I am so grateful for Central City Air. They have resolved all my air conditioning needs for at least 22 years. Customer Service is the best! Linda does an unbelievable job of keeping track of appointments & scheduling needs. Javier showed up on short notice in the rain this morning on short notice to address an operational issue.

Central City has managed our AC and HVAC system for a number of years and provide excellent service. Linda manages the scheduling with great efficiency and courtesy and Javier is an expert in managing the equipment and devices. Strongly recommend them.

I have used Central City Air for 5+ years. The technicians did a comprehensive evaluation of my a/c systems during my first visit because another company told me that I needed a new $10,000 system. They confirmed my suspicion that I was getting "done" and told me my systems could probably last at least a few more years. Both systems are 14+ yrs old but still running well with their help. The staff have been honest, ethical, and helpful ever since! I highly recommend them.

I personally have not used this company directly however I live near this business. Let me tell you that they're AWFUL neighbors. If I were you looking for a HVAC company pick one that has more courteous values. They employ people who don't care about those around them. If they don't care about their neighbors why would they care about your HVAC system.

They have an employee that drives recklessly every single morning down Thornton Rd. Not only do they speed down the narrow road but they purposefully down shift and hit the gas and let off, to make the car backfire. He then let's his car backfire 20-30 times ALL the way down the street. It sounds like multiple gun shots back to back. This is every single day at 8:05-8:15 am. It's gotten so bad that I can tell what time it is by when I hear his crappy car go bang. It is a DAILY thing. Without fail this person goes out of his way to be obnoxious every single morning like a child on his way to work.

When I say every single morning I truly mean it. It's been without fail every morning for over 6 months now. It wakes my baby up most days, it also is just a nuisance and I know my other neighbors have complained as well. Did I say it was every single morning?

I am a person who enjoys cars and even I think it is too much and is completely unnecessary. As I sit at my desk inside my own home, I can hear him turn on my street, down shift once or twice, hit the gas and then let off. Which causes the car to backfire uncontrollably. Imagine every morning you had a wake up call of a machine gun outside your door. This is basically what this business puts it's neighbors through.

I called the business and spoke with Linda, she was very nice. Linda listened to my complaint and apologized but the reckless driving and purposeful backfires by their employee needs to stop.

It is a black VW Golf GTI. The license plate number I won't share here but it has been shared with the police.

Please ensure your employees are not purposefully being a nuisance to those who neighbor your business.

I have been using Central City air for about 16 years. I had health issues from mold in a previous home and was initially disabled. Suzanne and Central City air did a lot of hand holding in the beginning. I trust them, they are knowledgeable, professional, and have cutting edge experience. They have been life savers!

Central City Air did a great job installing my new Daikin FIT heat pump and corresponding accessories. Very professional and timely. Would recommend to others.

I strongly recommend you look for a different HVAC provider. I've written maybe 2 reviews in my life, but felt like I needed to write this one because their reviews are so good, and my experience was so bad.

I hired them to perform an HVAC inspection on the home I'm buying. The general inspector had flagged some HVAC issues, so I wanted an HVAC company to inspect it and give me a quote so I knew what I was buying and could negotiate for repairs.

They charge a trip fee and a per-minute fee for inspections. That's fine if they're doing a good job, but what I got back after paying $315 for 1.5 hours of work was the exact same list of issues from my general inspection report, the only addition being that I should add a float switch. When I called to ask if there was any more detail or pictures, they said they would follow up with the tech. Two days later after I had to follow up again, I got back the same list, with pictures added and a few more notes about the same items from my original inspection report. I'm left wondering what the tech did for 1.5 hours. After following up a third time, they finally sent information from the inspection (age of the units, capacitor checks, pressure checks, etc.), but by then it was too late to negotiate anything, including the fact that the A/C unit was 10 years older than the seller claimed, which I could have used to negotiate potentially thousands of dollars.

They may be good at some things, because their other reviews are good, but customer service and communication are not among them. When time is of the essence and you need good, fast service, hire anyone but Central City Air.

I am always satisfied with the attention and service I get from Central City Air. I have used them for more than 30 years and they have installed all of my HVAC equipment.

03-09-26 Central City Air put in our our heating system in 1993 when we built our home. Jay followed through on everything that my husband wanted done to make sure that we could stay comfortable in our home without having outrageously high heating or air conditioning bills and it has been a charm. Central City Air comes out every 6 months roughly sometimes it's 7 months. Sometimes it's 5 months but they come out faithfully twice a year to check on my system to make sure that everything is working properly. When we we reach the magic 20-year Mark and had to replace the air conditioning system simply because of its age. They came out and installed our new system and my home suffered from a lightning strike and took out almost all my internal wiring. They came out after I got the electricity repaired. They came out and checked to make sure that everything in in central air system worked perfectly. These are the most reliable people I have ever had to deal with. Not only do they do great work, they're timely. They're responsible if they say they're going to be here at a certain day and time they are here. I always get a phone call because I'm so far out of their range. I mean they. They're in Houston and I'm in Conroe. I always get a call. They're on their way. Let you know. He's on his way now. He's coming out from the south end of Harris county but he will be there soon. This is the kind of service that everyone should provide if you need to put in a new system because your old one has totally expired. If you're building a new home and you want the best people to put in your air conditioning heating system, make sure you call Central City Air. They're well worth it.

I've only had excellent experiences with Central City Air. They are very professional, communicate very well, punctual, and reasonable, and Javier has been very patient and educational with me. I wish I knew a little more about A/C systems, but unfortunately, I know just enough to have a little false confidence. It is nice to have someone I can put full confidence in and who will spend the time explaining the details of the job and set the proper expectations for maintenance and future replacement.

We started using Central City Air about 4 years ago on a neighbor’s recommendation. They’re great! So much more attentive, effective, and personable than any of our prior HVAC services. We had an unusual hard-to-identify problem with a motherboard in one of our AC units two years ago and Central City stayed until they fully diagnosed and fixed the issue. Great team!

Central City Air does a great job on a/c and heating equipment. They are always very responsive and their technicians are professional and knowledgeable. We have been happy with all aspects of service from equipment check ups to total replacement. Wonderful company!

Linda, the Service Manager is friendly and competent in managing the scheduling and communication follow-up.
Javier, the service technician, is extremely competent, with attention to every detail in checking out my two heating systems. He communicates willingly about what he is doing and why. He is thorough and instills confidence with his friendly and professional manner.

We have used Central City for over 20 years for our heating/air conditioning as well as rental property. They are always prompt and do an excellent job. Everyone is very professional and knowledgeable.
