Not only they have the best price, they went above and beyond to do the installation on a Sunday morning! The father & son team finished a condenser/coil replacement in 3 hours. I watched the whole job so I can vouch that they did a wonderful job. I plan on asking Mikeson to service my AC once a year from now on.

Tek-Aire was very professional and very efficient in fixing my A/C. I needed my coil replaced. They diagnosed the problem and did a fantastic job installing the new one. House is nice and cool! I would definitely recommend them if you are having an A/C problem.

Honest and AC repair, normally does not find themselves together in the same sentence. But Mikeson and Tek-Aire are exactly that!

They were able to diagnose an on going problem with my AC/heat unit. Instead of replacing a blower he was able to figure out that it was a separate issue that was a simple fix.

They come with many years of experience and they have seen many problems so they know how to fix it vs just replacing it.

These are my go to go guys when it comes to AC repair!

My parents and I used their services for few years now as both of our houses’ old AC’s from 10-15 years ago started to break down. They are just wonderful! Used other AC services before, but nobody had customer service like this company. Mike Jr and his crew are on time, very thorough and priced clearly and better than the others. Always follow up and making sure we have all the warranty info of products installed. Definitely would recommend to others.

It's OVER a HUNDRED degrees in Houston!  My retired parents' air conditioner no longer circulated cold air and Tek-Aire was highly recommended by my mom's friend.Mikeson came out after we agreed to the $150 service charge, which will go towards the repair cost.  After inspection, he and gave us a quote for a new unit costing $12,500.  My elderly parents wanted the existing unit fixed instead.  Mikeson reluctantly 'fixes' our A/C and charged $300.  The price doubled because this was a small repair job, he charges for service PLUS repair.  Again, he insisted we needed a new unit instead.

ONE WEEK LATER, our A/C stopped working completely.  We asked for him to come back out to look.  Mikeson said he will come out only if we replace the unit.  He cut us a deal, $9,000 instead of the original 12.5K he quoted us.  From the receipt, "All labor performed by Tek-Aire Services, Inc is warranted for 90 days or is otherwise indicated in writing."  Mikeson said he will not warranty his work or for the material.  No guarantee for his labor.  Since we aren't buying a new unit, he won't return.  He won't inspect his work.

My father got in touch with our regular A/C repair guy and they were able to stop by in half an hour.  We did not need a new unit.  The compressor was a little over a year old.  We learned that MikeSON replaced our capacitor with an undersized capacitor and wiring, forcing it to burn out.

Beware.  MikeSON's way of 'fixing' your A/C is to trick you into buying a new one.

Technicians were friendly, but spoke very little english.

Overall findings:
Very difficult dealing with this company, because they are attempting to run a service oriented business from one persons cell phone. Unable to leave messages. Didn't reply to texts. Don't answer the phone regularly.

Failed to follow instructuins, both phone requests and in person.

Technician wouldn't listen to our Condo Door Man on where to park.

I would be concerned if they had to service equipment in the future. Therefore, we declined to have them replace equipment.

Had some weak airflow in one room and they traced it back to a clogged line and cleared it fast. Huge difference afterward.

They found buildup in the return lines and cleared it out completely. Less dust around the house and air smells fresher.
