We are going on almost 4 years with our pool built by Prestige. They have stood by their work the entire time, and we cannot say enough good things about them. Anytime we have a problem they are out there addressing it. We have never encountered one negative employee, they are all great. We worked with Toby and he was WONDERFUL! We will be using them for our next pool.

Working with Prestige has been a great experience. Specially thanks to Chris for his guidance and recommendations in the pool school session today! and Franklin for setting up the first days of the pool and keeping a real good pool for us. I am surprised on the many pool features and in how carefully prestige has been guidance us through this process.

I wish I can say I had a great experience but it was terrible from start to finish. They have no communication. When something goes wrong they blame you. Once the pool is completed they don't stand behind their work. You can email or call and they'll ignore you. Attached are some photos of the masonry work falling off the side of the pool slide and cracking on the ground. For over a year I've been trying to get someone out here....crickets. I'm not going to write about the 14 major issues I've had. Read the other reviews, you'll get the picture. They might have decent reviews for pool cleaning but not pool building. Over 200k and still having problems 2 years later.

I shopped around quite a bit, but after I talked to Eugene, I went with Prestige. The process was good and timely. The stone work was exceptional. Chris really did a great job of transparent and regular communication. Highly recommend

We had our pool completed July, 2023 - earlier this year we noticed erosion of sand/rock under the turf installed on the side yard - this was due to the turf being laid over an existing sprinkler head. The turf is also currently ripping at the seam near the gate to our dog run. We have reached out to multiple employees of the organization, including our project manager, and no one has reached back out to us with an update on when this can be fixed so that it is fully functional.

Wonderful experience working with both Zac and Chris! Zac did a phenomenal job with our pool design. Chris (our builder) was very attentive and made sure our pool build process was seamless! Chris kept me in the loop on each stage of the building process. I highly recommend both Chris and Zac when building a pool with Prestige!

Prestige just installed a custom gas grill island and sink with room for my Kamado Joe smoker! They did a terrific job! They matched the bricks from our home and tailored the island to fit the narrow space on our new patio. We worked with Chris who was very attentive and thorough throughout the process. We would highly recommend using Prestige Pools And Patio for your next project!

An Endless Nightmare — Please Read Before You Sign Anything With Prestige Pool

I'm not someone who posts reviews. But after months of sleepless nights and feeling completely helpless in my own backyard, I owe it to every hardworking family to share what happened to me. If this stops even one family from going through what we have, every word will be worth it.

In October 2024, we signed a contract with Prestige Pool for a pool and deck — nearly $250,000 of our family's hard-earned savings. We trusted them completely. That trust was a mistake we are still paying for.

Their contract is designed to make you helpless. You must pay in full before the plaster — the final step — yet you cannot test a single pump or filter until after it's done. You hand over hundreds of thousands of dollars completely blind. When I raised this, no one cared. They already had my money.

They made written commitments and then denied them. Drainage approved by email by both the project manager and account manager? Suddenly "emails don't count." At 92% paid, I was trapped. They made me pay extra for work already promised in email. I had no choice.

The moment the final payment cleared, I became invisible. I called and messaged my project manager Cody every single day. The response was always silence or "I'm looking into it." Three months have now passed. Not one person from Prestige Pool has knocked on my door, picked up the phone to ask how things were, or sent even a courtesy message asking if I was satisfied. Not one.

The plaster they installed has visible stains — and they still haven't fixed it. It's March 2026. I cannot use the pool, afraid they'll blame me for the damage and use it as an excuse.

The lights on my deck were installed wrong — and their solution was to make it my problem. I paid for premium FX Luminaire deck lights with separate zones. The electrician installed them incorrectly. After months of daily follow-ups, Cody finally gave me his answer: why don't you just buy the missing parts yourself and hire someone to fix it? I had already paid for this. In full. The mistake was theirs. But their answer was for me to spend more of my own money to fix what they broke. I was speechless.

The firepit moment is the one I will never forget — it should have been completed before the plaster. It wasn't. Months passed. Finally, in February 2026, Cody showed up. He brought a $5 bag of rocks from Home Depot. I almost accepted them — until I read the label on the bag. It said, clearly and explicitly, do not use in a fire pit. These rocks can absorb moisture and explode when exposed to fire. When I pushed back, the rocks were replaced with a cheap bag of lava rock from Amazon that looks completely out of place. Not the glass rocks I was shown in the showroom when they were selling me this dream. And when I asked why? "It's not in the contract." That sentence — those five words — is the answer Prestige Pool has for everything. It is their weapon.

A $100 garden hose reveals their true character. The crew used and mishandled my backyard hose during construction. Cody promised to replace it — first saying their Home Depot account was blocked, then in January promising to sort it, then finally telling me nothing was wrong and he wouldn't replace it. If a man cannot keep his word over something this small, ask yourself — this is the person Prestige Pool puts in charge of your life savings.

Volleyball accessories paid for in October 2024 were delivered today — March 2026. Five months of monthly follow-ups for something already paid for, with zero apology.

And over all this, I experienced racial discrimination. I don't say this lightly. I say it because it is true, and because no one — no matter how much money they spend or where they come from — deserves to be treated as less than human.

I have every message, email, and photo documented and ready to share. I just don't want another family to feel this helplessness, this betrayal, this grief of watching something, you worked years for, become a source of pain.

Edited to respond to owner’s response:

Hi Eugene, this is mark. Thanks for your response. If you’re truly interested in finding a solution I would love to hear it. You have my contact information and I would be happy to update my review to reflect any future experience.

