I cannot recommend Leatherface Tree Service highly enough for their work on our two massive oak trees. From start to finish, their team demonstrated a level of professionalism, expertise, and respect for the trees that is truly rare.

The Challenge: Our two heritage oaks had developed long, heavy limbs that were a concern during high winds. Our primary goal was to reduce the risk of failure while absolutely preserving the natural health and structure of the trees. We were adamant that we did not want "lions-tailing" – a harmful practice where interior branches are stripped, leaving all the weight at the ends and making trees more susceptible to storm damage.

Leatherface understood our concerns. Their arborist took the time to explain how end-weight reduction would achieve our goals by strategically shortening the longer limbs back to appropriate lateral branches, reducing the leverage and stress on the entire limb.
