Rude and unhelpful staff. I specifically sought out this business because I heard they have excellent customer service. When I walked in there were 3 people behind the desk and nobody else in the store. Nobody asked me if I needed anything or bothered to engage with me in any way.

After approaching and asking for what I was looking for, the only response I got was “nope”. No effort to tell me where I might find the product, or to attempt to say they could order it, nothing. Just “nope”. All I needed was a simple adapter from one style plug to another; something that you would think an electrical supply company would have or at least know where to get. “Nope.”

Do I recommend this company or this location for your electrical supply needs? Nope.

I love this place these guys always take good care of ya. I get a little coffee in the morning get my parts and get my day started great. Billy, Jon and Tom are great, very resourceful guys. Jordan's always there to help too. I will always be an Elliott's customer.

Got treated like I was bothering them. I've got an account with them. I think I'll probably NOT use them any more so that they're no longer inconvenienced by my need for materials for my customers. BTW.. Early afternoon, Thursday 8.26.21. The kid was alright. The older guy apparently did not appreciate the fact that I needed him to look something up for me, as if he had evvery item in the store memorized. That's pretty good. I won't be back.

I used Denton Electric twice since moving to Denton. The first time they installed a plug for my wife's EV. Did great work and came in under the quote. The 2 time I had them install a 50amp plug for my RV. They, again did great work and at a reasonable price. In addition, I had a light fixture that was acting strange. They found a wire in the main panel that was not secured properly. Fixed the issue. The only issue I have with them is they do not have a way to pay online! Highly recommend.

We worked with them to address a situation that involved warranty work. They corrected the issue and the billing was handled correctly by Rhonda Malloy

I had a portable generator installed for emergencies. Denton Electric came out and installed the interlock kit, inlet box, and made sure everything was working.

Asked for an estimate, and met with a sales rep three days later. was told I could expect an estimate in a few days, via email. Called twice, emailed one, texted once. I never heard back from anyone and it has been three weeks. I'm not too impressed with this company.

I called DEI to assist with a small project in my home. I needed to replace two kitchen light fixtures that required electric boxes to be moved. Not only did they schedule the visit quickly, but even arrived exactly on time. We even received a courtesy call that the electrician was on the way!

I would recommend DEI services to anyone. No job is too big or small. Fast, courteous, and professional.

I'm pretty frustrated with our experience. I asked Denton Electric Inc. to come out to bid on the things that needed to be fixed as identified in our inspection. I also asked if it was possible to get two things fixed we knew we wanted fixed no matter what (outlets with no power and a light in my daughter's room that was very dim).

The technician arrived, listened attentively as I told him again what we wanted, read through the entirety of the inspection report, looked at the light in my daughter's room, and came back downstairs. Then he tells me (an hour later) he is NOT the one who does any bids and his ticket said he was only fixing some outlets. Annoying, but okay. I get it.

Then he tells me he cannot fix the light in my daughter's room, and would not be able to do it. Not only that, but now the light that was dim won't even turn on! I literally just got her dressed in the dark.

He charged me 90. Half of that was him reading a report knowing he COULD NOT do anything about it. Then he left our home in WORSE electrical shape than when it started. Then I asked about if we would get a call about the bid work and he told me I would need to call back -- as if it were my mistake. I am SO frustrated by the service here.

I am the Director of Facilities for our company and I could not be more pleased with the continued service we receive from Denton Electric. Justin and the gang never disappoint! Service has always been on-time and on budget. Keep up the fantastic work!
