We just completed a massive backyard project and Octavian and his team did an incredible job! They were flexible when we had schedule issues with the landscape and pool teams. Hardworking, honest group with great product! We love our artificial turf!

We shopped around for artificial turf for our yard. We have a pool, so we had specific questions about drainage, and at the same time, wanted our yard to look clean and modern. We discussed the project with several landscapers, but Octavian was by far the best. He was knowledgable, friendly, and well priced for the high quality of work.

The work was done perfectly and on time by a professional team who all wore masks while they worked. We really appreciated that.

Since we had the artificial turf installed, there have been several heavy downpours in our area, and the drainage of the turf has been excellent.

Octavian and team were incredible! From the initial estimate to the final follow up, they were professional, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. When we built a gate around our pool, we thought we would have to put concrete but thankfully we found Number 1 Turf and changed our plan! The turf looks incredible - it’s so so so soft that it makes me not want to wear shoes in the backyard! Not only does it look super chic but it’s saved us so much work as real grass would have been blowing into the pool. I would HIGHLY recommend number 1 turf! Absolute best company to work with!

What an awesome experience… Octavian and Number One Turf did a really good job with my backyard. The crew was very polite and let me help layout the green just how I wanted it, then let me set the cup locations… very customizable which is a huge plus. Also - his cost was the lowest of 4 bids.

The Number One Turf crew of 4 arrived on time, were polite, took pride in their work, and gave us an outstanding front yard in one day.
We were so impressed, with the work that we’re having Octavian come back to quote us on fixing or replacing the inadequate job a previous company did in our back yard.

Number one turf is the best in the business Octavio and his crew are top notch . Trust me I work in the construction industry and it is hard to find reliable contractors that 1. Do what they say there going to do. 2. And will not charge extra here and there for every obstacle they run in too along the way . Octavio and team surpassed all my expectations and at a respectable/fair price . I highly recommend number one turf . They have turned my outdoor area in to a great place to make memories. Our experience has been amazing from start to finish. Octavian helped us meet all of our HOA requirements for turf install and was very patient with us throughout the approval process. The finished product was flawless and the crew left it as clean (or cleaner) than when they started. Dogs already very happy with the upgrade

Octavian and his crew did a fantastic job. The turf and putting green looks incredible. The crew is the best working crew I have ever witnessed. Incredible attention to detail and they truly care and take pride in their work. Cleaned up daily after themselves and were very professional. Highly recommend for your backyard transformation.

Best in Houston! We priced several companies inside the loop, and so glad we chose Octavian and his crew! They went above and beyond to fix the drainage issues we had from the previous owner’s terrible DIY project. Octavian thoroughly explained the process and made sure we were always happy with the progress along the way. The end result is a phenomenal job (partial yard before and afters pictured). We cannot be happier with our beautiful backyard!

I just left this location about 10 mins ago and the guest engagement that I just experienced was not good. I always have a friendly person when I come in and haven't been in for a while due to working a lot. It is my birthday month and I know a perk is to be able to use your birthday discount. So the woman at the register says that you have to have the correct phone number in order to use it and I did not have it because of change of numbers. Well, in customer service, I don't understand why it couldn't have just been honored because I even offered to show my ID. It seemed like she more so was getting frustrated with me instead of helping me. So I just gave her thr 3rd number and the rewards finally showed up. So then she asks me do I want to use my birthday discount. Well that's why we've been standing here the whole time. So why would you ask me that? I felt like it was more so of being condescending. So then I paid for my items and I have a huge billietiae and 2 smaller plants. I wasn't even offered a bag, or tray or anything. She just moved on to the next guest. I'm just standing there bagging my own items. I am an assistant store leader and I would never treat ANY of my guests that way. We believe in hospitality and I expect the same service when I go shopping. I will continue to shop here but that experience was not good. Employee number was 200129

Cornelius is a beautiful nursery and the employees are nice. That said, BEWARE of their Christmas trees. For the second year in a row, they sold us a dead Christmas tree. Even with their high prices, we decided to give them another shot this year because of their location. We will never go back again. It really does put a damper on Christmas when you realize your tree is dead. We should have known better when they said they could not give the tree a fresh base cut. When we got home and cut the base, it was bone dry (no sap, dead tree).

Everyone here was super gracious and patient with helping us pick out a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations. Sherri at the ribbon counter was so sweet and went out of her way to show us things all around the store and helped us bring our vision to life. I could tell she wanted to go above and beyond but was dragged down by Susan, the manager. I literally left because Susan made me feel like a burden. But anyway, Sherri was amazing! Hopefully some of her Christmas spirit rubs off on Susan.

Excellent variety as well as some trees that other nurseries don’t carry such as Japanese Maple trees. This place carries 3 species!

Good selection of plants and good staff. Came in here with my girlfriend's mom to buy her some flowering plants and ended up grabbing a couple of succulents for myself. The staff is very friendly and are interested in your needs more than trying to sell you stuff you don't need. Parking is abundant and the place itself is very clean.

They used to be so helpful and knowledgeable on the phone but this time when I called she had no clue what shrub i was talking about and asked somebody else and they said no but they another shrub but she said she couldn’t remember what name he said - then I asked if they had photenia and she said she didn’t know and I should just come in to look. Used to they’d offer other shrub suggestions etc - this time not interested in taking the time to help. With the prices they charge they should be more helpful and knowledgeable customer service via the phone.

Been searching for a venus fly trap and this place had it first time coming here and i will be back
