I have used Earth Kind Services for several years now. They always put a generous topping on the lawn to help it stay healthy. In October of 2020, I tried a new service that had the topping and fescue grass seed since my backyard was looking beat up from two big dogs. Within a few weeks the grass was growing in and looked ok, but we had some spots that appeared not to get enough seed. Beau and his team came out and redid the whole lawn--they could have just hit those spots. With proper watering it all filled in nicely. All while the big dogs ran around on it. I was a bit concerned with a cool season fescue in that I would be mowing the grass in the winter but to my surprise it really did not grow once we hit end of Dec. and then started to grow in early March again. It stayed green all winter long--even during the big Texas freeze that got down to zero degrees, held up to the big dogs and still looked great. We do have a few one foot round spots where dogs like to pee that are brown, so not perfect but much better than the Bermuda and weeds that were back there. We will see how well it holds up during the summer if at all. Did well in shade under oak trees as well. The owner, Beau, is a very nice guy that is easy to work with, respectful and customer service oriented.

Beau’s crew came out today 5/27/22 and applied their 50/50 compost/sand mix to my over 14k SF yard. They were originally scheduled to come out on 6/16/22 but they had an opening for today so Beau emailed and texted me yesterday asking if they could do it today. I said yes of course as I needed it bad. His crew was professional, explained the product and process, and cleaned up good. Can’t wait to see the results in a couple/few weeks! I would highly recommend this company and their services to anybody!

Beau and his team did a great job top dressing and helping me level and area in the yard that had settled. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommended if you need help with an old yard or have thinning grass.

We have used Earthkind Services for many years now and have always had a beautiful yard. The past couple of winters, plus our new 65# lab fur baby took its toll on our back yard. I called Beau out to ask what we could do to try and save the lawn in addition to our regular fertilizing. We were both skeptical it could be saved, but he gave me several options we could try short of putting in all new grass(because I can’t keep my dogs off of it to let it take hold). I went with the premium organic compost and Organic Lawn Fertilization using exclusively Microlife
Organic/Biological Fertilizers - 4 times a year (Spring,
Summer, Fall, & Winter). I can tell you it hasn’t been 3 weeks since the application, but where dead roots were and dirt only, I actually have little sprouts of grass coming up! I am hoping this is a sign that I won’t have to re-sod the back. Beau was very honest about whether the back could be saved and didn’t and never does pressure me about what to do. The front yard didn’t suffer as bad as the back because four dogs weren’t tearing it up but I still had them put 1 layer of compost on it as opposed to the 2 layers in back. I love that they are on time and notify me by text when they get here so I can unlock the gate and secure my dogs. I love that he answers my questions in email or via text within a day. I trust Beau to make the right decisions for our lawn. He uses on organic which is a plus for us with our dogs. Anyone who uses a company they aren’t happy with anymore for fertilizing and other things, I’d recommend to at least give Beau a call or check out his website. I don’t usually write reviews unless I am truly happy and truly satisfied with a product or service. I am both of those with Earthkind.

Since changing to organic composting and fertilizing by Earth Kind Services our lawn looks so much better! It just made sense to me that spraying chemicals on top of our lawn wasn't going to get the same results as feeding the soil with organic materials. Earth Kind team is easy to work with and very professional. Highly recommend!

A professional job from start to finish. Beau Propes took the time to inspect and clearly explain our lawn soil condition, his recommendations, and why. He was always easy to work with, adapting the application schedule based on weather (rain) and other landscape work we were having done. He and his team always showed up when promised and on time.

The application process of Top Dressing and Soil Conditioner was very efficient. His crew took the time to first walk the property with me and confirm what the plan was and what was to be treated. They then went straight to work, completing the treatment and cleaning up afterwards.

Beau of Earth Kind Services provides top notch organic solutions for your lawn. Our lawn was more than 50% gone due to erosion, tree growth and drought. Beau amended the soil and laid the most beautiful zoysia. Our backyard is now gorgeous. He had previous installed a native stone area to complement a garden area I was installing. The work was done very well, in a courteous manner with timely updates. I highly recommend Earth Kind Services for your lawn and garden needs.

I shopped around looking for a professional service to perform Top Dressing on my existing residential lawn. I found Earth Kind Services and spoke to sale rep Beau who was responsive and professional, and he met me at my home to discuss the work. He showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. He reviewed my lot from google earth maps and already had an estimate of my lot square footage. We agreed on a service and price and scheduled the work. The crew (Tristen and Jessie) arrived on scheduled date and on time. Great guys and very meticulous in their work in getting the job done correctly. They have top notch truck and spreader equipment as well. They cleaned up afterwards, gave me some lawn care advice regarding watering general care and then they were on their way. I also purchased their quaterly organic fertilizer program, and look forward to seeing what this program (compost + innoculant + feedings) will do to boost the health of my lawn. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking such services.

The folks at Earth Kind are very helpful and they will consult with you and explain what their service can do for your yard. Weather allowing, they do what they say, when they say they will do it. Always reliable.

We had a great experience having our lawn top-dressed by Earth Kind. Beau was great to work with and always quick to respond to emails or calls. The day after our service it rained 3.5 inches in a couple of hours and we lost a lot of soil. I called to see what could be done and they came back out to fill in what was lost and only charged a nominal fee. I highly recommend them!

Our yard was SO bare. Sod companies were quoting $7000 to replace it. I contacted Beau after seeing before and after pictures on the website. He came out and added top soil and Bermuda seed. Our yard is covered in thick beautiful grass not even 6 weeks later. We tried to reseed ourselves last summer—it wasn’t even 1/4 as successful. Our yard looks like we did resod, and we saved so much money! The price is so fair, and the results are amazing! The service guys are professional and prompt. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Earth Kind organic top dressing (or soil prep if you are seeding/getting new sod) is the absolute best thing you could do for your yard. Our grass has never looked so beautiful and healthy. Beau and the team are super friendly, honest and know what they are doing. If your neighbor's grass always looks better than yours or if your yard is just not as healthy as you think it could be, give Earth Kind a call.

Earth Kind is my choice because I want only organic compost on my lawn, no chemicals. Just remember to water the compost in before having the lawn mowed. I failed to that this time but in spite of that the grass is looking better already so I’ll always use Earth Kind.

My St Augustine lawn was getting overrun by Bermuda grass. The top layer of compost helped the lawn retain water better (no run off), and loosened up the clay base soil we have in Dallas. It was magic. My lawn had the best year I've ever seen. I've had them out to the house 3 times now (2 top soil and 1 mulch for the beds) and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend not only the soil for the lawn, but specifically Earth Kind themselves.
The owner is classy, responsive, and organized. He even authorized applications of some cool new soil-based fertilizer product for free to address a bare patch that was developing - and it worked like a charm.
The guys that have some to property gave watering instructions, lawn care tips, and just good information about my lawn. The are courteous, helpful, and calmly addressed any questions I developed.
It's rare to find a lawn care company that focuses on just a specific service so they can do it perfectly. Earth Kind has mastered their craft and my lawn is a testament to the topsoil compost being worth every penny.

Was great! Very nice and professional. He explained all services in detail. Once I decided what I wanted, he and his crew delivered. He kept me abreast of the situation even with a backup plan (as the day of the job it rained after the first application); ride the rain out or complete the job when there was a break in the rain. Told me what to do and look for in the following weeks. Very friendly demeanor! I would highly recommend!!
