House Cleaning reviews in Dallas, Texas

I care for my special needs son at home. Becoming overheated can cause serious health issues for him. It was panic time for me when my central air went out last night. A friend referred me to Lee. Lee realized how desperately I needed speedy service. He was at my home within the hour and he very quickly had my unit back up and running. It is a blessing to have someone like Lee on the job—not just knowledgeable and skilled in his trade, but also caring and compassionate in his heart.
My son and I appreciate you, Mr. Simpson. -
Lee was excellent , house wasn’t cooling came in and fixed it in 20 min . He is very nice and knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing . Ask for Lee he will get the job done .

I would recommend this company to everyone in the Waco area. He came out same day and had to get a part then he had unit working the very next day. He was so much help and knowledgeable. Once again I recommend then above and beyond

This company came over right away upon hearing I had an AC leak. Very prompt and diagnosed it while explaining the issue every step of the way. I highly recommend Simpson Appliance Repair!
-
He told me he could repair it and everything would be fine and dandy. I just wanted a quick fix because it is hot outside. $3,500 later, it did not work, AND it took a week of back and forth. Neither quick nor effective. The AC is still broke and now I'm out the money to repair it, the time, and I have to buy a whole new unit anyway. I feel dumb trusting him and I should have done more research and gotten a second opinion. Learn from my tuition: If your machine is older than 10 years old- replace it!

Thorough, professional and informative, Mr. Simpson took care of both of our AC units and provided excellent recommendations for future maintenance. He was prompt, helpful and friendly, it was a delight to go through his business. I'm happy to utilize his services in the future!

After reading so many positive reviews we were really excited to have Lee come and fix our AC unit that same day.
The frustation for us came from Lee telling us he knew what the problem was and how to fix it, then when things didn't work he would make excuses and say our unit is too small for our house. Which if that was the case why didn't he say that at first?
He also did several unprofessional things over the week it took him to repair our unit. Just a few were:
- Left things undone and unfinished (we had to hire somebody else to check his work)
- Demanded payment via Zelle and watched me log into my bank account to set up the payment.
- Left several times to go buy common tools like wrenches
- After the first visit he would arrive hours late -
Unfortunately after having Lee out to two of our rentals, we are having to report vandalism and trespassing. He performed unauthorized work at one without giving us an estimate first. At this property the only thing we authorized was the inspection/trip charge. We didn't know any work had been fine or have the opportunity to decide our course of action until he charged us $650 for freon we can't be sure we'd needed. Note: Evergreen AC inspected our unit 3 weeks prior and two weeks after and said there weren't any leaks or issues with our unit at all and the that freon is never needed unless they're is one. Additionally, what he did did not resolve our issue. We ended up needing old ducts wrapped/replaced. We felt scammed about the freon, but didn't pursue anything further with the company.
Our second rental experienced a clogged line and leak. We called a few companies and reluctantly agreed to have Lee out to inspect this one because he was the only one who could come out first thing the next day. To be safe, we group texted and emailed with him and our property manager confirming the scheduled inspection and that no work was to be done that was not authorized. He didn't end up going to our property for four days and was unresponsive to texts. At this point we scheduled to have Evergreen come back, but then Lee showed up. We are remote owners and our property manager allowed him access to our property. This second property is two stories and has two units. He gave us a quote for adding $950 worth of freon to both and said he'd need to cut into the wall to better access one unit. Suspicious due to the information regarding freon we'd learned since he came out to the first property, we decided to do more research and get a second opinion before deciding what to do. The next day our property manager arrived at the house to find Lee inside again. This time he was unauthorized and was trespassing. She'd noticed someone was there on the security camera and called into the house to see who it was at which point he came running downstairs unable to give an explanation about why he was there. This made her feel unsafe. After he left, she went upstairs to find a he partially cut into our wall! We did not authorize any work or return visit! Additionally a large AC duct was cut and almost completely severed from the unit. Later that day Evergreen AC came out and did an inspection. They informed us that neither unit needed freon. This seems to confirm that we were scammed by Lee at the first property and he was attempting to scam us at the second. Evergreen also confirmed that the duct could not have broken like that on its own. We had a duct company come out to repair/replace the duct. They said wire cutters or a similar tool would have to have been used to cut the duct and it was apparent that it was an act of vandalism. Unfortunately Lee did not respond to emails or texts or requests for compensation. The total cost to us at the second property was $621 for the duct, $200 for the wall repair, $100 for the clean up (since it's a rental property and we're remote, we have a housekeeping team,) and $158 for having to have two more companies come out to assess damages. We also requested a $650 refund for the unauthorized freon he said he added to the first property. This is a total of $1721 in unauthorized work and vandalism assessment and repair not to mention significant delay in our AC repairs and concern for our safety. He did agree to come do repairs for free when a police report was mentioned which we declined because we did trust him at this point and did not feel safe. I wish Lee had listened and communicated better and we could consider it a big misunderstanding, but his avoidance of our attempts to reach out, the quotes and inspections of other companies contradicting his diagnosis and the fact that he entered our property assuming no one would be there and started cutting into our wall and equipment is willful trespassing and vandalism. -
I live in Marlin tx and my AC went out Friday night. I called 6 places in Waco and no one would answer except Mr. Lee Simpson. He was fast, very knowledgeable and very reasonable on price. My blower motor went out and he was able to find me the parts and had my AC back working by Sunday morning. I would recommend to anyone in the Waco area, specially in Marlin.

