Stephen provides clear and reasonable estimates and sticks to them. He arrives on time. His work is first class. We were very happy with his work. He is professional and a nice guy. I would hire him any time again.

We had the grout repaired and sealed in all the bathrooms and in our shower. I am really happy with my experience with Grout Express. Stephen was awesome and professional. He was super responsive with his emails and sent me instructions prior to the service so I would know what was going to happen and what to do afterwards. The grout looks great and if any issues arise with the grout I know I’m covered with their guarantee. I’d definitely recommend The Grout Express and will be using them when I need their services in the future.

I just moved into a new home and the tile floors were in need of a major cleaning. I reached out to Grout Express to deep clean and a very knowledgeable gentleman showed up to provide a quote . I was given a reasonable price and quickly decided to move forward.

The gentleman gave me great advice on how to keep the floors clean, but also offered a much better solution that included making the grout look brand new. After a short demo, I knew this was the way to go.

These 13 year old floors look brand new now! I highly recommend using Grout Express. They are professional, reliable, and more importantly affordable. I will definitely use them again when the time comes.

Steve did an excellent job cleaning my tile floors. He was very truthful and knowledgeable about what we needed to get our floors restored and sealed. Would definitely recommend and will use again for any floor cleaning in the future.

Stephen showed up on time explained the process, told us how long it would take, was careful around out dogs and cat, floors look like brand new ---let us know that we need to keep water off the shower for 5 days and water off the master bath floor for 3 days. gave us advise on neutral cleaner. I will reach out next to see if he can help us on our wood floors. Very professional --- a model for service people everywhere. We offered him lunch and bottled water and he told us he came fully provisioned but thanks anyway. . Happy to pay him in cash.

I truly didn’t want to write this review, but at this point, it feels like my only option.

I reached out to Stephen at The Grout Express to resurface the travertine tile and redo the grout in my master bathroom. Our initial communication went smoothly, and I was quoted $1,100 for the job, scheduled to begin on May 29. In hindsight, Stephen did seem a bit pushy about securing a deposit, which should have been a red flag—but I went ahead and paid a $240 deposit via Zelle on May 24.

The evening before the scheduled job, I hadn’t heard anything, so I reached out to confirm the appointment. Stephen replied with an arrival time, but then messaged me the next morning at 7 AM saying he had Covid and wouldn’t be able to start. He offered a refund or the option to reschedule. I chose to receive a refund and asked to be contacted when he was feeling better to reschedule.

Unfortunately, it’s now June 5, and despite multiple follow-ups and repeated assurances, I still haven’t received my refund. I was told it would be returned by 3 PM today—again, nothing.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing. I urge anyone considering The Grout Express to be cautious. If a deposit is required, avoid using payment methods like Zelle that offer no protection. Use a credit card so you can dispute the charge if necessary. I trusted this business, and now I’m left chasing a refund for a job that never even began.

Steve, the owner, did a great job with the initial tile cleaning—credit where it’s due. Unfortunately, that’s where the professionalism ended.

After waiting the full recommended time to shower, the grout shrank immediately. He came back under his “warranty,” and the exact same thing happened again. From there, it was a full-on ghosting act. Here’s the list of 11 missed appointments, cancellations, and excuses:

April 25 (AM): Canceled – “Issue at son’s school”

April 25 (PM): No Show – “Still at school”

April 27: No Show – “Flat tire”

May 12: No Show – “Delivery running behind”

May 13: No Show – “I thought we said Wednesday”

May 19: Canceled – No reason

May 20: No Show – “Picking up epoxy”

May 23 (AM): No Show – Promised afternoon

May 24 (PM): No Show again

May 29: No Show – Technician was coming (Steve “hurt his back and is out for a month”)

May 30: No Show – Same “technician” who doesn’t exist, but this time Steve said he’d issue a refund

After promising that refund for over a month, blaming the delay on his phantom “office manager” and asking things like “Has it come through yet?”... he changed his story. He then claims he wants to “contract the work out” instead. When I declined, he responded with 'since you’re refusing, I’m not giving a refund.' This “contracting out” excuse was already tried once with the imaginary technician.

Now, in a last-ditch effort, he claims I have structural damage, which he and I both know I don’t have. I re-grouted the area myself after all this drama… and I’m a rookie! It looks and holds just fine.

