A1 Chimney delivered excellent service. Ronald not only checked and cleaned my fireplace, but he also fixed the loose bricks I had — and they look so much better now. He worked carefully, kept everything neat, and explained what he was repairing as he went. His attention to detail and professionalism really show in the final results. I called and scheduled a Chimney Inspection Level 2, I verified with customer service I have a level 2 scheduled and was excited to see the real condition of my fireplace. The inspector only did a level 1 inspection. He didn’t even look in the flue but told me it was good. The inspector did find some outside repairs needed and since a chimney sweep was included with the repairs, I did not complain. I figured the sweep, and repairs would address my concerns. The amount of soot that came out of the flue during the sweep would have been easily detected by the inspector as a safety concern if they did the level 2 inspection that I asked for. Thank God that chimney sweep was done, I was at risk of a house fire according to the man who did the sweep.

My inspector reported damaged siding, and my chase cover needed repair/replacement. After reviewing his photos I agreed. They did try to upsell me with a T-TOP but felt it was unnecessary. On the day of my appointment, I did not hear from the company until 10 minutes after my 3-hour window. Once they texted, they said they would be there in 1 hour but didn’t show up for another 2 hours. At that point they were out of daylight and couldn’t start the job. I do understand that things happen but a whole day was wasted waiting only to be rescheduled.

Some of ther siding was dropped in my pool with no attempt to retrieve it. Not the biggest deal but still annoying.

Finaly $131 in service fees is a bit much. Since I didn’t read the fine print on the 3.5% credit card fee, that falls on me. They offer Zelle or Check as an option to avoid those fees. Zelle I don’t use and they left without giving me the option to pay be check. I was stuck with the fee because I wasn’t going to waste another day taking a check to them. I understand that these fees get passed on to customers, but it doesn’t mean I have to be happy about it.

Overall I will give them 3 stars because the finished product is satisfactory.

A1 provided outstanding service from start to finish. They were punctual, professional, and left the work area spotless. This was by far the most thorough chimney cleaning I’ve ever had. In addition to the cleaning, they replaced my back fire panel, did some painting, and left the fireplace looking like new.

I truly couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of their work. The technicians were courteous, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in what they do—I was so impressed, I gave each of them a tip.

I’m very happy with the service I received. Ron came out and replaced my old, broken panels with great care and professionalism. He also cleaned the chimney and left everything neat and tidy. I’m extremely satisfied with the final result, the panels look great. Ron did an excellent job, and the whole experience reflects very positively on the company.