January 5,2024 After a long time of frustating attempts to fix our A/C, I wanted to try someone new. I made a few calls and decided to try Mr. Simpson. After his diagnosis Mr. Simpson, said that our compressor was shot. After talking to him, I decided to replace the entire system. Our home was built by a major home builder, who cut every conceivable corner. The A/C was undersized, the pull down stairs were so small that the air handler would not pass through, bracing in the attic had to be removed, and there were wiring issues. Mr. Simpson, overcame all of these problems and installed a new, properly sized unit, that works great! I am very happy that I chose Mr Simpson, he was on time every day and did us a great job.

Very prompt service on one of the coldest days during a winter freeze. Lee was very patient and came out to my Mcgregor home on time. He waited to make sure the home heated up properly and took the time to explain how the unit functions. He even called later in the day to make sure everything was still running well. I would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience with Lee Simpson. I own several rental properties and have dealt with many AC repair men over the years and he is the best. Honest and cost efficient, can't beat that!

If you value your HVAC system working correctly and being installed properly, do not use this company. I hesitate to even say contractor because through all the research I’ve done on licensed HVAC contractors in the state of TX he’s does not have a contractor license (which is not legal in the state of TX). He is not reputable and not knowledgeable at all. He installed a new system for us and from the start I had a bad feeling on his competency. Two weeks later and we’re still dealing with the aftermath of his shoddy work, we’ve had multiple refrigerant leaks he claimed to fix one only for another one to arise, in each instance he has refused to acknowledge that his workmanship is poor quality and that it must be some other issue and not his work. We’ve had haddix heating and air come out (fantastic company, highly recommend) and told us that because of the poor quality of his work that it’s gonna cost us an additional 2k to correct his issues so we can keep our house cool in this heat wave. He does not have any type of labor warranty which means that he doesn’t stand behind any type of repair he makes. He required up front payment for a system install which honestly should have been the first red flag for me, second being that there was no agreed upon contract on the installation, I’m assuming there was no permit with the city pulled which is why the turnaround was so quick, vented refrigerant to atmosphere twice which is a huge EPA violation. He’s proceeded to pull the card of I’m spending more to fix all these problems that I caused and now you need to pay me more money to fix the issue that he caused. Please find a reputable company that is without a doubt properly licensed and insured that has a labor warranty guaranteeing that if an issue is the companies fault they will correct the issue whether or not they lose money on the job.

Lee is now my new go-to for any HVAC issues in Waco. He was extremely responsive and effective with his communication. After having another company come out twice to "try" to resolve an issue with my heating, Lee diagnosed it over the phone with a description and had it resolved in less than 48 hours (only because we had to wait for a part). I would highly recommend Simpson Air and will use again for any future issues.

We just bought a new house that came with a home warranty. I can clearly see tears in two of our ducts in the attic which is causing loss of cool air. Selected by Choice Home Warranty, Mr. Simpson drove 2 hours to our home and confirmed the diagnosis of leaky air ducts for a service fee of $75, required by the Home Warranty. He walked all through the attic with me and shared with me how improper the installation was from the company who made the initial installation when the home was built. He said when they joined the two 25ft ducts together they did it incorrectly which has caused them to start splitting apart. He said he would recommend to the Choice Home Warranty to cover the replacement of the two ducts. My claim was denied because he submitted the reason for duct tears were "due to animals". Never once did we discuss there was a possibility of any animals roaming in the attic and tearing the ductwork. I called and texted him numerous times for him to never pick up the phone or return my text. I just wanted clarification on why he submitted false information.
