I thought the work done was performed very professionally and quickly. I enjoyed talking to the workers while they did the job and they were very good about answering any questions I had. The only negative I had was the cost for the work. I didn't have time to get estimates for the job so nothing to campare with, but I thought the cost was a little high for what they did. Other than this I have no complaints.

I've used Master Services on my last 2 houses for chimney renovations and they are great. They are reasonably prices, respond to messages quickly and show up on time.

Cayden with Master Service was very pleasant when he greeted us and informed us what he would be looking at. After inspection of the 2 chimneys he went over the damaged areas and the cost. The cost was reasonable and we signed on the dotted line. Thank you Cayden

The whole team was fantastic from the first outreach. We had several services done to an older fireplace which had never been used. We had Master Services install gas logs, a cap on the chimney and add water seal. All scheduling and services at the house were professional and friendly. The estimation process was easy to understand with no pressure to do anything we did not want or need. Upon completion of the final project, Ryan even blew leaves out of my gutter while he still had the ladder against the house. Master Services will have my business for years to come.

Masters Services was a pleasure to do business with. Despite having to deal with high demand post-Beryl (hurricane), they were very professional. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was because we have yet to experience a serious rain event since, which in my mind, would put the job to a true test.

Aside from customer service reps who were always responsive and friendly over the phone, I was able to speak to one of the head honchos, Brian, at length about the in's and out's of what they offered. He put me more at ease about the service provided.

In addition, I was able to bounce questions off of Joe, one of the specialists responsible for delivering the service first-hand. He, too, was very patient with me, answering the many questions I had for him.

I would highly recommend them for anything to do with the chimney, or anything else, really. It turns out they do remodels, too. I'll have to ask them about that ;o-).

I found Master Services in Best Pick Reports, where they have been recommended for 13 years. They did an excellent job and the customer service is first-rate. The personnel who answered the phone were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Corey Tucker, who conducted the camera inspection and explained the work needed, was great. Richard Clark, who undertook the thermocrete relining of my chimney with his associate Elliot, truly went above and beyond to make sure that the fireplace looked better than it has in years. Another mark of a good company is how they handle any issues that come up later. Two days after the work was done, it turned out that some of the mortar had adhered to the damper, preventing it from closing all the way. Richard came right back out and cleaned it up so the damper could easily close again, and made sure any debris was removed. The fireplace now looks pristine and I look forward to using it for the first time in years. I will definitely call Master Services for any and all chimney work I need in the future and recommend them wholeheartedly.

These people are crooks and scammers! The "salesman" as he referred to himself, talked more than he worked. We were told that it would be $275 for the inspection and cleaning. When my fiancé asked if they could put a cap on, they said sure! When the salesman got here, he said right off the bat that they can't clean the chimney if it fails inspection and he saw some tiny cracks in the back and said it would automatically fail. Then he went on the roof and found other problems. I'm not saying these problems were not valid, but the price he quoted me was ridiculous he also said that the inside of the chimney was built incorrectly and would have to be completely redone before we could use it. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman and he kept saying over and over that they would re-grout the few cracks in the chimney and put flashing and put a cap on for $2600. He told he is the only sales man that gives a teacher discount, but still charged me $275 for just an inspection. When I got my fiancé on the phone, he was using a lot of different scare tactics saying that eventually water would come rushing down the chimney and flood our house! A fancy chimney cap on Amazon is $100. When he saw that I was apprehensive about giving him the OK to do the work he started telling me over and over again that they are the cheapest in the area, like he was afraid I was gonna call for another quote. I have not done that yet, but suspect other places will be nowhere near what he charges. He did show me a video of a raccoon living in our chimney. And then when he came off, the roof started telling me that time was of the essence and she was going to have babies at any time. in the video I saw, she did not even look pregnant to me!

Corey was prompt on a super cold day in January. He was friendly, professional and very efficient. He did a thorough inspection on a chimney and fireplace that had not been used in many years. He recommended a log refurbish for the gas fireplace and we set up the appointment. Customer service provided a next day appointment and Richard came the next day. He did a great job restoring the fireplace, logs and the base supplies to a gas fireplace. I feel really confident that the gas fireplace is safe to use and it's an added comfort to the room.

Master Services is highly professional. The work is good (fireplace repair in my case), the workers are professional and very good at what they do. They went overboard in making sure they did not make a mess. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

My experience with Masters Services has been nothing but flawless. Gina was incredibly helpful in getting appointments set up and communicating next steps. Cayden was also very helpful during the inspection. He was thorough, transparent and professional by providing the right services for our needs. I will definitely use Masters Services moving forward all thanks to Gina and Cayden!

