Prompt, professional, experienced. Had all the tools and knowledge to complete the job (outlet installation & relocation, electric charger install, troubleshooting/fixing wiring). Quick communication, kept to schedule, cleaned everything after completing the job. Will hire again for next project.

Excellent Company, awesome service!!! My fridge started leaking badly from the water filter. Al came to my house the next morning and ordered the parts. Two days later he returned and fixed my fridge. His price was very reasonable.

Having issues with my stupid washer so I contacted Longhorn Appliance Repair via chat, I received a response almost instantly and a follow up phone call maaaaybe 15-20minutes later! He was very knowledgeable and was able to tell me what I needed on the spot and also able to give me an estimate using the model number within minutes! Unfortunately, I have a stupid expensive washer so the parts alone(which are unavailable at this time) were ridiculously expensive and I would be better off just buying a new washer 😅 But he was able to tell me what the problem was and give me excellent advice, saving me lots of time and money! I appreciate his honesty and professionalism! I will definitely contact him again for any future appliance repairs!

I called Longhorn Appliance Repair on Monday morning. I needed a company that could fix all major appliances. They were the only company I called able to come out same day and diagnose both my failing refrigerator and leaking washing machine. By the next day the parts had come in and everything was repaired within 30 minutes. The service was fast and efficient and the price was fair. I will be using Longhorn for all my future repair needs.

We called Longhorn and left a message asking to schedule a dryer repair for the next business day due to it being 10mins until closing. A few minutes later, our phone call was returned and we let the gentleman know what the problem was and if he could come out the next day. He told us he would be there in 20 mins, was there in about 10. Only took him 5 mins to diagnose that some of our dryer fuses had blown. He fixed the problem in under 15mins! I would definitely recommend Longhorn for your repair needs.

My Frigidaire French Door refrigerator stopped cooling and the temperature began to rise. I called Longhorn Appliance repair and Al promptly scheduled an appointment for the next day to come and check out the problem.

Al arrived promptly in the designated window (and called when he was on his way) and quickly assessed the problem. It turns out the fridge was not properly defrosting, leading to ice build up and an inability of the fan to circulate cold air, which he noted was a common problem with this brand and model. Al indicated it would be about 400 dollars to replace the defrost kit, and said he would call with the final estimate by end of day once he found out the price for the part, but he also was honest and indicated the problem would most likely recur within the next 6-12 months because of a poor design.

We've had all kinds of problems with this fridge since we bought it 6 years ago (especially the ice maker), and what Al said confirmed that. He actually recommended we replace the refrigerator, even though it would be in his best interest to repair it.
Al was the consummate professional, responsive to our urgent need for service, polite, and HONEST!

TL:DR If you want fast, honest, professional appliance repair service, call Al at Longhorn Appliance Repair in San Antonio. Also, don't buy Frigidaire brand refrigerators!

What started to be the worst experience in trying to get my refrigerator fixed turned into an awesome experience thanks to Longhorn appliance. I called and had an issue with another company.. Al came quickly and took a look and promptly fixed the issue. He even showed me what was going on which was also a nice touch. It is alive again and I am truly thankful to Al and his son for their great service. Thank you very very much again!

Al was great! He returned my message as soon as I left it. He came to my home less then an hour. He checked my dryer and immediately knew what was wrong. He had the part on hand and replaced it less then 25 minutes! He's really good at communicating with the customer. I was very pleased with the price and will be calling him for future jobs. I am very happy with Longhorn and my repair performed by Alfonso. He was very professional and worked towards repairing my dryer quickly but properly. He went above and beyond to resolve my issue and even provided me time to answer my questions and adjust my dryer after the repair was completed. I submitted my contact info on Longhorn’s website and received a call within minutes....very nicely surprised. I have an older, but reliable and better at cleaning washing machine (with the agitation) and dryer, but needed to have them serviced, and equipped with new hoses and dryer vent, etc. I spoke with Al who happened to have an opening the next evening. He showed up on time and also called to keep me updated while on his way. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about my older machine and dryer. After replacing the new items (to include an updated plug on the dryer), he ran wash and dry cycles to make sure all was good. He also cleaned the machines up a bit. I’ll definitely be calling Longhorn again and highly recommend them.

I Had a problem with my washer and Al came within the time frame /day I told him I would be available. Was on time and got straight into the work. Turned out my washer wasn’t worth fixing up so he recommended just finding another one, but before having to stressfully look for one he helped us with one he had (he saved my time). He Sold it to us for a great price & he even took the time to bring it to us, now I’m able to wash my clothes with an awesome working washer. Would definitely recommend!!

This company is amazing. I called and they were out in less than 2 hours. Al had the problem with my front loading washer diagnosed within 10 minutes, got the part, installed it, confirmed the problem was solved and was just a joy to work with. Our dryer was going bad and we called Longhorn Appliance and they came out the same day and repaired it within 15 minutes. He told me we may have to replace another part soon but he thought it may have a bit more life left. It started going bad a couple days later so we called back. They ordered the part and came back out within 24 hours and fixed it. Great service from honest folks. I’ll definitely use them again.

Al from Longhorn charged an exorbitant amount of money to fix my fairly new dryer. A month later, it stopped running again. Four months later, the same thing happened. Frustrated and suspicious of the work performed, I hired a different technician and was told that the fuse had never been replaced. Instead, Al had used a wire to bypass the system, which is not only incorrect but also quite unsafe. Don't make the mistake of dealing with this individual— you will probably regret it.

I own a massage therapy business and we are hard on our washing machine. Our washer stopped spinning and Longhorn was able to come out the next day. Our washer suspension was shot and he said he had another washer that was perfect for what we needed. He gave is a great price and delivered it the next day. If I had bought a new one it would have not only cost me more but I would have had to wait weeks for it to come in. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the service and willingness to help us get our laundry going again!

Al and his company will be my go to guys from this point forward. Not only that, I posted a message on their website on Sunday for service. Al called me within 2 hours to ask what was happening with my freezer door........ON A SUNDAY!? Who does that?
