Serv Pro did a fantastic job with water restoration when my 50 gallon water heater flooded my downstairs master bedroom. Tyler was able to clean things up, bring fans, humidifiers - to dry out flooring/walls and cut out the ceiling damage for repairs. He explained their process well, came back each day, and provided strong communication and follow through til the job was done. Tyler & Serv Pro are the best!

SERVPRO went above and beyond and was very thorough in identifying everything that would need to be done to restore our home after a toilet water line leak flooded our upstairs and downstairs. Aaaron Snaden was our estimator and, without his attention to detail, our claim with our insurance company would not have been sufficient to cover the costs of repairing the damage. Aaron was very professional and friendly, which helped ease our minds during a monumentally stressful time and that helped give us a sense of confidence that all would work out in the end.

This review is a follow-up of a review I left concerning ServePro Team Shaw, the first part of June 2024. The truly amazing part of my saga, is that, after 2 months, not much has changed. “Promises Made, Promises Unfulfilled”. I would like to say that this review should not be reflective of their mitigation efforts. Mitigation was handled in a timely and efficient manner; however, our reconstruction has been nothing but a complete and utter nightmare. I believe that this lack of professionalism stems from 1.) Unqualified personnel being assigned to tasks that they are not prepared to handle, 2.) A lack of managerial support (and possibly funding issues), 3.) Requiring on site subcontractors to perform tasks that they are not licensed to perform in order to avoid hiring licensed contractors (drywall and painters wiring electrical components, and I was even told that they were not involving the city in this project), 4.) A total disregard for the property owners concerns, with disdain, and a lack of attentiveness, to information that is provided them (one small example was the walls were painted with Semi Gloss paint, and the project manager, my wife and I had about a 30 minute discussion about Semi Gloss or Satin, to which I responded either is fine, only to come home to find the whole bedroom had been painted with Flat Paint). 5.) Most of the subcontractors have been proficient (drywall crew was horrible and it took them 3 days to do a 15 x 15 room poorly), but Team Shaw’s lack of proficient management and/or scheduling seems to work against the subcontractors being as efficient as they could be (I have been waiting for 3 weeks on a ceiling fan, and 3 Smoke/CO detectors to arrive and be installed by a Licensed Electrician, and Team Shaw is balking at using a Licensed Electrician).

Our fire happened on Jan. 14, 2024 and it affected only one room (now entering month 8), the Master Bedroom. Here it is, the end of the first week in August, and, if the process would be attended to, it could be completed in a week so, and we could once again be able to use our home. The Team Shaw project manager and I had a contentious phone conversation last Friday night (8-2-24) where the project manager said that we are so close to finishing and to let him finish (at least 10 times) but Team Shaw, true to their lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and lack of transparency, has not contacted me or been on our property for almost a week. So what does that mean? It means we are not the ones that are preventing them from finishing the project. ServPro Team Shaw is not performing.

If there are those considering ServPro Team Shaw, for reconstruction of their property, after an unsettling event. My suggestion would be to consider the decision carefully. What I have encountered, in my situation, is government section 8 housing workmanship quality, so diligence on your part, will be a necessity. In my situation, Team Shaw has only served to make our situation much more stressful and unsettling.

Servpro team was extremely helpful at addressing our leaks after the winter storm at our commercial facility. Sean and his team had the right up to date Equipment that effectively restored the areas of concern.

We had floor flooding with the heavy rains in May 2024. I called a couple different services and Servpro was the only company that gave me any kind of hope they may be able to come out same day. The office set expectation we'll from the first call. Sean came out the same day in the afternoon. He and his 2 helpers were clear on what they were going to do. They did a good tidy job of removing baseboards and pulling back carpet and pad. After 2 days Kole came to check the moisture levels. He took the fans and dehumidifier from one room and left the other. Later that same day it rained again and water came in again. As scheduled, Kole came the next day and decided to rearrange because the 2nd room had become wet again. Kyle came back the next day and tested all moisture, finally everything was dry!
This was a terrible thing to happen but ServPro-Team Shaw (Sean and Kole) were very helpful and made us feel ok about how to remediate wet floors. We will call them again if we encounter this situation agin before the source problem is fixed.

My Experience with the ServPro Team of Brianna, Carlos, and Jean was excellent. The team was courteous, thorough, and communicated everything very well. While dealing with Water Damage on a house is never easy the ServPro team was able to help take care of my property and reduce the headache I had to deal with.

There is so much to say about this experience. We had a house fire and in the midst of the chaos we were swarmed with lot lizards (public adjusters and restoration companies). All of them gave us no time to process what happened and were pushy to sign a contract immediately. It was a mess!

