Our air conditioning unit went out last summer when the temperatures were very high. Lakewood A/C came out and quickly diagnosed our problem. They explained in full detail our options and were very helpful in our selection of a new unit. Everything was completed within a 2 day period and we were back in a cool home with complete satisfaction. There were several follow-up phone calls from them to make sure that everything was working properly and that we were completely satisfied. We would highly recommend Lakewood A/C to our family and friends and we look forward to using them for any future needs that we may have.

Very sad to have to edit my previous 5 star review. We loved this company and we have used them for last 7 years, two different houses. Sadly, they're now under new management and just not the same company. We've had service 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Once for a repair, second for an inspection, then again for another service call - same issue as the first. The second repair was needed 6 days after the inspection. How was that missed? The 3rd time they came to the house they didn't even know why they were there - even though I explained it to the receptionist and the service manager.

Then we were told the part we needed was on backorder - and they couldn't give us any options other than to wait. In the middle of Aug - without an AC unit. Too bad for us.

So I called another company. They came out same day and completed the repair. They found TWO MORE issues that Lakewood AC missed - and taught my husband how to fix them without charging us.

When Lakewood called to tell me they finally found my part, and told me it would cost 3x what the new technician charged - I told him we were going with someone else. He basically yelled at me and said that it wouldn't work.

I don't think you'll stay in business treating customers like this - even during a pandemic. :(

Great prices, very reasonable for the work performed, don't try to upsell or constantly pressure for upgrade. Quick turnaround/availability and pleasant to deal with. Moving out of Lakewood and still plan to use them at new home.

Let's face it, most of the time you need a great A/C repair company, you need them fast, reliable and reasonably priced. I use Lakewood A/C personally and professionally for our Quick Quack Car Washes.

They have always come through with honest assessments and have saved me thousands of dollars in repairs or new installations. Thanks guys.

Lakewood AC helped me when I was I the final stages of selling my home. They did a diagnostic evaluation and then told me exactly what I needed to do right away and those areas that could wait for a few months. They came back to install parts over a 5 day period and kept me in the loop all the time. They were always on time and left my home without leaving any mess. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a professional and very customer-focused AC company

We have our home plus a small rental property and we love working with Lakewood AC. They take tremendous care of us and are always prompt in their responsiveness. The prices are very reasonable and the work is done very well. We trust them to go into our tenants home without anyone there and that alone means the world to us. I would recommend them to anyone and as long as Lakewood AC is in business they will be our exclusive AC service provider.

After dealing with 3 different AC companies and having no air for a month I contacted Lakewood AC and I thank God I did. Elaine took my call and within 2 hours (it only took this amount of time because I was at an appointment, they were ready to come out within the hour) Rod was at my home and to my surprise he was early and waiting for me (super awesome). He came in diagnosed the problem and went straight to the plan of getting my AC running. The part had to be order so he was not able to fix on the spot but let me know his crew would be out the next day (promise was kept). Rod then let me know he would have one of his guys come by to install a window unit for the night (I'm still in shock, never dealt with a company that does this).

My AC is now working and I'm ever so grateful to each and every person on the Lakewood AC team that took part in making it happen. The entire staff is professional, experienced and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone having AC troubles or need maintenance. They have restored my faith in good companies taking pride in their work.

Found these guys years ago when we needed to replace our upstairs unit. Haven't needed them again for many years, but when we recently had a minor issue, they sorted it out quickly and at a very fair price. Very pleased. No need to look around. Call these guys.

It was finally time to replace our old upstairs A/C and furnace system. We chose Lakewood A/C and they did an outstanding job. What we were most impressed with is how Rod, the owner of the company personally oversaw and directed the install. He mentioned to us that he views his Lakewood A/C installs as if he were installing it in his own home – that was huge for us and let us know we made the right choice and that it would be done right. The Lakewood A/C team Rod, JP, and Hector at our home were very neat and careful. Everything was left as clean as if they had never been. They did an excellent job and we are super pleased with our new Trane system!

I do not like rating businesses as poor, especially after initially having a good experience with them. However, JP, one of their techs that has been to my home a couple of times for a/c repair and regular maintenance, no call no showed me on October 30th. We confirmed with him that we would be home for him to come by that Thursday at 3pm. I took off work that day in hopes of having an underperforming a/c unit looked at for possible repair work. JP never showed, never called or texted. Till this day, November 18, 2025, I’ve yet to hear from him or from anyone else at Lakewood.
As a business owner myself, I do not like leaving negative reviews, but since I feel unappreciated as a customer, I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Arc mechanical was very rapid in their response time to help us with our broken air conditioner.
They were very kind and honest in the repairs needed. I felt like I was in very good hands and I definitely Will call them anytime I need air conditioning help. Staff are friendly and professional!!

This company is top notch. Two other A/C companies told us we needed a new unit. Jeff came and found that part needed to be replaced. The cost was minimal. He repaired it and told us we were good for another 10 years. That was 3 years ago and the a/c is still going strong. Highly recommend!!

Moderately priced and excellent work. They will trouble shoot and repair and not be pushy trying to force you into buying an entirely new unit.
