Following a severe hail storm in May 2025, our roof needed to be replaced. In addition, we needed a solar panel replaced which had been shattered and the privacy fence and shed had substantial damage. In late June, I watched my neighbor's roof being replaced by Legacy Roofing and was impressed, not only by the workmanship but also by the attention to detail, and especially by the care the crew took to protect and clean up the property during and after the installation.
I spoke with Legacy supervisor Jay Smith at that time and asked that he inspect my roof and other property. I had contacted my insurance company to file a claim. When the company sent an inspector, Jay came too. Together, they walked the property and climbed the roof. Soon after, I received estimates from both the insurance company and Legacy. Since they were within range of each other, I contracted with Legacy to do the job. I was not disappointed with my choice.
Jay was available, in person or by phone, through the entire process. Jay was often on-site which lead me to believe that the workmanship and care exhibited by his roofing crew was expected by him (and his company) throughout. They arrived on time and finished as planned. The fence- and shed-painting/repair crew were attentive to every detail. I highly recommend Legacy Roofing and Contracting to any homeowner needing similar repair.

They got my insurance claim approved. I received great quality shingles, got to pick my own color for the shingles, new vents, and the rest of my claim fulfilled that worked with my schedule. I highly recommend this company!

Over the years, this is the 4th roof I've had replaced, and by far the best experience. Legacy Roofing, and particularly Matt, handled every detail from start to finish, which differed from past experiences. Highly recommend.

This company is the Best company out there for roofing !!! We have had our home insurance for over 10 years & when we needed to have some repairs to our roof after the past few storm they would not approve it. Thankfully to Matt & his experience in this line of work we were finally able to have the much needed repairs done. Legacy Roofing And Contracting were a pleasure to work with on our re-roofing project. We have a large 2-story house plus a guest house. Matt VanderTol and his team handled the project in one day! Let me start off with how I am so Impressed with Legacy Roofing the friendliness, knowledge, workmanship, quality of jobsite cleanliness, everyone I met from Rico, Cody to all the workers they all answered my questions and concerns. They made me feel like family. The workers arrived at 7am along with the material and my roof was completely torn off and new roof was installed and job site cleaned up, workers were done and gone by 2pm that same day. I was so impressed I was in tears of joy. I had been stressed out for the past five months after the hailstorm, my son referred me to this company and within two weeks everything from paperwork to roof was completed. Chris was very professional and friendly from start to finish. We filed the claim with insurance He handle the communications with the adjusters and made the process easy. When I couldn’t decide on shingle colors, he even brought larger sample—above and beyond service. Highly recommend!

My family’s home recently went through a pretty large hail storm. Matt V. came over the next day and did an extensive and thorough inspection on our roof. We weren’t so lucky as far as the roof goes, but we were lucky that Matt and the Legacy Roofing family had our backs. Matt walked us through the process with our insurance company to get a claim filed. When the adjuster came out to do his inspection, Matt came out as well to assist and ensure that all damage was correctly documented with USAA. The process couldn’t have gone any smoother. Matt’s professionalism was apparent from first contact, and his passion for customer service was noted immediately. Real heartfelt character is seemingly harder to find these days, but Matt has it. He and his crew did a phenomenal job getting this new roof on in one day and it looks amazing! I won’t hesitate to reach out to him if and when we get another Texas sized storm, and neither should you!

We dealt with Chris getting our roof replaced after a severe hail storm. Chris was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. My experience with Chris was awesome from the moment we met until the job was completed. During the project, the roofers accidentally scuffed the stucco on the front of my house. There was no arguing or debating—I simply brought it to Chris’s attention, and he immediately took care of it. He said he would fix it, and he did so promptly. That level of accountability and customer service is hard to find these days, and it’s exactly the kind of service I truly appreciate.

After the huge wind storm we endured in March I found myself in need of a new roof. I called my insurance company and eventually they sent out an adjuster.
Once I got the estimate I called a guy that I had used to rebuild a fence who had said if I ever needed a new roof.....but, when I called him he said he got out of the roofing business, but knew someone trustworthy he would recommend.
That's how I met Clay Jackson with Legacy Roofing. He was precisely on time when he came out the first time. He turned out to be a straight forward, low pressure kind of guy. He said he would take the job and bring out some samples. We met again and chose a color of replacement architectural shingle. His crew showed up to the minute of the time he said they would and got busy. They arrived at 7A and we're done by 3P and left. They cleaned up so throughly that we never found even one nail. Three days later Lagacy's gutter people showed up and we in and out in record time. Clay with Legacy dealt with my insurance company and they agreed on payment for any additional work. The job turned out , I got paid, I paid the contractor. Now I have a beautiful new roof. (See pics)

A wind storm destroyed my windows, siding, and roof. I was referred by a friend to Matt Vandertol with Legacy roofing and contracting. He made everything easy. Matt is an awesome guy and was quick to get all my repairs done and was super helpful when it came to putting in my first insurance claim.
