It's been over a week from the time they said it would be done and I still haven't received my things back. They took items to get cleaned that were absolutely not necessary to take. Overall highly unsatisifed.

On 2/21/2020 my apartment burned down and only a few things were salvageable. Gunn's restoration came in through another company and said they would clean my clothes. 2 week's later they said I owed $9,000, then the girl text me and said $3,000 I told her not to clean my clothes until a price was quoted to me that I agreed on. I just received a call from a very rude lady saying I owe $3,000 after I lost my job during Covid 19. Shame on you guy's for taking advantage of people's tragedies you guy's are evil and should be put out of business. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Do not use them.

Some issue with payment and the lady was really rude about not recieving the check. Rushing us about picking up check, yet they took their time responding back to us about returning our stuff. They even left bags at our house and never picked up to clean. I dont know. The lady made it seem like we were trying to run away with her money or something.

There was a fire in my apartment building, so all of my stuff had to be cleaned due to the smoke damage. Hillary with this company was so amazing! She was also super easy to contact, answered my questions promptly, and was very understanding when I kept having to push back the day for her to pick up their check due to my crazy schedule. Besides that, she seemed like an all around good person, too. Which is so comforting when you are going through the stress of a fire! I hope I never have to use a restoration company again, but if I do I will definitely use them again!

I had a fire 3 days before leaving for a work trip. Gunns Restoration was able to come get my clothing within 12 hours of the fire, ship it 3 hours away and return it to me the day before my work trip so I would have things to pack and wear. My clothing and hats were returned in perfect condition and smelled amazing. Couldn't smell any signs of smoke on them any more. 100% recommend them for any restoration needs you may need!

Steer clear of Gunn’s Restoration. We had a house fire and the fire chaser who came out and took advantage of us while our house was still burning set us up with Gunn’s Restoration to take our textiles and electronics. After receiving our belongings back we carefully went through every single box and realized how much we had missing. After removing all the plastic from the hangers and hanging clothes back up we had several clothing pieces missing. We had two very sentimental items that we entrusted them with and they are nowhere to found even though Gunn’s has photos of the items they took. Complete disregard. Cassandra gave me the excuse that they may have fallen out somewhere. Rob has refused to pick up a phone and return our pleas for help finding these belongings. They look at your insurance policy to see what your maximum allowed is and charge accordingly. Absolutely disgusted to pay what they charged to clean our electronics. Much more than they are worth. Look elsewhere if you are ever in a situation where you need a company that does come in and help with your cleanup and removal of textiles.

Do NOT let this company NEAR YOUR POSSESSIONS

* TONS of missing items despite photos
* received a lot of belongings that weren't even hours and our belongings were probably given to somebody else. When we collected all of the items that weren't hours to give back to they said that they have no idea who they belong to and so just throw them away which is probably what happened to our stuff
* super dark photos
* Cluttered, indiscernable photos with covered in yellow trash bags so you can't even see them to inventory for yourself

Whatever Items Gunn's Manages to return to you (Whenever they darn well feel like it!), will be IRREPARABLY DAMAGED and INFESTED with some kind of INSECT that WEAVES NESTS INTO your Clothing and then proceeds to CONTAMINATE your ENVIRONMENT because you Opened The Box!!

They'll lose the rest and then Hold whatever is left off your life HOSTAGE Until you sign their (afterthought - because you already brought up the damage) INDEMNITY CONTRACT absolving them of ALL responsibility, legally and financially, for DESTROYING EVERYTHING you TRUSTED THEM TO CARE FOR.

We were Lied to and our requests for updates and deliveries were completely Ignored over and over and over again

I gave them almost All of my clothing I had managed to bring to the hotel. It's been FOUR MONTHS and ONE partial delivery was made a month Later than the promised 2 week and hardly anything was returned. They Left me with LESS than a Single complete outfit for ONE DAY. So much for receiving an "EXPEDITED" "Two weeks worth of clothing"

They made the 1st pick up in December 2023.it is Now the middle of May and STILL, only ONE days worth of clothing!

I've had to spend my OWN money on everything from a winter coat to bras, panties, shoes and outerwear because of THEIR UNMITIGATED NERVE!

This company Chronically displays a complete and utter disregard, disrespect and negligence where customers and their belongings are concerned; People already traumatized by whatever disaster led to Gunn's be hired through insurance receive Nothing short of More trauma. What Gunn's has done here is Nothing short of Criminal!

REALLY GUNN'S?? Talk about unethical, sleazy, contemptuous...AND CRIMINAL behavior. I'm Absolutely Revolted.

When something happens and you have to hire a company like Gunns Restoration, we all know it's going to be a difficult road to navigate and advocate for yourself in a world we know nothing about. Well, I am delighted to say that by hiring Gunns - it was as seamless as this unfortunate process could go! I worked with Sky and she was not only professional, but human. I mean a kind, considerate, and understanding person that actually heard my concerns and rectified them in a timely manner and kept me in the loop throughout. Between insurance, my sentimental belongings, and home I worked hard to earn - I was beyond overwhelmed and she was able to put me at ease with her communication, friendly demeanor, and actions. The end result of a tragic situation had the best outcome possible and I can't thank Sky enough for making that happen!! Thank you, Gunns for saving my belongings and Sky for saving my sanity!! 10/10
