I have used this company for 5 years. I was very happy in the beginning. Then in 2017 they broke my windows by throwing rocks into my 3 floor to ceiling windows with their weed eater. After promising to pay through their insurance - it is now months later and they are referring me to the contractor they hired to get payment for the damaged windows. Yet, they advertise being fully insured.

Shocking how they treat a long term customer.

I had requested service and was looking for a one time service and I love their work so much I decided to switch to recurrent service. The crew was very careful with my yard and did a great job. I also requested leaf pick up and flowerbed and was really happy with the results and their prices are reasonable and cheaper than any other landscaping companies I called. My yard has never look so good. Thank you Fresh Lawn, looking forward to my next service!

I love Freah Lawn Service! They always do a great great job. Very friendly. Communicative. Cleaned the vines off my fence no prob. They do all kinds of extras if you need. I’ve been using fresh lawn services for a while now, and they never disappoint. The team is always punctual, respectful, and super efficient. They do an amazing job every time — my grass is always evenly cut, edges sharp, and the cleanup is spotless.

Today Rosa R. crew came to service my lawn and, in the interim, saw a loose dog in front of my house. Thinking the dog was mine, they rang the doorbell and were prepared to help me catch the dog that turned out to not be mine.

I’ve been with Fresh Lawn for 3 years now. They been good and dependable. They do good job.

We specifically requested that the lawn height to be cut once a week and Fresh Lawn has been consistently meeting our expectations after the first few cuts. They are doing a wonderful professional job!

Started using Fresh Lawn and have been pleased with the service! Starting with the customer service. Celeste helped me out through the whole process and was very patient and understanding. She is outstanding and the work everyone does here speaks for itself!

I used Fresh Lawn for years, but I think they're under new management. In September 2024, I had them weed my flower beds and they charged $45, which seemed fair. I've got a yard on the small side with six flower beds. In February 2025, I asked them to weed my yard again. They said the charge would be $80. I almost refused, but I've been really busy and said go ahead. The weeds were a little out of control both times, but it's actually easier to weed if you have more plant to hold onto.
Instead of weeding my flower beds, Alonzo used a weed whacker. The job description in Fresh Lawn's system says "hand pull" the weeds and that's what they did in September. I called to complain and they said to pull the weeds by hand, they would have to charge me $250. That's more than FIVE TIMES what they charged me four months ago. They said they would do a redo for no charge, but they would only hand pull for 1 hour. I asked if the hourly rate was $80, and the dispatcher said they didn't have an hourly rate and the charge depended on how long the job took. How is that not an hourly rate?
Alonzo did absolutely nothing but reported that he did the redo and closed the job. I called to complain again and cancel my service. They said they would send Alonzo back a third time. I told them that no way did I want Alonzo in my yard again. Alonzo also weed whacked my ferns and groundcover for no reason that I can think of when he did the original job. They said they would send a different crew to work for one hour, but they never came.

Edited after the owner replied:

A representative and then the owner both reached out to me by text to see what they could do to get me to take down my review. I looked back over the texts and no one, including the owner, ever offered to redo the service AND provide a refund. They offered either or. As I said in my original review, I asked them to send out a new crew to do the service properly (even if they would only work for an hour) and no one ever came.

The owner also implied that the scope of the job in February was different than the scope of the job in September. We had the same exact bare ground both times and both times we'd let the weeds grow for months before doing anything. I don't understand how the situation could possibly require five times the work.

I understand that negative reviews can negatively impact a person's business, and they should. I wrote the negative review because I think other people should be aware of the negative experiences that are possible when using this company. It doesn't matter that it doesn't happen all the time. The work Alonzo did and the treatment I received from the dispatcher is completely unacceptable.

The owner told me he made it right by talking to the responsible parties. If I owned a companies and I received this review, I would fire those employees. Period.

Fresh Lawn Mowing Service provides excellent lawn care service. You can book your service using their website or app and pay by credit card. The price is reasonable. They always come in the scheduled time and finish the work with good quality. I would recommend them to everyone who needs lawn care service in Houston.

Nothing but constant problems with this company. I was charged 71$ and they did not even show up. Manager or owner has reached out to me in the past and asked me to delete a negative review, but I don’t think that will be the case this time. How hard is it to mow a lawn on schedule every two weeks? I’m just so confused.

Every time I speak with Eunice, I realize Im so taken care of. Always recommend her! Its very hard to find her kind of dedication anywhere!

I am a new customer and was looking for a lawn service for mowing and edging my lawn. So glad I found this service, they do excellent work, and you can set up the days you want. They are flexible in changing the days that you want service.

Customer service called me after I wrote the review and they sent out the same guy the following day. Thank you for resolving my issue. Just note to anyone, if you want your grass cut short you must request it. Lessons were learned but I’m satisfied with the work

We had our first appointment scheduled for May 2. Didn’t show, I called on May third and they said they ran a bit behind but will be there. No worries I get it. They finally show on May 5th and this is what we are left with. I called customer service and I quote “ well people like there grass left long due to in burning, if I want it cut shorter I can request that for next time.” No one told me this when I called, this was our first experience with them. They didn’t even knock on the door to have us check, let alone I had a tip for them. So definitely not good and canceled them

Jesus did a Fabulous job on my Yard the other day, I was very impressed with the job nicely cut and Precise.I hope you can send him out the next time I get my yard done.
