I'm a new home owner. I bought a groupon voucher to get the air ducts cleaned. Little did I know the airduct was covered in mold. I have two units. It would have cost me a lot to have two units cleaned out, but James was able to work with my budget and get the job done. He was very professional and funny too. Let us face it; the economy is tough these days, so we all have to be prudent with our hard-earned money. From time to time, with that wisdom, we will purchase a Groupon to save money. For instance, my hubby recently bought Groupon's featured online deal for air duct cleaning for our home. The stifling Houston heat and humidity have made our house feel like an oven.
So, we knew we needed our air ducts cleaned, and Indoor Air Specialists did a great job doing just that. They offer high-quality service at affordable prices. Their technician, James, thoroughly inspected our duct system and conducted himself professionally and friendly. He has a jovial spirit and even smiles as he does his job, which is a rarity nowadays. He is knowledgeable about home ventilation systems and passionate about his work, as evidenced by his enthusiasm while perspiring in the sweltering attic. I foresee a bright future for this young man and this company because of their dedication to providing great customer service. Thank God, we feel tranquil, and the air smells fresher. Last year, I purchased a Groupon deal mainly for my clogged dryer vent, but it ended up with a bigger issue, mold in the air ducts! James, the owner, was so patient with me to answer all my questions and work out a fair price for my duo air duct system. Then he and Chris provided a professional service. Eventually, my family was happy with a well functioning dryer and clean air. James even came back in a couple of days due to a false conclusion made by the customer service of the dryer. He didn't complain anything with no extra charge. He also reminded me to have them back in one year according to their warranty policy.

This year, I happened to recall this warranty and then found out that the receipt actually says two year warranty! Such a great deal! Two specialists, Chris and Lucius, came in on time and did a thorough cleaning. They even cleaned my dry vent, which is usually not covered by the warranty, and gave me more info regarding the vent and air ducts. Excellent customer support and services! I'm so glad I found Indoor Air Specialist, and would like to recommend it to all my friends.

James and Lance were great! We originally scheduled them for an air duct cleaning service since we just bought our home and thank goodness we did. During their inspection, they found mold in the air duct, it was so gross! They were able to come back later in the day when it was convenient for our schedule to do a deep cleaning. They made sure to move any furniture that was directly under any vents so they wouldn't get dirty. They cleaned every vent and duct and got rid of all that nasty stuff! They were professional and courteous while in our home which we really appreciated. Highly recommend them!

James and his assistant came to clean the air ducts in my house. He noticed that I had a mold problem. He suggested a cleaning process and added a UV light. The price was very fair and came with a nice guarantee and yearly follow-up. I am so happy that I found Indoor Air Specialists.

James and his team performed an excellent job and was very accommodating to our schedule. He answered all of our questions and walked us through what was completed. He is helpful and professional and we recommend him to all and we will be using him again.

We have been trying unsuccessfully for over two months for this company to call us back or respond in ANY way to our need for them to come and service the UV lights they installed a couple of years ago. When our AC routine check up was done in early March, it was recommended to have them come and service the lights as mold was again appearing in the vents. Since that time, all of our attempts to contact them have not been responded to at all.

I bought the Groupon they offer on a whim and thought I'd never really done an air duct cleaning before so why not! I was weary, trying out a new company as I've had bad experiences with AC companies and such charging me for unnecessary things I didn't need. The receptionist was extremely friendly and had great customer service skills and answered any questions I had when booking the appointment. They are incredibly busy so I didn't get an appointment till two weeks after I called so make sure you book early enough. They come in an in between time schedule, so we opted for 9am-10pm. They were right on schedule, extremely nice and got to work right away. James, the owner took pictures and showed me the mold buildup in my vent box and I knew it was true because of previous AC techs who have told me the same. He was able to give me a deal on cleaning the mold for both systems as he stated there wasn't a point in cleaning the ducts without getting rid of the mold first. They could have upselled me on a lot of things, Lord knows I need it, but James understood I was on a budget and told me in all honesty that I should be ok for the next 5 years with the low amount I paid the day of service and can opt for preventative things after the 5 years is up. Most companies would not say that and try to get more out of me day of service. They finished in less than an hr and showed me the after pics and it made me feel so much better about the air I was breathing because there was such a big difference. The house smells great after and I couldn't recommend this small business enough! Wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and kind. Great company in my experience!

First bad review I’ve ever left...

I didn’t notice any difference in air quality or “reduced dust” and they couldn’t even show me the results after the job was done.

My biggest issue is that they did a horrible job reinstalling the ducts back to the plenum box... unfortunately I didn’t know this until 8 months later when my A/C tech pointed out the major air leaks. Cost me much more than this “affordable” service. See photos
