Moon Valley Nurseries just completed their first install at our home and it came out amazing! Nikia, our Landscape Designer came up with excellent options at her office and also came out to the property for staging and to go over our vision for these Red Tip Photinia! Richard, and his crew did a phenomenal job with planting also left me great tips for the future. Thank you Moon Valley Nurseries, looking forward to the next project!

We recently purchased 3 trees from Moon Valley Nurseries in Forney. We had a great experience that started when we walked in & met Christian & Cole. Christian took us outside to look at the trees on their lot & discuss our needs/wants. A few days later Christian & Richard came to our house to discuss placement and give their recommendations. On the day of install, Richard (crew manager) and his crew arrived on time. Richard made sure the magnolia was planted such that the prettiest side was towards our backyard pool area where we would get the best view. The crew was respectful and did an amazing job cleaning up the areas around all three trees. I would certainly recommend Moon Valley Nurseries.

Avoid Moon Valley Nurseries — Poor Quality, Worse Service

If you’re considering using Moon Valley Nurseries in any of their operating cities, think again. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, disappointing, and costly.

After investing a significant amount of money in a landscaping package, I’ve had to replace 53 shrubs, all within a short period of time. While the company talks a big game with their “guarantees” and fancy marketing, their post installation service is practically non-existent. Under the one year warranty, getting replacements has taken multiple follow ups, countless delays, and what felt like an act of Congress. Not once, not twice, but three separate times.

To make matters worse, they had the audacity to ask if I’d like to pick up and replant the warranty shrubs myself after I paid them to do a full install. That’s not just poor service, that’s unprofessional and unacceptable.

I followed every maintenance instruction they gave, including their highly-pushed “Moon Juice” regimen, yet still dealt with widespread plant loss. In my opinion, the quality of their products is subpar, and their premium pricing is not even remotely justified.

Their high pressure sales pitch might hook you early on (shame on me for falling for it), but once the deal is done, you’re on your own.

Bottom line: Save yourself the money, the time, and the stress , stay far away from Moon Valley Nurseries

The nursery itself is well-organized and has a beautiful selection of plants. The variety is impressive, and the quality of the trees and shrubs was top-notch. Colby took the time to walk us through the different options, helping us choose the perfect trees for our yard, and even gave us tips on how to plant and care for them to ensure they thrive.

What really stood out was how personable and patient Colby was. He answered all of our questions and provided practical advice. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does, and it made the entire shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free.

Moon Valley Nurseries of Forney helped me design my new flowerbed and then planted all the new plants and a new tree in my yard. The design and install was wonderful and they even installed it ahead of schedule. Tyler was the designer and he did an amazing job. I would recommend them to everyone!

I needed a bit of an upgrade in my landscaping. I contacted Moon Nursery in Forney and talked to Colby there. He came out, looked at what I had and what I needed. He had excellent suggestions and gave me a very good price. A couple of days later, his very efficient crew came out and had my new bushes planted very quickly. It all looks very good!

I picked up some Moon Juice from Moon Valley Nurseries after talking with Colby, and it’s been a total game-changer for my trees and plants! Within a couple of weeks, I could already see stronger growth and greener leaves. Colby took the time to explain how and when to use it, which made all the difference. Highly recommend grabbing some Moon Juice and talking with Colby if you want your landscape to really thrive!

Frantz was a huge help. We told him what we were loosely looking for and he laid out an excellent blueprint that lined up with what we wanted. The crew did a great job planting, the yard was clean after (which is a pleasant surprise given how most crews leave the place) and they resolved any issues we had promptly. Would certainly recommend.

Colby at Moon Nursery was very helpful and pleasant to work with. My flower beds were installed exactly as he said they would be and when they would be. The installers were very friendly and accommodating. My beds are very attractive and the plants look very healthy. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Eddie and his team did a great job planting our trees. They were very thorough and cleaned everything up afterwards. Eddie explained the watering process as well. Thank you!

Always good service and affordable

We have used Clover Landscaping for almost 5 years and they are the best. Our lawn looks amazing and they have never missed.We even have won yard of the month in our addition.

Carlos came out and reviewed my landscaping that had been damaged and within a couple of days had it looking as good as new and couldn’t even tell it had been damaged. A great work ethic and ethical person to do business with. I wish all companies shared his standards.

I was calling around and following leads, reworking quotes, trying to get the best price to get sod installed in my front yard. My yard was missing a significant patch of grass and HOA said it needed to be corrected or they would start with fines. I am absolutely thankful I found Carlos. When I first called him, he was in the middle of bigger projects, and said he could help me around the end of the month. He came out the day after I called and at a time that worked for us both and he looked at the yard and have a quote. I admit I was a little impatient and wanted work done immediately, so I kept calling around for more quotes, thinking he had forgetten all about me. But he hadn't! He called the day before the last day of the month, when he finished the previous larger jobs. And really, his call was right on time because I had worked it out with HOA that I was still getting quotes and the ones I had were not reasonable to me; by the time Carlos followed up, which really wasn't very late, I found he had the best price and excellent service, as I was able to negotiate a price great for both of us. His price was fair and he made sure everything was right and that I was satisfied. He installed the sod one day while I was at work, and came out another day for payment when I was available after work. I was trying to pay him, but he was so focused on making sure the sprinklers were right for the sod and existing grass because he couldn't access the sprinkler controls while I was at work the day he did the sod installation. It started getting dark while he was still working, but he kept at it with a flashlight. I had also been concerned about a possible leak in the sprinkler lines and had previously made calls to other businesses to try to get that checked too, and I could only imagine how much that was going to cost, but Carlos didn't leave until he knew the sprinklers were properly providing water to all of my yard, and as he looked deeper into it, he found the sprinkler line underground that had two pipes not connected! That's why I had that leak under ground! It was dark, but he kept working and fixed it and didn't even charge me extra! And he answered my follow up text with quick response when I asked about the watering frequency. I would definitely hire Carlos again!