It’s been about a year since you were out, so you my be remembering incorrectly but other than a section of driveway/walkway that has shifted about 2” after 20 years of cars driving on it, there is not “widespread ground movement”. No issues with home foundation, street, etc.

Regarding communication, the only thing constant about it was that I constantly had to ask for someone to respond to my emails. Almost all of my emails required a “can I please get a response on below” follow up after about a week of waiting. This shouldn’t be a surprise to hear as I called out the frustrating lack of communication twice via email.

I would love to resolve this issue but cannot spend thousands of dollars on a solution that has no guarantee/warranty attached to it.

Please let me know your thoughts on a resolution.

    Thanks!

I thought paying a premium price meant I’d get premium quality and service. That was not the case.

I was hesitant about getting a travertine deck but was told during the sales phase “don’t worry about it, it won’t move, look at the travertine in front of the store…”. It looked nice so we went with it. Brought up concerns about shifting to project manager during construction and was told again “don’t worry about it, we’ll compact everything and it will look great”. I should have trusted my gut.

For the last 2.5 years the deck never stayed level for more than 6 weeks. I asked the warranty person to send someone out to try something different than what they had been doing but they kept sending the same crew to do the same “repair” and it failed the same way after a few weeks.

Finally got ahold of the owner and construction manager who said ground movement, not covered by anything. They offered to try chemical stabilization at my expense and with no guarantee or warranty on its success. Was going to cost me around $3k, so I had a structural engineer look at it (not cheap) and he said ground movement is always an issue in Texas soil but the decking shouldn’t fail the way it did if everything was compacted properly and erosion was managed properly, which it was not. Prestige offered to fix the way the engineer recommended but at my expense…not sure what the original six-figures of checks I wrote were for if they didn’t include a stable deck. I guess I paid for a chance at a stable deck and lost? I’d understand if it was an old deck that needed work, but this was an issue almost from the day we filled the pool.

My project manager told me he had over 30 pools he was managing while mine was being built which is why I felt more like a project management partner and less like a customer. He worked hard and cared about doing a good job, he just had too much on his plate.

Nobody seems to stay: project manager, design/sales person, warranty person, original construction manager all no longer there.

Various other issues with plaster, Polaris, and more that I just don’t have the energy to pursue anymore. To summarize, I was told issues would be addressed and they never were.

What was supposed to be a fun project for my family turned into a constant source of stress.

Owner has never responded to a phone call or email from me. Construction manager almost always requires a follow-up email in order to get a response.

I was polite and patient and it got me nowhere. I hate to leave a bad review but it’s been made clear to me that they are done with this project and satisfied with where they left it, which leaves me to figure it out on my own.

You never really know what you’re getting with a pool company — I’ve had some bad experiences in the past — but these guys were awesome. Easy to schedule, showed up on time, and took care of the job. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Worked with Chris at Prestige Pools to get my pool equipment moved. He and his team did a great job and provided uplifting customer service! Thanks for the work!!!

Chris Hamilton was the construction manager on the build of our 12 foot outdoor kitchen. We cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, courteous and thorough in every aspect of the build. The owner of Prestige is also great in every way. A great company to work with.

This experience was amazing and Chris was the absolute best PM we could have ever asked for! It’s was not only a pleasure working with him through the whole process, I can honestly say he became a true friend! I’ll recommend this company to anyone (and largely because of him!)

Outstanding Experience with Prestige Pool & Patio!

I recently had a pool installed by Prestige Pool and Patio, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, Chris and Toby were exceptional to work with — professional, responsive, and truly committed to delivering quality. They actually finished ahead of schedule, which is rare in this industry, and every step of the process was handled with care and attention to detail.

They were punctual, accommodating, and made sure everything exceeded expectations. Eugene, the owner, was also personally involved early on, and his professionalism set the tone for the entire project.

The finished pool is beautiful, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend Prestige Pool and Patio to anyone considering a new pool. Their team delivers on their promises — and then some!

We are thrilled with how our pool turned out. The finished product exceeded our expectations. Chris was always readily available to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout construction and appreciate his responsiveness. Chris and his Prestige team did an excellent job.

Great experience with Prestige. Zac and Chris were both great to work with and they delivered the backyard we were hoping for and were available throughout the entire process! Highly recommend!

We had another great experience with Prestige Pools. Chris Hamilton was not only our sales rep, but he was also the Project Manager. His knowledge and professionalism was nothing less than first class. We built a pool 4 years ago and Chris was instrumental in guiding us through our new patio/decking improvement.

Prestige took on our backyard pool and patio project this summer. I can’t recommend them enough. Very communicative, informative, and patient with our many questions. I worked with Cassandra on the plans and Cody was our project manager. Both were above and beyond representatives of the company and a pleasure to deal with. Their informational content on social media helped me understand what was going on with our project along the way. Couldn’t be happier with the end result!

Toby was recommended from a neighbor . I told him I wanted something simple not deep and he came up with a really nice design . Cody the project manager and his team made sure that the pool was completed on time with care and professionalism. We are very happy with the pool.

Prestige pools did an outstanding job on our pool. We had a bad experience with the previous pool contractor, Prestige stepped in and we saw immediate improvements in the communication, professionalism, and work product. Zach helped with the pricing and set up, our experience with him was top notch. Chris was over the construction and he was great. He was very engaged in the project, great communication, easy to work with, and responded to any question or need immediately, even during off hours. I hope this is my one and done pool but if I ever move or know anyone installing a pool, I will be recommending, very strongly, Prestige Pools. Thank you guys!
