I have used Big Bird several times and they are great! I have very tall trees and they always take the time and care to trim them appropriately and safely. Quick personal service.

I hired Big Bird Tree Service to replace a dead tree. Instead of a tree they installed a shrub. Now they are claiming i asked for a shrub, which is a total fabrication. So disappointed, I had hoped they would do the right thing, but no. In addition the older woman that works in the office is very rude, and argumentative. Use this company at your on risk, perhaps you will have a better experience, as for me it's left a serious bad taste in my mouth.

I’ve been in my home now for almost 5 years and I have a large Red Oak tree estimated to be about 70+ years old. I’ve had my tree trimmed twice. The most recent, early spring this year. I’ve had about 3 fairly large limbs to fall from the tree since being in the home and each time I was nervous about the probability of it happening again. The most recent (pretty thick limb) fell a week ago and landed between other branches where it hung, until today. To say I was stressed about the situation would be putting it mildly. It’s the only tree, nicely positioned in my front yard and has provided shade and the natural aesthetic for the home’s landscaping. A friend of mine has long encouraged me to call Big Bird Tree Service for tree maintenance over the years, but twice I used other companies. When the limb fell this past week I decided to give Big Bird Tree Service a call. I was a nervous wreck this week!! Mr. Philips came to my home (twice) to address all of the many concerns and questions I had. He thoroughly explained the different options I had and gave me reasonable prices to help in my decision making. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have met Mr. Philips!!! He has the most beautiful and kind spirit!!! He explained everything thoroughly to me and he gave me a GREAT price for the work we decided on. I will DEFINITELY use Big Bird Tree Service for all my tree maintenance going forward and I’ll recommend them to anyone who is looking for awesome service at a reasonable price!!! The crew showed up today and did an AWESOME job!!!They cut down major limbs that hung over my roof and yard. The left my property clean and my tree still looks good!!! I work in healthcare and customer service has become everything to me! Mr. Philips and the Big Bird Tree crew deserve a meritorious award for customer service and work!!! #yourforevercustomer

Wonderful service! I had to have 2 trees removed at separate times and they were so kind and helpful! I appreciate them helping me at terrible times!

They did not respect a no soliciting sign. If they are unable to follow such a simple instruction I would not be able to trust them with my trees.

From first contact to cleanup, our experience has been outstanding. The 4 man crew that came to our home was courteous and highly professional. Team leader made sure we were satisfied with the work done. They worked quickly and with skill. Final touch was complete cleanup of our backyard. I would not hesitate to use their services again. Thank you, Mr. Phillips and Big Bird.

Charged me an extra 500 after I told him what my budget was for the project. Don’t like surprise charges after the work is done. update owner called and removed the extra charges nice guy just didn’t like the surprise but he did attempt to make it right

The crew was excellent. They have done a great job. All the guys have been very nice.
One thing I didn't like is their internal communication. Mr. Philip came out to provide an estimate. We still haven't heard from them for one week. Even we were told that they supposed to come the following week. Than we received a call that they wanted to come today, which was impossible as we have also a schedule. So we scheduled an appointment and agreed that we pay cash.
The cash was handed to the crew and we got a receipt. One day later, we received a call, and they asking how we would like to pay. We would say there is room to improve internal communication skills regarding scheduling and payments.

I can’t say enough to express my gratitude for the amazing service and pricing. Upon calling, I was able to get someone out quickly for a quote on removing two dead trees and cleaning up some very old, tall trees even encroaching onto a neighbor’s roof. A big big job. I was quoted a substantially low, incredibly fair price - the lowest quote of easily half a dozen I’d received from other notably “fair, low priced” companies shared with me. The workers showed up promptly and did an exceptional job of clearing up after themselves and hauling the debris. My only negative, and it’s not really a complaint - I wish they had checked in with me before leaving at the end of the day. They had to wrap up because they lost daylight and got a later start in the afternoon. I still had trees that hadn’t been addressed so I was left guessing if/when they’d be coming back. They did, bright and early the next morning but with no indication. There was really not a ton of communication with the office staff and the service technicians it seemed as I couldn’t get a clear idea or even a window for time frames of anything (scheduled appointment, if/when they’d come back, etc). My only suggestion would be perhaps even just a text to let customers know when you’re on the way would be super helpful, because everything else was top tier. I’ll definitely be using them again.

I apologize for the late review (6/10), but life is finally getting back to the “new” normal after the Dallas storms of 5/28/24.
After sunrise on the morning of the 28th, and I could see the damage a fallen tree had made to my power and fiber optic line, I immediately called Big Bird.
My response address was recalled from their database and within 2 hours Abigail and her team were on my property. Tree cut-up and removal to the front curb was completed within an hour followed by small debris clean up.
I’m a returning customer from the past few years. Big Bird has always responded quickly and efficiently to my emergency calls, as well as other calls for tree services.
A special thank you to Mr Phillip (Owner), and his daughters Ruth and Abigail for their generous contributions to a company well run and jobs well done!

These guys did such an amazing job. I called them on Saturday and it was done by Monday. The price was affordable and the service was top notch. Please do yourself a favor and at least give them a call so they can look at your project and give you an estimate. You'd be hard pressed to find a lower price that does a better job. I called BigBird Tree Service to remove three stomps and two bushes in my front yard. The free estimate was Reasonable, workers was friendly and professional and got the job done quick. After they was done they made it seem like the trees never existed. I definitely be hitting them up for tree service for my backyard. Ty

Excellent job. The crew was professional and very careful with the removal and care of my property. Cut firewood as requested and stacked neatly. Cleanup was completed and looked like they hadn’t even been there. This was a dead live oak removal.

This was the second time I have utilized Mr. Handyman of Dallas. The first was for installation of a ceiling fan. The job was performed impeccably, so I did not hesitate to call for installation of a timer on an electrical switch. Again, the work was performed impeccably. I have an older home, and it has electrical challenges. Those challenges were handled efficiently and carefully. I will not hesitate to contact Mr. Handyman of Dallas for future home repairs and installations.

I had an excellent experience with Ariel as my technician. He did a stupendous job of adhering part of my roof to my shed and fixing the iron railings on my front steps. I am very pleased!!

I had an outstanding experience with Mr. handyman. From the moment I called in to get a quote to the final project, everything was perfect! Ariel installed a cat fence topper to my backyard fence so my cats stay protected. He did such a wonderful job! He made sure to present the final product in a functional and nice looking way. Ariel deserves a 10 stars rating: five stars from my husband and I, and the other five stars (five paws) from my cats. Thank you so very much for this amazing experience! Job very well done!

Assigned handyman was prompt and professional. BUT... If you don't accept their overpriced quote, they charge you $79 fee and leave.

Craig did a great job quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely use him again for another project.
