The whole company is thorough and professional. You get what you pay for. Derek was a great technician and installer. He diangoised the issue and did the handy work. He checked every box and was thorough. Selena was a great coordinator back in the office and let me know what was up the whole time and even got the part delivered ahead of schedule. They were great and got me up and running

Moe was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He tested my system and recommended a few changes to improve performance and prevent future issues.

I have determined through engaging several Trane/American Standard dealers that a state of the art variable speed/ zone system requires special expertise. It is the optimal system for comfort in terms of temperature and humidity if your dealer knows what it’s doing. Ramses, from Northwind AC convinced me that he intimately understands the complicated variables and parameters of setting up these AC systems to make them work not only the way you expected, but much better. Had some scheduling issues due to a clerical error and was not serviced when scheduled or communicated with when waiting for someone to come out.

The next day they called me, apologized and sent someone out. Mistakes happen. Cindy, Heather, and their tech Ramses are all pleasant to interact with.

Roberto is caring, professional and makes sure all your questions are answered. He is excellent at his job and will always request him to take care of my air conditioning needs

I stopped by my Mothers home on a Saturday to work on some projects and noticed the inside temperature was rather warm. Being that she lives in the country and about an hour from HOU, I was not expecting to find a HVAC company to come out and look at the unit. One of the companies I contacted was Northwinds. A technician returned my call and was on site within a two hour window. Technician Ramses quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired the unit. He noticed that after replacing the capacitor the compressor was not turning on. This is where I believe other companies would have tried to take me to the bank. He told me not to worry and that he would take a deeper look into what was going on. The compressor wasn’t bad, it was just overheated. Ramses and his apprentice completely repaired, cleaned, and inspected the unit for a fair price, talked me through everything he was doing and even educated me on the inner workings of the unit. I am so impressed by this company that I not only signed Mom up for a yearly maintenance contract, I too will be signing maintenance contract with them for my own home. It’s good to know that there are honest companies out there, even for companies this size.

I was extremely pleased at the prompt response time that Northwind provides, especially in the brutal summer heat when I’m sure plenty of A/C units are having issues. Jose, the service technician, was friendly and polite and explained what was going on with my unit and the options to either try and keep it going or replace due to age. They come highly recommended by the Michael Berry radio show, and I completely agree!
