I was fortunate to be referred to this company by my independent HVAC man about 20 years ago. Everyone from the admin staff to the qualified technicians to sales has been great to work with. Honest, fair, knowledgeable. They'll try to help over the phone to see if they truly need to make a service call. They'll come by on their way home. I've had everything from minor repairs to full new systems installed. I won't call anyone else. Give them an opportunity, you won't be sorry. (I could name names, there are so many though!)

We started having problems with our AC cooling early evening. Called next morning and spoke to Melody. She said she will get Brian out to us in a few minutes. They were live-savers, especially since my wife has an autoimmune disease that reacts badly to the heat. Thanks everyone at Modern Air!

Our AC unit went out right before we hosted 30 guests for a baby shower in August. Erick was assigned and did a great job. He fixed the problem quickly, explained the problem and gave tips on future issues to watch for. He even remembered installing the unit 4 years ago. Great customer service.

Eric and his associate were professional, honest and extremely competent. On Monday, we had another company do a yearly service on our ac unit. When we scheduled the appointment, I requested a senior technician. They sent an employee with only a few years' experience, and no supervior. He was not in a company vehicle and did not leave any paperwork with the ac unit readings, or the service checklist.
We have two units. Both were working before the service call. At the end of the call, the tech said that one unit was -25 low and our second unit was -15 low on freon. He said they could not be repaired. He immediately started talking about how expensive freon is now, and we needed to buy two new units. We left for the afternoon. When we arrived home at the end of the day, the downstairs unit was not working. The next day, the company even sent a "comfort care specialist" to try to sell us two new new units. He checked the outside power to the unit and said the power was on.
Something did not set right with me and my husband. After talking with my neighbor (a Modern Air customer since 1992), I called Modern Air. They discovered the inside breaker was flipped for the unit that was not working. After doing a thorough service on both units, one unit needed a new capacitor, and the other unit needed a quick start pack. When they cleaned the outside units, I could see that the other company had not cleaned the units. I thought the pleats were gray. After a Modern Air cleaned the pleats, they are black again. Both units are running perfectly, and the freon is not as low as the other company tried to tell us. Please do not let other companies try to sell you a new unit if you do not need one. The other company tried to scam us.
We are so thankful we found an honest HVAC company with honest employees that are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I will never use another HVAC company.

Our tech, Erick was on time and thoroughly checked out our system to make sure it was working properly. They offer a great maintenance plan to ensure maximum performance on our A/C and that our warranty stays valid.

We have been Modern Air customers for many years. We are completely satisfied with the work they have done for us. And now that Modern Air has added Plumbing Services to their company, we have become very satisfied customers with their plumbing department as well. We recently had our toilets reseated. Brian Kohutek and his assistant Duncan worked quickly and efficiently. They did excellent work and respected our home, making sure they took precautions to keep our i’m house clean during their work and afterwards. I offer the highest recommendation possible for both their Plumbing Department and their A/C Services. They.kept our old A/C unit running for years and then replaced it with a new unit when the old one gave finally gave out.. The A/C unit installation and subsequent service was and is exceptional.
Their prices are fair and the work is guaranteed. So if you need A/C or plumbing work done, I urge you to GO MODERN..
