    Slow....

If you have something scheduled don't go...and when you do bring some patience with you.
Good folks running it, it is the container replacement speed that's kinda slow

Bring your driver's license and a current water bill to deposit trash or yard debris free of charge. Confirm the hours before going because they are not open 7 days a week.

Been open since 9 am. Yet no one can go in. No workers.. no phone answering... Typical city of Houston workers. Easy money.. fk the residents.

The portable cans in the orange lot of NRG Stadium are disgusting and un-usable. We arrived as soon as the gates opened at 8am, Sunday, Nov 5th and the cans look as if they havent been cleaned in weeks. There are 3 cans... one was covered in vomit, another was full of old feces and urine to the point you couldn’t stay in it because of the smell and the third was full of urine and feces. The latter of the 3 was a handicap unit. None of them had toilet paper and they NEVER have hand sanitizer in the dispensers. You cannot expect a handicap individual to sit on a toilet in that condition.

Have visited the transfer station several times. Never an unpleasant experience. Nice folks - I found them to be accommodating and helpful.

Went by yesterday to dispose of tree limbs, and it was full. They said they would be ready tomorrow. Went by this am and still full. They said they don't know when it will be ready. Try calling them and it keeps ringing. That's terrible.

I don't write many reviews but this place warrants one. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Things you need to know: don't block the road, if there is a line, then line up on the side of the road.
You can go four times a month, bring your current water bill and driver's license.
They will take solid waste, tree limbs, and demo'd materail from residential use, and probably more. They dont take old paint cans and what nots unless empty/dry and can be proved.
It is free if you're local and have water bill and driver license.
I hope this review was helpful, i know the people were. Please bring at least two people to unload the trash since it must be done by hand and there are limited spaces. They do not unload for you.
    Thanks all!

Usually helpful but arrived at 6:28 pm one day, sign says gate closes at 6:30. The dump closes at 7:00.

They had a man posted at the (open) gate, ready to push the button and close it on anybody that arrived too close to 6:30. Or maybe just checking to see how much stuff you would bring at the last minute.

The gate man saw me pull into the driveway and FRANTICALLY pushed the gate-close button. At 6:29 pm. And right in my face. While looking me in the eye.

The man at the gate knew what he had done so he motioned for me to come on in thru the exit gate. That was only because he knew there was another bulldog up on the ramp just waiting to scold me for being late and 'sneaking' in thru the exit gate. ..

The bulldog stated "I saw what you did, sorry can't help you. Plus you have too much stuff." I said your guy told me to come in thru the exit. He said 'I know but he was mistaken'. They refused to help me and I was told to leave and come back the next day.

And these are your tax dollars at work folks. Yes, all for the sake of the crew being able to quit work a few minutes early that day. *smdh*

The staff here are exceptionally nice and the facility is well organized and maintained. Would recommend to anybody in the area with waste disposal needs.

Often an unpleasant experience. Contractors comes to offload for free and results in random wait time or full containers so they just ask you to wait unspecified amount of time hoping you can unload the same day...

Clean facility ran by a great crew who follow the strict rules and guidelines to keep themselves and everyone safe. Long lines to be able to enter but if you time it right you can show up and go right in without wait.

They "usually" allow you to dump for free but they will charge you (or bribe you) 40$ for any random reason. It changes depending on who does the questions. My dashcam records on the inside as well.

It is currently 4:45 p.m on a Tuesday and they had the gates locked.

It's always some type of problem when you come to dump trash. Like today I came at 9:30am to drop off tree limbs. They told me the dumpster was full and I had to come back at 4:00 p.m. I showed back up at 4:00 p.m. and it's still no dumpster. If you're going to put things in the neighborhood they should be more accessible to use.

Should of been open at 9am. Waiting over a hour with the crew not knowing when they're going to let ppl in. No wonder people illegally dump throughout Houston. People don't have the time to guess whenever they're going to open whe they're supposed to be open.

Did know there was a free dump you can come twice a month with your DL. Sometimes a little wait but not much. You have to push out appliances yourself so bring help. Smooth sailing process and employees are knowledgeable.

Wish I could give this place a zero!! the employees there are so rude! We went a day before and the lady gave my husband a hard time. Said the taxes need to be the original copy blah blah..Clearly states his name matching his DL. She had the nerve to say anybody can print the receipt off the internet. What the heck, Don't we mostly pay on the internet! HIS ID STATES MATCHES HE PAID THE TAXES AND LIVES IN HARRIS COUNTY. We went the next day Gentleman didn't ask us for nothing .We went in with no ID, No nothing! He told some guy your sheet rock needs to be in a bag and I saw someone w a bigger piece and they didn't tell him anything. Thus isn't right how they treat us and we are the ones paying these services.
