A truly nice garden center with a good selection of plants, native and otherwise. Spend your money here!

Lots of trees and bushes and knowledge, needs more smaller plants with color. Can be pricey, just depends. Hours are not friendly for working folks on weekdays, kinda hard to get to and parking is limited.

Great people. Answered all of our questions and very knowledgeable about trees and shrubs.

They have a great selection of plants you won't find a lot of other places and maintain a lot of inventory. It is more expensive than a big box store, but I think the quality is worth it.

Love seeing and relying on the same staff year after year; knowledgeable and good, local selection. Also pretty good pricing compared to others.

When I showed a picture of a plant I had admired in a yard a few blocks away they identified it and then put me on a waiting list. When they went to Louisiana and restocked they called to let me know. The plant is thriving in my yard.

Meador’s customer service is outstanding! Always kind, always helpful. More than a month ago I was here looking for a specific plant. This week they called me to let me know they have it in stock again.

This nursery has a great selection. The price is great too. Don't waste your time over at Noles across the street, that place has terrible customer service and a lot of dead plants. I am a landscaper, so I frequent all of the local nurseries.

Experience was AWESOME! Met with owner Ted Meador and his lead designer for a job interview and both men were courteous, professional and incredibly welcoming. An attitude at a business usually originates from the top and trickles down so I'm sure the rest of the staff handles their conduct in the same manner. Products are going to be more expensive then the big box chains but you're paying for excellent customer service and a high-end product that the big stores are incapable of producing. Two thumbs up!!👍🏻👍🏽👍🏿👍

Very nice nursery. Not sure about the prices but they may have been a little on the high side but the shrubs I got look great. Minus one star for seemingly high prices so 4 stars overall.

Great selection of perennials, herbs, and some native plants. Some unique items. Quality is good, plants are healthy. Prices ok, higher than big box store but lower than Calloway's. Only one cash register. Small parking lot gets full.

I went to your store front and wanted to purchase something for my back yard. I spoke to a young lady.. not sure but I think her name was Amber she had a beautiful long braid. I told her I have full sun in my back yard and haven't had much luck growing things. She recommended purchasing these Texas hibiscus 🌺.. and I have to say this is the second season they came back strong and beautiful.. I AM SO HAPPY 😊 😃 😀

We used Meador for a backyard design after a pool build. Marshall was our designer and while the consult and install schedules were pretty packed, we were thrilled with the final result. There was great attention to detail and the 3 guys who installed did such a good job. It's been 3 months now and the plants are thriving. Will be excited to see it in another year when it fills in. I thought their pricing was reasonable too.

Some of the employees are quite knowledgeable. The prices are high. I wish they had more organic. The selection is not as good as I'd like it to be. It's fairly hit or miss, but it's local and quaint and it has a nice energy. Also, it's a Denton standard, an old business, and owned by a Christian family. We do hit them up first every time we want something, but we do find other out-of-town nurseries more well-stocked and reliable.

First of all to start off the staff here is so friendly , Ashley helped me find all the plants I needed and wanted without hassle , she was extremely knowledgeable about the species and care processes of all the plants on the premises. Honestly cannot say I’ve had a better experience anywhere else. Definitely going to be recommending my friends and family. Thank you meadors nursery and thank you Ashley for the wonderful experience:)

Love this private nursery! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep a diverse variety of plants and trees in stock. They have Texas heat-tolerant plants and they are usually on healthy condition. (Can't help it if the Texas heat gets to some of them.) Lots of pots and garden statues as well. We are becoming regular customers.

I have spent soooooo much money here lol. Super great staff and I could spend hours in their propogation greenhouse just looking at the flowers.
