I was extremely happy with our overall experience with Lion King HVAC. Adie as well as his colleagues were very communicative and professional every step of the way. Their work was excellent and the attention to detail was outstanding. Our HVAC had gone out and I had an unexpected flight cancellation getting back to DFW due to weather on the day of installation. Lion King kept me updated the whole time with pictures and texts. We got the American Standard Gold system and we are extremely pleased with the quiet performance (cools the house great!) of this equipment. I plan to recommend Lion King to anyone in need of an HVAC system.

I hired Coppell Heating to install a zone heating system in my home to address uneven heating, paying $2,200 for the service. However, the next day, I noticed no airflow to the downstairs area. Coppell Heating returned and attributed this to improperly taped ducts. The issue became more apparent during a cold front in Dallas, with the downstairs temperature dropping to 48 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 72 degrees.

During this time, the inadequate heating forced my wife, my service animal, and me to stay in a hotel. Upon hiring a third-party HVAC company for inspection, they reported a poorly installed zoning system, including a significant kink in the ductwork, only one damper installed instead of the required two, and debris left in the attic. Consequently, I requested Coppell Heating to restore the system to its original state, which resolved the heating issue.

I am now seeking a full refund from Coppell Heating, as the zone system installation was unsatisfactory. I intend to remove this review upon receiving the refund. Failure to receive the refund will lead me to dispute the charge with my bank and maintain this review.

UPDATE as of 2/13/2024:
I received an email stating that I would be given a $1,200 refund. I called back to inquire about the fairness of this amount, considering I should receive a full refund minus the cost of the thermostat since the labor they performed essentially amounted to nothing beyond restoring everything to its original state. At this point, I was on a call with Debbie. As she was about to put the phone on hold, she began speaking to someone else and bad-mouthed me, claiming I was being rude. At no point did I raise my voice or make personal remarks. Five minutes after being placed on hold, she abruptly informed me, ‘You’ll get your refund!’ When I asked for the amount, she confirmed, ‘The full $2,200!’ I am grateful for this resolution. However, I’ve decided to keep this review posted to highlight the experience and the necessity of advocating for fair treatment. If I hadn’t insisted on my refund, I would have faced a loss, especially since I needed to hire another company to correct their work and restore the system to how it was before Coppell Heating’s intervention.

Great company! They replaced all of my duct work with a price that blew away the competition! They did the job with short notice, showed up on time and finished it in the time they estimated it would take. I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend them to my family and friends! Great job Austin & crew!

Coppell Heating and Air Conditioning has taken care of my heating & air for the last 23 years. That includes system upgrades, repairs when needed, and regular maintenance checks. I have always found Coppell Heating and Air to be very reliable, knowledgeable about my equipment, and courteous. Today Braulio came by for the regular maintenance service. Braulio has been here several times in past years. He is always very thorough in maintaining my home system and my mini-split in my workshop. Braulio always does an excellent job.

Owner Joel came through for us again. Our son's house had been without a/c for 5 days and the home warranty company told him it would be another 3-5 days before repair. That was unacceptable. Called Coppell Heating and Air Conditioning and within hours Leo N. was out to their house and made the repair in 30 minutes. You can really depend on Joel and his team to service your a/c issues. Our Trane experienced a circuit board failure and would not operate as required. Both Austin and Leo were positive and responsive in attending to our problem. Being without heat can be an issue in Texas in December. Not only did they respond in a very rapid fashion, but obtained the required part and installed it an expedited manner. I strongly recommend this company for any A/C or Heating problem you might encounter.

Coppell Heating and Air always goes above and beyond for our hvac needs. I was able to get an appointment quickly, they showed up right on time, and the tech Danny was awesome. Our air conditioning went out the morning of July 4. We called Coppell Heating and Air thinking there was no way our air conditioning would be fixed on July 4th and were already making plans to spend the night in a hotel. The person who took the call was very professional and said we would be contacted ASAP. We were. Braulio Meraz contacted us within the hour and said he could be out within 3 hours. He found the problem quickly and had it working in an hour or so. Thank you Coppell Heating and Air, your great employees, and your quick service on a holiday. We appreciate your company so much. We were blessed to be able to sleep in a cool home instead of a hotel room.

They did a great job with the recent repair. The problem was tricky to find, and required rewiring the AC system (previously incorrectly installed by a home warranty company) in the attic in 120+ deg. temp. The system now works great, and Braulio was very professional and fast.

On 10/17/24, Leo came out to do our winter check-up and he was very professional, friendly and efficient. He was also very thorough, even notified us of a gas odor that may be coming from hot water heater, which was VERY responsible and much appreciated! We want Leo for all future visits!

Today, exact same thing happened! Called late last night as our 2nd unit went out and, at 10AM today, Austin came and quickly diagnosed problem - capacitor (again)! Austin was also VERY professional, friendly and quickly replaced the capacitor! We SO appreciate the prompt response and great service!

Two weeks ago, I'd called answering service at 9:30PM as living room A/C was 80 degrees and not cooling. At 9:10 AM next day, Braulio Meraz came and, within 30 minutes, he diagnosed and fixed the problem (needed new capacitor)! Braulio was very professional, friendly and efficient. He did a great job and cooled us off again! Thanks for the great service and quick turn-around!

We have used Coppell AC/Heat for many years to install/maintain our home ac/heat unit and have always been very happy with their service. Today we used them again to install a mini-split unit in our garage. Joel (Jay) Short met with us several weeks ago to estimate the job and provided the electrical requirements that needed to be met before he could install the unit. After we had the new electrical circuit installed, Joel came out on this very hot day and installed the Samsung mini-split air/heat unit. As always Joel was professional and answered our questions throughout the day. The installation looks great both inside the garage and outside the house. Joel did an exemplary job! My 4 year old A/C began to fail on Saturday afternoon. I couldn't reach the company who did the install so, on recommendation from a neighbor I contacted Coppell Heating and A/C on Monday morning. They scheduled a technician for Tuesday morning.
The technician (Austin) showed up as scheduled. He was friendly, professional and thorough. He completely checked out the system, located and replaced the failed part and had my home cooling down in record time.
I appreciate his and the company's courteous professionalism.

Excellent experience! I had a full install of two new ACs and furnaces, and am so happy I went with Coppell Heating and Air. Joel, one of the owners, came for the quote, and was transparent and answered all my questions. The crew that did the install, though they did have to come back for some loose ends (this happens and they handled the right way) did an excellent job. They made sure the AC was running and I was comfortable until they came back for the loose ends, which was much appreciated! They were transparent and did a great job. On a side note, the supplier had some logistics issues and went out of there way to get Joel an upgraded unit, all so my job could get done on time. Really I can’t say enough about Coppell Heating and Air, I highly recommend.

Coppell Heat and Air installed our AC a few years ago and has done routine maintenance. Today, our AC stopped, thermostat went blank. It was a simple need of changing the batteries in the thermostat and waiting for the AC to come back on…but we didn’t know. Austin could have made us wait for him to get to us, but he took the time to troubleshoot over the phone. We’re so grateful for this family owned business and how well they have taken care of us! I highly recommend using them for your HVAC needs!! Top notch service and not trying to sell you things you don’t need!

Great service by Mr. Austin & Ms. Capricia!!! Had a difficult A/C issue caused by rats vs. compressor wiring. Very difficult to troubleshoot. Got me back up and running with no 'hard sell' for equipment - - but future options (including upcoming refrigerant regulation changes) were presented. Absolutely rock star experience.
