Austin did a thorough analysis of my trees and recommended proper trimming and ground treatment. He was knowledgeable and explained everything so I understood the process.
I highly recommend him and Arbor True.

My oak tree had dropped several large branches over a couple years, so I called Arbor True to come evaluate the tree to see if it needed pruned, or had to be taken down. Their policy is not to charge for a 15 minute consultation, but charge $100 of it goes longer. I spoke with the arborist for about 10 minutes, at which point he wanted to take some measurements in order to write an estimate for removing the tree. He then spent 5-10 minutes preparing a proposal. I was then charged the $100 fee, even though the consultation was under their time limit.

I emailed the office, and they wrote back that I was correct and shouldn't have been charged, however, they never refunded the money!

Besides that, the arborist was wrong- he told me the tree would most likely be fine and didn't need removed, but within three days, it dropped a large branch on my roof. And to top it off, their estimate to remove the tree was very high, I received multiple bids to remove it ranging from several hundred to $1000 less.

Austin provided a thorough consultation for two water oaks on my property! He was extremely knowledgeable and addressed all my questions thoroughly. I am looking forward to working with the Arbor True team for my tree care needs!

Philip was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need! He provided us with resources to do my small job. He was friendly and professional and I really appreciated his help.

We've been working with ArborTrue for ~3 years and credit them with keeping an older, struggling tree that we love healthy and hanging in there. They do such professional work and we always feel like we get full value for time spent (check-ins/consults) with their arborists.

Our most recent consult was with Mario, who was particularly thorough, patient, and well-balanced in his recommendations. He listened to all our questions and took the time to make sure we really understood the near and longer-term priorities for our trees' care plan and could balance those against costs and other considerations for our home and family. I contacted ArborTrue to get an estimate to complete pruning of two of my oak trees, one of my neighbors, and a Chinese tallow in the backyard. In addition, I wanted four small trees removed in the front flower bed as they were too close to the foundation. Philip Monterubio came and took my information and turned it into a proposal, including notes to stage some of the removed limbs as firewood. Within a few days of me accepting the proposal, a crew came out and did all the trimming. However, the four small trees were cut instead of uprooted, and the firewood was chipped. I contacted Philip about this and he was very prompt with helping remedy the issue. Today, Osman came with two guys and completed the uprooting, provided firewood, as well as some additional pruning of the Chinese tallow which I felt could've been cleaned up better the first time.

Overall, great company to work with. They're efficient and communicate well, prices seem reasonable, and they care a lot about customer satisfaction. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there was some rework which made the process last longer than anticipated, but again it was all rectified.

ArborTrue has killed 19 out of 21, 15-year old mature windmill palm trees I have on my property. Said an arborist would come whereas it turns out they send unqualified person who scammed me into injections (and 2-year warranty never received) that are killing my palm trees ever since. ArborTrue office and Brad Phillips lied about person's credentials. They sent a 3rd party to inject the palms unsupervised by ArborTrue. Have no idea what they injected the trees with. Brad Phillips and his team showed complete deception, dishonesty, negligence towards my dying palm trees for a period of 10 months. Will sue!

ArborTrue trimmed my oak trees and palms and did a great job. I appreciated that Fabian reviewed his thoughts on the best way to trim them, and then during the trim, interacted with me to ensure we were in agreement on which limbs should be trimmed. That level of interaction was helpful and we are very pleased with the results.

Mario was very knowledgeable in evaluating my trees and what actions I need to do to maintain their health. He explain everything in a clear concise manner. Hilda was also very friendly and accommodating in setting up the appointment.

Mario, a certified arborist, came by first and assessed the work we wanted done. He was very professional and answered all our questions. Some of the work we wanted done was not going to be beneficial to our trees which was a real eye opener but Mario gave us great alternatives. The communications with this company is excellent. All estimates, appointment scheduling and crew arrivals are shared via text message or email. The crew contacted me during the allotted time slot showed up on time. They did a great job cutting a huge limb off a very old oak tree, cabled another tree to try to keep it from falling on our home, trimmed that same oak to take some of the weight off and deep root fertilized the two trees they worked on. They cleaned up after and even filled in some of the spots where the cut off pieces of the limb were dropped and left craters. We are pleased with the work they did and we thought their rates are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I was concerned about some symptoms my 2 Sylvester palm trees were having. Being near Galveston I was not sure that ArborTrue would come this far. The receptionist, Kerryn, was very helpful and was able to schedule an arborist to come within a few days. Mario Sakran, Arborist, came out and took his time looking the palms over and thoroughly explaining what he found. He was extremely helpful and told me exactly how to best care for the palms.

Arbor True used to be very good years ago. They sent a crew of 3 guys to my home today. The guys sat in my yard for a couple of hours. Then all of a sudden they jump up and start trimming only one side of my tree to the trunk. The tree looks as though it is about to fall over. It is quite clear that no one was in charge of this crew. It is also obvious that none of the three have ever been allowed to be head up a crew. Unfortunately, my yard has to pay the price for their incompetence.

Mario and Danny were such a terrific help with my landscaping issues today. They properly diagnosed the issues and sent a proposal for the needed work within hours of their visit. Danny really went above and beyond by immediately improving the issue that was causing my large established bushes to suffer. I can’t say enough good things about ArborTrue and would highly recommend them to everyone who values their landscaping! Their pricing is very reasonable for the professional service they provide.

Mario had previously done an assessment and treatment of several stressed trees earlier this year. With the change of season, he reached out to follow up on the progress and scheduled another visit. He arrived at the scheduled time and provided a detailed assessment of the current health of the trees (they are doing much better thanks to the guidance Mario and Brittany have provided over the years), including steps I can take to keep the trees healthy. I would highly recommend Mario or any of the other very knowledgeable staff at ArborTrue.

Mario was very good at explaining everything I should do to help my trees and ensure they are healthy. He did not have experience explicitly with key lime trees, but did have a lot of experience with the other trees in our yard. I Am proceeding with all of his recommended treatments for the trees. Hilda was helpful in setting the appointment up and also ensured the arborist would call a half hour before showing up. This helps a lot when they have windows of time that they are available.
