The past couple of years I've had Earth Kind Services add new top soil to my lawn. Given the compaction of the soil in my lawn and the clay beneath it, my lawn seemed pretty bland and flat.

This is a service that I didn't know I needed until I saw the results. The yard is rich green, thick and did extremely well coming out of dormancy. I was given a pretty cruddy yard by our a builder but over the past couple of years using this service, it's one of the best in the neighborhood.

The owner and employees are extremely professional and helpful. They had come and gone while I was at work and did a really good job of cleaning up.

I highly recommend using them if you have any insecurities or doubts about your lawn. Let them help you as they helped me.

we just had our first application completed, compost plus fertilizer applied. Prompt, efficient and friendly staff! Looking forward to see results as each season passes.

Our St. Augustine grass starting developing bare spots last fall. We tried to stay the course with our lawn care company. But with each treatment, we watched the bare spots spread and increase in size. The present lawn care company admitted not knowing how to fix the problem and quoted us to resod the entire lawn.

Upon calling Earth Kind, they diagnosed the condition and set up a plan to revive our lawn. We applied top dressing and then waited over the winter while the grass went dormant.

This spring we have been so pleased as the grass is now filling in, is a beautiful green color (not yellow/brown). We are now using Earth Kind for all of our lawn care services.

Earth Kind Services has been feeding my lawn for the past 3 years with a topsoil and compost blend that truly makes a difference to how my lawn looks each year.
With the soil and extreme weather conditions we have here in North Texas, the clay soil needs added nutrients to help your grass looking green and healthy. I typically opt for a double pass and aerate about a week or two prior to application for best results.
Beau has also been great to work with and wants to make sure that the job is done right, even if it means coming back if you aren’t fully satisfied. I would highly recommend using Earth Kind Services, especially if you have invested time and money into your lawn. I have Zoysia Zeon grass so if you have that type of lawn, I can tell you first hand that it works!

This is our second year using Earth Kind Services. They aerated, seeded with long fescue, and applied a special mixed organic compost. We did this in November 2024 and enjoyed beautiful green grass ALL Winter & Spring long while the rest of the neighborhood was ugly brown. The two gentlemen that performed the work were very courteous, professional, and project focused. After spreading the organic compost, the driveway and sidewalks were pretty dirty. They blew off the excess, but the finer elements stuck to the pavement. They used brushes, pressurized water, and a blower to clean it up. Look at the pix.

Bull Landscaping did an excellent job mowing my 1-acre residential yard in Sanger. The mowing was even, the edging was clean, and they paid attention to the details that really make the yard look finished. They were professional, hardworking, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. Nice local garden and nursery center in Denton/Argyle. Seasonal flowers and plenty of perennial and shrubbery for small home landscape needs. Shop local business first.

Skip all the others.. go here if u want super reasonable prices for large sized plants that are of way higher quality. It is our go to when we plan to plant.

By far the best nursery in the Denton area.
Lots of natives, herbs, and other plants that will actually do well in Denton. The staff is very knowledgeable, especially Kathleen.

We wanted to redo our retaining walls around our pool . Ted Meador arranged it and the crew did a marvelous job. If you want a high quality job you can't find a better place and that includes the plants and garden products.

Absolutely amazing service from the young girls (didn't get their nam but young blondes and a red head). Patient and go over and above everytime I am there! Will definitely go back!

We've used Meadors for landscape design and installation in the past. Their guys who do rock work and hardscapes are the best in Denton. It's well worth the extra cost compared to others. For plants and flowers, we still visit Meadors once or twice per year, but we've found that Four Seasons on University seems to have a more consistent selection of great plants. Both are very good.

My favorite place to get plants and trees in the Denton area! They are so friendly, have a fantastic selection, and everything is always healthy with good pricing. Highly recommend!!!

Great place for beautiful plants and garden accessories. The staff there are wonderful. The pots in the photo were purchased elsewhere.

I do not shop anywhere else for gardening needs! Not only is the selection of transplants (vegetables, herbs, and flowers) outstanding, but you CANNOT beat the service. They are very knowledgeable and happy to help.
