Chorbie has been our lawn care service since moving to Frisco about 4 years ago. We have been very happy with the care they take of our lawn.

Recently we opted in to their lawn aeration service. Thomas came out and did our first aeration service. Thomas did a great job and gave us some additional tips that will be very helpful. We definitely recommend their service!

Let me just preface this by saying Chorbie DID comp the mow after I complained. But I still had to spend $200 and waste 4 hours of my weekend fixing their mess.

I just got back from overseas. The lawn hadn’t been cut in about a month, so it was pretty long. I wasn’t expecting perfection, but what I got was honestly the worst lawn service I’ve ever paid for.

It’s a small, basic yard. They charged me $130 for an overgrown cut and somehow still skipped edging completely and didn't touch any weeds.

To make it worse, they took fallen branches and threw them into my bushes and on top of my plants. One of their mowers was leaking oil and left a trail all over my sidewalk and driveway. That ended up costing me $200 to clean up. There were also tire marks all over the sidewalk.

None of this was professional. I don’t care that the mow was free in the end. It still cost me time, money, and a ton of frustration. I wouldn’t let Chorbie touch my yard again if they paid me.

STAY AWAY FROM CHORBIE.

Changing from a 5 star review to a 1 star review. I have been a Chorbie customer for years and have referred several people to use them but I am cancelling service as of today.

I have weekly mowing service, plus weed & fertilizer service that I pre-pay for totaling over $2100/year at my elderly parents' home. They have asked the lawn crew many times to please trim the grass pictured below but they were told that is additional service.

I called my account manager to see if something can be done and he offered me hourly service at $64/hour. If the lawn could be done in a half hour this would increase my annual bill over $1000 to do 2 minutes of additional work because they have rocks around the trees and in front of the house.

UPDATE: I received a call back and Jody offered 6 free months of flower bed service after which would be $39.99/month. So it wouldn't be over $1000/year but only $320 for 8 months of flower bed care that I don't need.

Lloyd consistently provides excellent service at my rental property in Celina! He is always kind, communicative, and knowledgeable.

Our gardener Carlos does such a professional job of mowing and edging our lawn. We don't have brick separating our lawn from our planter area. He rounds off the grass and makes a clean line. He cleans up everything Chorbie has already done their first weed and feed for our lawn. They are prompt, professional and courteous. We finally found a lawn care company we can trust.

I’ve used Chorbie for about a year. The neighbor used them. We had just moved here. I didn’t know, but the neighbor had fired them months ago.The price was very good. But there’s probably a reason for that. The crew I don’t think they are ethical. They would constantly slack on the edging and they would leave trash in my yard , sometimes.They wanted to charge me for stuff on the side. And then just recently I said I would keep them two weeks a month during the winter and when I came home, I was out of town, the bushes were trimmed. It’s not time to trim bushes. When I called the company and asked why did they trim the bushes? The company didn’t want to deal with it. They said oh the crew said they didn’t. I was thinking they were gonna try to ask me for money on the side. When I hired them before to Trey Bush‘s last year, I didn’t know they worked for Chorbie. They were just doing the neighbors yard. So they were getting paid by Chorbie and by me.But what it comes down to is lack of integrity in the company in the management and the people they hire are questionable so I told them I don’t wanna do business with them anymore. They asked for before and after picture. I had sent them pictures before and after. And it was in the feed. They didn’t even look to see if they had the pictures. They must be desperate for workers. After I posted this review they contacted me. Trying to work a deal. When all of this happened, I tried to work a deal with them. Send me a different crew. I tried to make it work. They didn’t want to. They didn’t do anything until I posted this review and they wanted to then help me I said no I moved onbecause the response that they put make it sound like they worked it out or they helped me or something that’s not true.

I hired Chorbie 8/13/25 to do regular weekly mowing services! They were scheduled to come out the following day 8/14/25 which is today, but did not arrive until 7:48 pm which was late to mow a lawn good before it got too dark. Instead of mowing right away, the 2 guys stood around contemplating if they were going to mow or not. They complained that there was a lot of grass to mow! How ridiculous! Of course there is a lot of grass to mow. It’s a yard full of grass! They complained that my grass was high. How can a mowing company complain that they have to mow grass! That’s their job! They ended up not mowing and left without telling me anything else. Here are pictures of my normal yard which just needed the grass mowed 3inches! This was my first experience with Chorbie, and do not recommend anyone use this company if this is the service they don’t provide! See photos attached

Chorbie is easy to work with and has reliable mowing service at the best price! My lawn looks so good this year, I just got Outstanding Lawn of the Month!

Servpro was easy to work with and got the job done in a timely manner. Adam and Michael were great, addressed every concern we had. I would highly recommend servpro. Was a breath of fresh air when our home was damaged by the fire.

We had Roberto, Lois, and Josue out to take apart our island after an unknown leak caused issues behind the pony wall. These folks were great! Professional, on time and kept us informed during the whole process. Now everything is cleaned up we can begin the rebuild process.

While out of town, we had a flood in an upstairs bathroom that caused fairly extensive damage both upstairs and down. We have used Servpro for other water damage issues in the past, and chose to use them again for both mitigation and rebuild. As expected, they did a great job. Justin and Javier were fantastic to work with and made juggling this repair on top of other important issues I was also dealing with much easier than I expected it to be. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again should the need arise.

Servepro techs Pablo; Jose; Josue; Luis and Roberto came out the night and next day after we had a water event and got the ball rolling drying everything and demolished what needed to be. I would recommend these guys to anyone who has a water event in their home. Very professional and when they said they’d be there there were there.

Pablo, Jose, Jose & Forte we wonderful to work with. They were efficient & thorough, and knowing how stressful a situation like this is for the homeowner they were very thoughtful and caring. Kept the area very clean as they went. Communication was great through the process. Zach kept everything coordinated, and as with the others, very patient and customer oriented.

We we’re beyond grateful for all the hard work Jacob’s team did after the problem we had with the flood at the house. , they started working at 7:30pm and they probably stop working around 3am they were amazing!! Throughout the days they check and make sure the walls and floor was drying. The communication of everyone in the team was excellent. Highly recommend them to anyone, they made it so easy.

We had a leak in our roof that led to water leaking out of our ceiling. They removed everything that was wet and got the fans going to dry everything out. They were very personable and efficient. I appreciate their quick response and the hard work that followed. Thank you so much! I have peace of mind knowing that there isn't any mold.