Bottom line: tile cleaning was good, but the follow-through was a disaster. Steve makes promises, dodges accountability, and fabricates stories. If you're considering The Grout Express, know this: once he’s paid, you’re on your own.

Steve missed an entire room and several areas. Steve never came back to finish the job he was fully paid for. He said he was coming back everyday for a week and never did. He missed an entire bathroom and the places hard to reach like behind the commode wasn’t done. Truly unprofessional and regretful experience.

I called about an air-flow problem to the second floor of my home. I got great advice over the phone. A week later, I called again after seeing how gross the inside of my vents looked. The Mundae air duct cleaning crew came out two days later and on time! Three hours later, my ducts looked almost like new and air was finally flowing well to the bedrooms. My neighbor came over during their visit and three days later I saw the Mundae truck in her driveway. I went over to visit and they thanked me for the referral. I highly recommend using Mundae services.

Our office building had an unexpected water line burst over the weekend and caused 3 floors worth of damage. These guys came out fast, got to work, and did an excellent job. They had most of the water removed before the owner ever made it on property. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Had a great experience with the ! DJ and Elias were on time, professional, quick and efficient. I only got the general cleaning which was fast and good for my purposes but they have many additional services too and will consider getting deep cleaning soon.

I called Mundane and they came earlier than expected in the time slot. The staff were professional and friendly. They were quick and my carpet looks great. I will use their services again for sure! Thank you!

Carpet cleaning services provided in September 2018. The serviceman arrived within the the time frame given. He worked quickly, efficiently and did an overall good job of cleaning the carpet. The quote I was given via phone was honored. I would use these services again.

Mundae was amazing! We just bought a new sofa from Restoration Hardware and a friends cat urinated on it. I called them crying and they sent someone over right away. The smell of cat urine is so hard to get out, I did not have high hopes. They were here cleaning for about 15 mins and the sofa is like new! The smell is completely gone and I am SO thankful! Highly recommend!

I had a company come clean my ducts and they encountered some mold so they could t clean them cause of the mold. I called around few companies to ask questions after doing some research and did not feel comfortable how they answered my questions. I finally found the right company, I'm glad I took my time they were very professional, on time and very knowledgeable. The mold is gone and I finally can breath good air quality now. Thank you Mundae.

We had a slow leak in a closet than did some serious damage. Mario from Mundae did an awesome job. Nice guy, great communication, job well done(my mother-in-law who works in residential insurance agreed), and cost half of any other estimate I got. Thanks Mundae!

Mario and his team explained our options and gave us a price before he started on our wall to wall carpet and wool, oriental area rug. They were so professional and gave us a courtesy call to let us know before they came over and were on time. Afterward, the oriental rug looked like new (had stains and ground in light color dirt from someone's shoes before). They gave us a very quick, next day appointment and were very efficient. Thank you!

The cleaning team hasn't even arrived and I'm already regretting making this appointment. I was originally told my appointment was on a Monday. I adjusted my plans accordingly, but when they hadn't arrived by the time I was told they would and I called they said the original appointment was actually on Tuesday. This could have been an error on my part, but I don't think it was. Then, I was told the appointment was from 8-11a. Apparently what they meant was the arrival time was between 8 and 11, and of course my arrival time was to be nearer to 11 when I called. Seriously? I have better things to do than wait for 3 hours for the arrival and THEN have to add the time for the actual carpet cleaning. Regardless the quality of the job they do, I'm so frustrated from the hassle of getting them scheduled and to my house and the rearranging of my schedule to accommodate them I can guarantee I'll never use them again, as well as recommend others to steer clear.

UPDATE:
Upon completion of the job, I am upgrading my review. The actual carpet cleaners were very courteous and did well, though the high traffic areas looked badly and I was told there was nothing that could be done to fix that. They did the job very quickly, but then again I didn't have any real stains, just normal wear and tear. Teflon protection was (supposedly) added as well for free to offset the initial frustration I experienced. The pricing with my Groupon was better than I would have gotten elsewhere. They also offer a discount in exchange for you posting a review telling others of your satisfaction with their service. I will consider giving them another try, and won't discourage others from taking a chance with Mundae.

Mundae mold remedation services is a great company to work with. Their technicians were very courageous, professional and wanted to help in any way they could. I would recommend them to all my friends and family
