning of summer on a Sunday. I did not want to spend the rest of the day and night without A/C. I called Allied and got the owner, Joe. He came out at the drop of a hat. As soon as he got here, he went straight to work and identified the problem within 10 minutes (bad capacitor, whatever that means). He replaced the part and the machine started working like a dream again. I'm a total newbie when it comes to home maintenance and dealing with contractors, which made me obviously vulnerable. But Joe did not take advantage of that vulnerability, and charged a lot cheaper than I was expecting and even gave me some good tips for future maintenance. I will definitely recommend and use again.