Masters Services has been my go-to chimney service company for the last several years. Recently, I needed immediate help after a wind event, and they promptly responded. Reasonable pricing. Terrific employees.

I hired Masters Services for chimney repairs at my home and was presented with a $25,000 estimate.

After the chimney work was completed, I consulted an independent, highly experienced chimney contractor to review the pricing and scope. His exact words after reviewing the estimate were: “You got scammed.” He explained that the amount charged resembled what you would expect to pay for a full chimney rebuild not what was vaguely listed on the $25,000 estimate.

    Major concerns included:

    • No breakdown of labor hours, materials, or scope—making it impossible to validate the charges.

    • Heavy use of NFPA 211 fire code language without tying it to actual inspection findings—this appeared intended to pressure approval.

    • A “lifetime warranty” that is void unless you agree to pay indefinitely for annual inspections—this was not disclosed upfront.

    • Charges like $3,415 for smoke chamber parging and $6,885 for liner installation were significantly above market rate, with no justification.

I submitted a detailed grievance letter as requested by the Master Services supervisor of this job.
Instead of offering a refund or resolution, Master Services forwarded my list of grievances to their insurance agent to file a commercial general liability (CGL) claim. An adjuster contacted me directly and confirmed that this claim is going to be denied based on the circumstances of my letter.

I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and posted a compliant on Yelp.

I strongly advise to be careful and not have what happened to me happen to you.

We had Masters Services convert our gas fireplace into a wood burning fireplace and we are extremely satisfied with their services. Angela French came to our home and provided us with an extensive outline of the work to be done and the costs involved. She was very thorough and professional and addressed all of our questions and concerns. The work was completed promptly and on schedule. The workers were very respectful of our home and made every effort to insure safety and clean working conditions. Juan Patino is a perfectionist when it comes to his work performance and ethics. Juan took extra care to make sure our fireplace not only worked but looked beautiful. I would highly recommend Masters Services to anyone who has a home improvement or remodeling project. Their work is warranted and their prices are reasonable. Masters Services will definitely be our go-to company for any future work that we need to have done!! They have our trust and respect.

YES I REMEMBER YOU. You probably don't want me giving you survey answers. spent $6k to have my chimney rebuilt to get the "warranty". It took a month to get y'all to finish the fire wall in the fireplace because you ran out of the panels.
Then when it was finished the panels had different patterns. I had to install the gas pipe and 2 months later the bottom panel cracked (the original reason for the repair). When I called to get it fixed under warranty I was told that was not a "warranty" item.
Fixed it for $30 worth of fireplace seam sealer
I just hope the rest of the work you did and other materials used are better than what was in the place that burns the wood
Response from the owner 19 minutes ago

We remember you too Miguel. Panels are not guaranteed and carry no warranty as you were told and is in our warranty paperwork. That $30 you spent also is voiding your manufacturer warranty.

We’ll the total job WAS SOLD TO ME AS FULLY COVERED.
AND to your point of me making my own repair is voiding a warranty.
Come on. You just SAID IT WASNT UNDER WARRANTY.
THEN, not being able to respond to your response to my experience with your company. If funny.
Luckily I saved the link. Because I responded back to the first text with Exactly what I posted to the survey. I only posted it to the survey because I got another notification of you wanting me to post.
So maybe your customer service team needs a refresher course.
    Thank you for your time.
Please don’t reach out to me again.

This morning a lil after 7:20 at Mayhill and McKinney in Denton, one of your drivers almost caused a massive car accident because they last minute decided they needed to turn left at an area where there isn’t a lane to safely do so and without a blinker. My son and I among other vehicles were very very close to being rear ended. Please have a talk with this driver.

The sells process and installation were very bumpy. The salesperson quit after several misfires including incorrect SOW, lack of selection of vent color and more. It took several trips to get it right. Then, just this past week, I received an automatic email from Chad Murray, the owner requesting at we pay nearly $300 for an annual inspection or our warranty was going to be voided. This was never discussed during the sales process. The other issue is that the job was not started nor completed until late Jan of this year, which is only 6 months since the install. It also states that my warranty would be voided in September if I don't opt in for this inspection, which is only 8++ months after the installation. I was told I had a 5 year warranty and am now being asked for monies never disclosed during the entire process or at the very least, no quote was provided. The crew were "nice" but the process and communications were far from professional. BTW, they only did brick work and a new top. I used Jacksons to do the new gas logs. This is a scam. I've called them twice and requested the GM return my call. He never has. The name they gave me was John Mashad. I also responded to Chads email and again, no response.
