Received a coupon in the mail for $188 air duct/dryer vent cleaning service. Sounds too good to be true right? I called the number on the coupon and explained my coupon to the sales rep to which the rep said “yes, the $188 is for 10 vents and it is $15 for each additional vent.” Me, “sounds great”. Her “Are you available Monday?” I book the service, the guys come over and give me a quote that starts at about $800. I tell them that clearly their rep didn’t explain to them I had a coupon. Well the coupon removes $100 from one line of service from the invoice. This is called “BAIT AND SWITCH” in the business world. Ultimately they quoted me at over $4k. I’ll give this team 4 stars for packing up and leaving with dignity when I told them to just stop and get out of my house. I paid for a minimum service that was around $800, still pretty expensive for the services I did receive. I don’t blame the working crew, I actually feel bad we all had to waste our time because of poor communication from the sales rep. However, if this is the tactic they use at managements direction, it needs to cease and I hope they learn from what happened today. I know I did.

I had an excellent experience with Steam Express, this month. David was on time for first appt. and explained problems with mold and what needed to be done to create better and safe air quality for my home. He was very kind and caring to make sure everything was completed to satisfaction.I had ducts, fireplace, dryer, carpet and tile cleaned. The vents were replaced and a UV light was installed, as well.All tech guys were very kind , efficient, and left all areas clean before they left.Pics were shared of their work.

This company was awesome! They came in like soldiers, very professional and had all the tools and equipment needed. They cleaned as they and were very understanding to my needs of bad allergies. Great pricing for all the air ducts I had cleaned and sanitized. The A/C unit was cleaned as well. For larger jobs they do offer financing. Thank guys for your help.