After FD left and we had time to decompress Ed Moore from Team Shaw came and it was a breath of fresh air! He wasn’t pushy, asked how he could help, explained what the process was and guided us on what happens next. He was very kind and knowledgeable and has experience as a former Firefighter. We took his word and trusted him and their team got to work quickly. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and knew what to expect, and he remained available throughout the process for any questions and concerns even though we had multiple hiccups. He stayed a point of contact throughout the entire process. He didn’t just sell the service and disappear. He also allowed us to choose any part of the service Team Shaw offered and use other companies as needed.

Fast forward a month and the build back team got started. We met Cory who did the initial inspection and gave us a plan for repairs. The build back turned into a nightmare and although he was the appraiser for jobs, Cory stepped up to manage the entire build back process (not his job, he did this because it needed to be done). He did this above and beyond of what his job was. He listened to the concerns, remedied the situations and worked his A$$ off to make sure our house was fixed properly. This included him getting in the attic in 100degree heat to finish up things himself. He communicated with us every step of the way and did not make us feel crazy as we went through challenge after challenge. For this reason, I 100% believe he is wasted on appraisals! He needs to be a project manager for large jobs, he can handle subs, has a great attitude and really listens. He also made sure the job was done well no matter how many people had to get involved. He advocated for us and made sure we got our house back.

With everything that happened in our house, Ed and Cory together got us back home. They knew who I was when I called and texted (which was a lot) and they really stuck by their word. It took a lot longer than we thought, and it wasn’t easy or headache free, but they made sure to keep their promises when I signed the contract and for that I am so grateful. This whole experience has been hard, but knowing I had them in my corner gave me confidence to push through and trust the process.

I recommend them and I recommend asking for them to be part of your job!

Had a water leak in our corporate office that needed immediate attention. This is a critical area of our organization. Luckily, this service company sent out these two individuals Sean Killingsworth and Reed Jones which did a great job with discretion when it came to the employees affected and attention to detailed for their service provided. If we have to use this service again in the future, we’ll definitely ask for Sean Killingsworth and Reed Jones to do the work, thanks guys for a fantastic job.

Albert Pecina and his Servpro team have done a fantastic job with our insurance claim. He prepared a very thorough and professional cost estimate that was accepted by our insurance company. Kaytee in their office contacted the insurance company when we needed follow up and was wonderful to work with. Albert brought in a great contractor to do all the work, including removal and installation of flooring and baseboard as well as painting. I hope I never have another water leak again, but if I do these are the people to use.

We’ve only had one meeting so far, but we are happy with the company. Zach and Dave came out after we had a water incident. They were prompt and professional and answered our extensive questions. They set up drying fans same day and Zach is writing a report for insurance. Feels like they will take care of us for the work needed. Laura, who called to schedule our appointment, was also very kind and helpful.

Kyle & Cole came to our house this morning to assess water damage which was not covered by our insurance due to it being rising water. The guys were great, very knowledgeable with expert opinions on what to do. I could not be any more grateful for their help. They were extremely nice & very professional. I will definitely call them again if we need help. Always ask for Kyle & Cole. 10 stars.

I had a great experience with ServPro - Team Shaw. My home sustained water damage from a burst pipe. Andrew and Isiah got everything taken care of did a great job communicating and updating me with the progress along the way. I'm very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them.

The guys that came out to our school today were absolutely INCREDIBLE! They were prompt, professional, courteous, and absolutely cared about our facility. A simple analysis of our space and they were able to give us really great service and advice. Zach and Kole with Team Shaw did an outstanding job for us. My family had a water pipe burst under our house with water damage getting a majority of our floor and large sections of wall. I appreciate their professional communication and willingness to work with our schedule to get in and clean it up quick. I recommend these guys if you find yourself unfortunate enough to need them. They will get it done right! Should the need ever arise, and in North Texas it probably will, I'll be calling them again.

Absolutely so impressed with this company, their representatives are professional, knowledgeable, sympathetic and on time! Had skylight blow off as well as chimney in this storm, leaving a gaping hole in roof. Called my insurance (Mercury, they also were impressive, so kudos to them) ServPro rep was at my house within 2 hours of my calling my insurance, as well as another gentleman who immediately covered the skylight and chimney. Thereafter their loss mitigation rep -Sean, came to access damage, take pictures etc. He explained very thoroughly the damage, the restoration process, and what would happen after that, and my options. Very knowledgeable and polite and just a very nice person. I would recommend them to any and everyone.
