Great job trimming my seven live oaks!

I used Holcomb to assist with a medium-sized branch that had broken and was at risk of falling. The admin who answered my call said that a crew was already in my neighborhood so it was possibly to coordinate same-day service. The branch was cut at the fence line and fell to the ground with the whole process lasting 15 minutes. I received a bill for $600 for "Trees - back yard: remove broken limb". When I called to better understand the bill, I was told that the price was originally $725 but the admin lowered it before sending it to me. She claimed they had the crew working nearby pulled off that job to come to my house and then paid them overtime when they returned to finish the other job, so my bill was covering all of that disruption. I never consented to pay for another job's overtime. The entire process lacked transparency and the price was unreasonable for 15 minutes of straightforward tree branch removal. Arborilogical Services in Wylie, TX quoted $1200 for my entire property. If you care about your money and its value, do not use Holcomb.

They did an amazing job thinning and trimming the crown of our very large live oak tree. A job well done!!

Promptly in schedule, very neat and careful not to damage the roof or deck.

Pruned a large Live Oak. It was quick and thorough. Cleaned up afterwards.

I chose them after watching them do work in the neighborhood. They looked like they knew what they were doing. They do, especially when it comes to charging a ridiculous amount of $ for light pruning with a pole pruner. Next to *no* aerial work. I was specific about wanting small, new limbs that were nearing or overhanging power lines to be cut down-- I *didn't care* about how balanced or aesthetic it looked to the boss. My tree. My power lines. MY money! I'm the BOSS. The crew seemed sour and surly about having to cut them down. Never again.

Tony came out and explained the issues of our trees, and what could be done to help. Nate and his helper seemed to be very thorough in the work that was to be done and then explained that to us.

I am very happy with the service Holcomb Tree Service provided. They were very professional, did a great job and cleaned up everything beautifully when done.

These people came on my property without my permission and butchered my 70 year old pecan tree. Horrible, Horrible company. Next time I will call the police.

Great job thinning out a 100 year old live oak. Through clean up when finished. Have been them for 20 years

May 16, 2025, 9:10 am, southbound on Hillcrest in Dallas: while driving stop looking at your clipboard so you don't veer a foot out of your lane in morning traffic. If that's the company's view on safety endangering others while driving, wouldn't trust you for doing tree work.

Best in class! Extremely knowledgeable & professional. Been using them for 10+ years with multiple properties. A++ service too.

The guys were professional and efficient and kind. It was a big plus that they had a woodchipper and I think the price was fair. I would call them again.
