You should hire this crew if you're OK with being overpriced for a mediocre job. David (sorry no last name) was very rude and dismissive to boot. Buyer beware.

I suspect the bad review of Alexi Smith is a friend or family member of a competitor seeing how an owner of Nor Tex did not recognize the name. My niece, Laine Sowell, referred these guys to me and am I glad she did. I have been using them for several years. They do much more than mow grass. They plant flowers for me in the fall and spring. They trim my shrubbery and even planted grass for me when cinch bugs decided to make a meal in part of my front yard. Thanks Laine for the referral. Thanks to Drew, Nick, David and their crews!!

We recently purchased a house that was unoccupied for over a year. The yard was neglected, overgrown and many things were near death. The Nor-Tex team helped us create a new vision for the property and is bringing the yard back to life. During the great freeze, Nor-Tex was very proactive and wrapped the Wisteria trunks to protect them. Thanks to their forethought, the vines were saved and we have beautiful full growth this spring.

Great company with great service! We used nor-tex for an install on edging, flowers and plants and ivy last fall. The ivy is growing beautifully and the nor-tex team chose the right flowers and plants for the seasons. They were friendly, punctual and efficient. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I love that our lights are always up early in the season (so early my wife won’t let me turn them on until we aren’t the first on the block). The lights are always really sharp, with straight lines and quality bulbs. When we had a storm come by and knock some down this year the Higher Ground team was out the next day fixing it for free; they do spot checks throughout the season. I happen to be out of town when they took the lights back down, but we didn’t even need to be there, they put them in our bins, safe for next year!

I switched to Higher Ground for holiday lighting from another provider in the Park Cities area.
Higher Ground provided a professional on-site estimate, quality installers, same day repair and timely removal. There are a lot of guys that jump into holiday lighting but few that provide year around lighting, landscaping and seasonal lighting. When professionalism matters they are the right choice.

I have worked with the company since 2014 and the materials they use are always the best. Constant improvement has also been a main focus. I look forward to installing Christmas lights every year and I’m sure you’ll see me there next year too!
