arc installed a standby Kohler generator -The service was just as promised, we had our generator within one week of our quote approval. The team was professional and waight left me. Most impressed was that my home was left clean with no trash or visible debris that I even had such an invasive installation. This is not something that trades are known for, so I am especially grateful because I was expecting to have to have my grass repaired and things like that.

nothing I want to mention is that I have been waiting for another company for four months and I already had a deposit on file and they kept changing my installation date. Eventually, I got frustrated and did some research, research I should’ve done from the beginning and found that that company was known for this. trying to get that deposit back, but the most important thing is that I have the standby generator installed so that I can adequately care for my elderly parents.

Great experience from start to finish. We had a generator installed and gemstone lighting. Armando and his team were efficient and professional. Lights look great. They were able to explain the whole process and answer all my concerns. I highly recommend them.

A contract is supposed to protect both parties. So I added a complete scope of work to the contract and was told that it would be followed. When the installers arrived, they didn’t know anything about the scope of work. It wasn’t a huge issue. It just meant that I had to be out there in the heat more often trying to catch them doing the portion of the work that I was concerned about. The fact that I am an engineer, probably had something to do with it. Overall, the installation was good with one exception: it seemed like the last installer on site was in a hurry, and I did not feel like I got a good training session on how to operate the generator. Having said all of this, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a generator.
UPDATE:
I have changed the overall rating to a 5-star. after a couple of days, Armando came out and I gave me a very good schooling on the generator itself and how to operate it. I had to run the generator for a week while waiting for the service line to be repaired. During that timeframe, Armando helped me several times and after the service power was restored, Jonathan came out and changed the oil. Their service is superior to any that I have heard about in the Houston area.

arc electric replaced our whole electrical panel and added generator plugs for us. Showed up on time, wonderful and kind crew, steady and thorough, super polite and peaceful to work with. The company has been transparent throughout the process and easy to communicate with. Just wonderful!

Exceptional family owned company, love the communication, and pride in their service! They offered last minute installation during the storm that knocked out power close to millions in Houston! We were lucky to their generator installed very next day! We had power to entire home within 24 hours and children were so happy! We helped neighbors who also suffered days of no power! Great experience !! Tina explained everything completely. The team came out as planned and explained the entire process . When was starting to hook up to the gas they smelled gas faintly so Armando told my husband so he puked call center-point they were here within an hour while the crew was completing the install . The crews explained how to complete maintenance and left. The center point employee found a leak in the valve and put in an entire new system , meter , valve etc. Thanks to Armando for alerting us and preventing a possible tragedy . Thank to all at Arc electric for all their professionalism and genuine caring for our safety..I can not be more pleased.

Fantastic service and communication! We had surge protectors installed on our equipment due to recent issues with lightening storms at our house. arc was amazing! They knew exactly what we needed and had us scheduled super fast. Highly recommend!!

We had an ev charger and full home surge protection installed. Service and installation was great and priced right. The only thing I would change is scheduling, they book about two weeks out. I wish there was same day appointments. Currently they have same day for emergency calls but not like ev chargers. I get they are a smaller company and hope as they grow that business picks up where they can have a same "day crew" . Thank you ARC for the hard work. We hope to work with you soon again.

One of my circuit breakers kept tripping. Arc electric replaced the circuit breaker and found and corrected the problem by trouble-shooting the circuit. They arrived on-time and did an outstanding job diagnosing and fixing the problem. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I will gladly use them again for any electrical problem.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! After the recent storms they were quick to respond, had everything we needed in stock and came out to install almost immediately! We used arc electric and lighting for our permanent lighting system , a standby generator and fans in our pergola. They were not the cheapest bid, but the one thing I will say is that we had a smooth project from start to finish even with our hectic schedules. We are not cost based in our decisions but we are sensitive to pricing with the current market. We wanted peace of mind that the work would be done and that it would be done timely. It was done. They did good work, but most notable our home was not left a mess out of any of the 9 days they were there. Not one piece of trash. That means alot since we have been dealing with contractors for almost a year now and have become accustomed to having a mess that we hate.

Four stars because the trucks are kind of old, for a luxury brand, they should have better trucks.

I cannot rate Arc electric + lighting highly enough, they truly have exceptional customer service and care about doing a great job. Tina’s communication is excellent and the teams that came to do two jobs for us (lighting/fan installations then a whole house generator installation) have been professional, helpful, efficient, trustworthy, tidy and a joy to work with - their communication whilst onsite was excellent too. I highly recommend this wonderful family owned company.

The whole experience was flawless! Armando listened to what I wanted to accomplish, and absolutely delivered. He installed a generator inlet plug (see photo)and interlock, rebalanced a couple circuits, and added 6 new outlets in my garage. Tina was so helpful and they got me completely taken care of within a week. Highly recommend!

Arc electric came very promptly and did a fine job replacing all of our smoke detectors. We only needed 9 replaced instead of 10 and they promptly updated our invoice. I would definitely recommend arc for your electrical needs.

The ARC team did a fantastic job on our generator installation. I was pleasantly surprised the whole job, from beginning to end, did not take the whole day. Also, and just as important, the job looked beautifully done.

arc electric + lighting upgraded the LED lighting under my cabinets and in the cabinet with glass doors. They installed an adjustment for the light appearance so now we can select warm, neutral and cool and adjust intensity. We control lights with a remote control. Electrcian did a very neat professional installation under cabinet and in the glass door cabinet. Exceeded my expectations. Will definitely use arc again for my electrical and lighting jobs.
