Our pack out crew of Steph, Max, Claudia, Alex and Alondra were all exceptional. They were prompt every day. They worked quickly and efficiently non-stop with the precision of a well oiled machine. My washing machine broke while filling. I had left my home for hours and when I came back the entire house was flooded.my insurance company immediately called SurvPro and they were so efficient respectful and easy to work with. We had A full floor replacement, paint, baseboards, and our master bathroom and guest bathroom restored after a flood. The renovation was not without it’s challenges but Restoration Solutions resolved the issues and we ended with an amazing Master bathroom and beautiful new floors. I contacted Restoration Solutions because my upstairs bathroom pipes leaked, causing water to flow into my gameroom and damaging my downstairs ceiling. While the technicians were friendly, their lack of attention to detail—especially regarding cross-contamination—was deeply concerning.

The first technician arrived the same day and used a hygrometer to assess the water damage. He identified the affected areas and removed the soaked padding but incorrectly stated that the tile was not saturated , despite clear discoloration in the grout caused by standing moisture. He then brought in a water extraction machine and explained he would use a plant-based cleaning solution to inhibit and/or kill mold, bacteria and fungal growth.

However, when he turned the machine on before connecting the hoses and wand, contaminated water sprayed out everywhere,a burst of extremely foul-smelling air and water permeated my home. This filthy water, clearly from a prior remediation job at someone else’s home, splattered onto my wood floors, leaving an unsanitary mess. Shocked, I quickly grabbed towels to clean up the contaminated water. The technician eventually connected the wand, suctioned up the remaining water, and lightly sprayed the cleaning solution. He used a cloth to dry the floors but failed to properly disinfect the affected areas or thoroughly apply the cleaning solution before or after the extraction process.

After addressing the downstairs area, the technician moved upstairs to extract water, removed the baseboards and toekicks, and set up a dehumidifier and fans. However, he left without properly sanitizing the upstairs areas, leaving me deeply concerned about the hygiene and safety of my home.

The next day, a second technician arrived, apologized, and explained that the first technician should have saturated all contaminated areas—including the water sprayed from another home—with cleaning solution before extraction. He also brought in an air scrubber, but its filter was filthy, causing the room to appear cloudy for the first 30 minutes of use. To make matters worse, the technicians had not ordered the proper equipment to address the ceiling leakage, forcing them to improvise until the next business day (this occurred on a Saturday morning). Again, they left my home without cleaning up the area where they cut open the ceiling.

As a result of this experience, my daughter’s asthma and allergies were triggered, and my family was exposed to unsanitary conditions that posed serious health risks.

Restoration Solutions, your lack of preparation, failure to follow basic sanitation protocols, and use of contaminated equipment from other homes is unacceptable.

The crews had good communication. The service was professional and we received extensive reports and photos of the incident. Nicholas was there in the beginning of the process and and back on the last day to ensure the areas were dry and ready for closing up the affected areas.
