We were majorly ripped off by this company. We needed some repairs made to our deck, so we called Mr. Handyman. After inspecting the issue, we were told that the work could be done in 8 hours plus materials, so we agreed. At the end of the 8 hour day, our deck was still torn apart and nowhere near complete, so the guy asked to come back the next day to wrap it up in an additional 4 hours. That was not the case. By 6 hours in on day two, the deck was still nowhere near complete. At this point, we were fed up. We called the office, and they assured us that the deck would be completed that day and we would not be charged any additional money. They lied. The guy returned for a third day and tried to charge us $900 for an additional 6 hours of work. We were not going to continue to dump money into a project that should've already been completed, so we told them that we didn't even want them to complete the project. I have included pictures so that you can make your own judgments on whether a job this simple should've taken 20+ hours and cost well over $2k. The first is at the end of day one, and shows the extent of the work being done. The second is after 16+ hours of work.

My garage frame had rotting wood and needed replacing. Craig did a great job demoing, replacing, and repainting. He is very nice and professional. I have plans to have him come back to and do a few more repairs around the house, and I would recommend him for anyone looking for a handyman. I also want to give a shout out to TJ. He is who I spoke to on the phone for scheduling appointments and payment, and he is delightful.

The completed work was perfect, and exactly what we discussed. The time frame estimate was also perfect and the price was reasonable. David was professional and knowledgeable. He worked hard and gave us a wonderful, durable, well constructed finish. We will use this company again if we have any other projects like this. Thank you so much!

I hired Mr. Handyman of Dallas to install trim in my bathroom and adjacent hall. The handyman did a lot of talking and not enough doing. The company charged me for 3 hours. I paid with a check. Upon completion, I later inspected the work. I put a hold on the check as you can see from the pictures the job was not done correctly or completely. Later, a male from the company called me twice to threaten me with putting a lien on my house. I told him that I would release the hold once the job was completed. He said he wasn't sending anyone in. On Friday, the same person called me to threaten to put an arrest warrant in Dallas and Collin Counties for check fraud. I checked with my bank which informed me that putting a stop payment on a check for unsatisfactory service is not a crime.

I’ve never actually used a handyman service before but had a project that we didn’t really want to do ourselves! Jose was really great and sweet and I could tell he wanted to make sure things were done correctly which was greatly appreciated.

We needed some work done on the backyard posts! I'm supremely pleased. The technician Mr. John Stout was extremely affable and professional. I most definitely will be using this business again.

Chris the contractor with Mr Handyman is very profession and cares about the quality of his work. the work is still in progress. I will have to add photos when the project is completed.

Will use this company for multiple services in the future with my rental properties. Very professional and organized. Accept multiple forms of payment and are quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Our technician Jose’ was super qualified, efficient, amenable and did a superlative job hanging large pictures, repairing a bathroom sink faucet, and changing a 12’ ceiling light! Many thanks; we will call no you again!!

Mr. Handyman of Dallas is nothing short of amazing. I’ve had two bids put in by them for work at our house as I am disabled. Juan came in and fixed our shower converting it to a roll in. Not only did he do that, but he also fixed a brick on her porch that was loose, two minutes out of his day he didn’t have to spend, and it was very thoughtful and will never forget him because of that! This is in process work In the photo, but you can see how beautiful it is!

Our repairs are better than new! Better looking, gutter is situated better, roof drains properly into gutters and the vent under the soffit is right sized to breathe properly!

My technician, Chris was wonderful and did a great job. Enjoyed having him around, he kept me updated and did the work in a timely fashion.

Office communication was excellent. Had a couple issues installing a new back door and storm door but everything was taken care of. Will definitely use Mr Handy man in the future. Honest, knowledgeable and good team work. Thank you Arial, John, Matthew and TJ.

Craig installed a new mailbox I had purchased. He supplied all the necessary materials for installation. He did a beautiful job. I now have the straightest, sturdiest mailbox on the entire road! I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work.

Charges $734 for replacing two piece of wood on the fence.
Charges $22 on credit card convenience fee.
Charges $30 on material even I bought all the materials.
Not moving forward with this company.

Craig is personable and trustworthy. So far, he has done a good job although the mess is more than I expected. (I probably should have expected it though.) I would have thought that he would bring help to get this job over with much more quickly but by tackling this job alone, it stretches out the time required to complete it. Since the job isn't yet completed, we will see if he can finish up and stay inside the quoted price.
Upon his return to complete the work and clean up, he did a great job and we discussed more work which he quoted. I will definitely be a return customer.

David did an awesome job!! He was courteous, punctual, knowledgeable, and detailed in his work. Very satisfied with final results and will definitely use again!

Not a good experience. Their internet content needs to be corrected to what they actually can do. The phone representatives need to be trained on what a bathroom remodel involves and what their team can actually do. I confirmed on the phone and they said yes they do it all but when they came out for the $75 estimate (which feels like a money grab scam now) the tech told me they could only do demo and the tile work. "I am just one guy so you would be better off getting a cabinet guy". They can't do granite work nor plumbing nor hardware install. And then proceeded to argue with me about what was said on the phone call he was not on. If I had not been charged the $75 I would have just passed this off as a wasted 15 minutes of my life but you can't waste my time and take $75. Thats just wrong.

They came to repair a hole caused by water damage. They were flexible on scheduling and very nice. It did go a little above estimate but thats why its an estimate. Honestly, he worked hard, was friendly, and did a good job. Im very pleased. These are sort of a before and after. The after pic is before its painted though, thats my fault for not getting one post paint. It looks literally like new now. Cant tell there was ever a hole.

From first call to finish of the project every contact was personable, professional, and accurate. Ariel did an excellent job repairing an old broken joist in my office. Looks like it never happened.
I will definitely use Mr Handyman services again.

Craig was very friendly and did a great job on insulating our pipes in an outside wall and I give his work 5 stars. The pricing of the Mr. Handyman company is what I consider very high. However, they did come the morning after we called, so they were quick to respond.
