Terrible experience with this incredibly shady business and I would not recommend. Their tech initially quoted me over 2k for heat repair and when I asked if we could go lower on the price, I was offered almost half the price. Several days later after playing phone tag with their team, I was told they could absolutely not do it for the price the tech went down to because the part was almost more than the offer that was made. I got a second opinion from another company and the estimate was almost exactly half of what Comfort Land originally estimated - parts and all! I didn’t even tell the new company about my initial estimate or offer. Needless to say, I went with the other company and got my repair done. Truly disgusted by companies that take advantage of people - especially when it comes to necessities like heat. I’ll also add that I know they’ll try to dispute that there was an offer that was made, but the in person conversation with the tech was picked up by my camera so I’m 100% sure that I was not misinformed!

Tyler Dorsett came to our home. He was very informative with our options. I greatly appreciate his help. Good communication skills, super transparent.

Ricardo did a great job. He was on time & very professional. He did a very thorough check & gave me information & options regarding my HVAC system.

Cory was great and gave us great advice on what to do with our system. Fully explained everything to get our furnace fixed.

Ricky came to do a maintenance check up on our a/c unit (which we also purchased and had installed by Comfort Land )

I want to sincerely thank Comfort Land for the way they handled a very stressful situation after lightning damage to my system. What initially seemed simple turned out to involve multiple low-voltage components, and the team did not walk away from the problem.

Jeff (manager) and Juan (technician) truly went above and beyond to make things right. They were patient, responsive, and thorough, ultimately making my Christmas a joyful one. Most importantly, they stood behind their work and made sure everything was corrected before leaving.

Situations like this are frustrating as a homeowner, but the way a company responds makes all the difference. I really appreciate the professionalism, accountability, and care shown by Jeff and Juan, and I’m grateful for the effort they put in to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied in the end.

As a Member, I have access to seasonal maintenance. The office called a few weeks ago and my schedule was crazy, so I requested that they call me back a week later to coordinate. Sara called a few times and then texted. I'm so grateful for the persistence so that I was actually able to take advantage of a service I've already paid for (if left to my own devices I probably would have let it fall off the to-do list!). When Ricardo arrived, first thing on a Saturday morning (they made an exception bc of my schedule limitations), he was super understanding and patient with me, as I got my day started, and got him set up to do his thing! He was kind, communicative, and thorough the whole time he was here. I felt very comfortable with him in and around my home (which is everything to me!) and look forward to seeing him again in the Spring 🌱🌼

Stephen is very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Did present additional packages, without making me feel pressured. Did a thorough job of cleaning and checking to insure HVAC was in working order.

Ricardo Gutierrez was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. He was very respectful and even put on shoe covers before being asked. He thoroughly explained his findings and made sure that I had a clear understanding of both the cause and effect. If I ever have another problem I will request him by name!

Ricardo did an excellent job replacing my limit switch and ensuring my entire heating system was working correctly. He was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was in top shape. Highly recommend his services!

Deceptive Bait-and-Switch Tactics & Hidden Fees

Review: WARNING: Do not sign any documents with Comfort Land until you double-check the financing terms.

We agreed to a $13,000 installation based entirely on their written promise of 24-month 0% APR financing. Once the equipment was installed, they sent us a contract for only 6 months.

When we caught the discrepancy, they admitted the error but refused to honor the original deal unless we paid an additional $700+ in hidden fees. They attempted to force us into this by claiming the funding was already 'released' and couldn't be stopped.

We verified with the lender directly, and this was false. The funds were not released. The company attempted to mislead us about the bank's status to pressure us into paying extra for terms they had already promised.

This was a textbook Bait-and-Switch. We have now filed formal complaints with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and the Attorney General. Take your business to a company that honors their word.

Tuned up my HVAC system for the past year. Quality service technicians. They work efficiently and would inspect system for any problems that may arise that would cause the system to fail when needed most. Got it checked out before summer and winter weather.

Great experience today with Juan's visit to check my mini-splits. Excellent customer service...knowledgeable, friendly, detailed, reliable, and punctual. He took extended time to explain what was happening since I had many questions. I love working with Comfort Land!

Great service and excellent HVAC technician. Ricardo showed up and is extremely kind and very knowledgeable in his profession. I look forward to working with him and Comfort Land again.

Martin L. Jr was Respectful, quick, and professional. Also, representative was delightful on the phone. I did have to reach out to have them come back out but that happens. We will see if I get a response and see if they come back and double check their work on the unit. Loud/consistent rattling after the repair but before the repair we didn’t even notice unit was running.

But definitely Would use again.

Martin delivered outstanding customer service and demonstrated exceptional HVAC expertise. I look forward to having him service our furnace and AC again in the future.

We had a an emergency repair and Comfort Land responded the quickest response and was able to dispatch Juan the same day. We were very impressed with Juan, seemed very honest and professional. I have to admit that I was not a fan of the virtual assistant.

Huge thanks to Ricardo Gutierrez for coming out to my home and doing my heater inspection and provide recommendations. Ricardo explained step by step on what he was going to look for, what recommendations should be prioritized and immediately got to order the piece required to improve the heater unit. The next day, he came by and changed the motor unit with ease and made sure everything was running as expected. Thank you Ricardo for your excellent customer service skills and work ethic

I had a great experience with Comfortland! They came out to clean my mini split units and did a fantastic job from start to finish. Not only were they extremely personable, but they were also a lot of fun to be around during the short time they were here. They worked efficiently, kept the entire area clean, and were very respectful of the fact that my business was open while they were working. I truly appreciate their professionalism and care; highly recommend!
