I have been using Lakewood A/C for several years and have always
been satisfied with the service. They make a diagnosis of the problem, correct it, and leave with a satisfied customer.

A technician from Lakewood A/C came out to my house for a spring A/C checkup. He was courteous and knowledgeable, showed up on time, and didn't quote me for a bunch of stuff I didn't need! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Since Lakewood AC operates out of my neighborhood, i thought they would be an easy and convenient option. So when I make an appointment and specifically ask these guys to show up at 10, as that would be my earliest convenience, why are they showing up over an hour early? Very frustrating and disrespectful to loyal customers.

They came out a year ago and won us over by their charm. But I'm sitting here now after spending $19k for 2 units and sweating in the middle of summer. We tried to get them to come back out earlier and finish the bad job they had performed. Huge gashes in the ducting for the sensors that never got sealed up. Nothing was to code outside, so we paid another $2k for that. They told us to stop calling or they would file a lawsuit against us. Please do not use this company. I beg you

On July 16, 2016 my kids were throwing me a surprise birthday party. They had 43 people invited and the party was going to be in my three car garage and house. The air conditioner in my garage wasn't cooling. I called Lakewood A/C at 10:30 AM the day of my party and Lakewood A/C had a tech over in one hour and repaired my unit.

Lakewood A/C exceeded my expectations. Our A/C went out on Saturday night and I called Lakewood first thing Sunday morning. They were able to come out on a Sunday and diagnosed and repaired our unit that day! In the middle of summer, this quick of a repair is necessary and they exceeded all expectations.

We just had the Lakewood techs out to check our system as fall creeps in. The techs were pleasant, answered any questions that we had. Lakewood installed our a/c system in 2017 and would again highly recommend them for installation, service and repair.

We've used Lakewood A/C Cooling and Heating for regular check ups and for all our a/c and heating needs. We find that everyone is very professional, experienced and are really experts in the business. We can count on them for their expert knowledge and immediate/timely attention to our concerns. We sleep well knowing we have these competent folks to depend on!

Referred Lakewood A/C to my son. Lakewood A/C put in a complete new system. Within a couple years system already required a $1200 repair even after warranty.

Update: My son told me the final repair was done by someone else for substantial less than the $1200.

Had them replace our residential HVAC and it was done very well. Great price on great products. Very professional as well. They have a very long drive to my home, but I am happy they are still able to service my HVAC unit. I will keep using and recommending their services while they will still service my area.

My husband and I just moved to the area and purchased an older home. We had been used to the modern efficiencies of home cooling in our newer homes. After searching for a local A/C company we found Lakewood A/C. We set an appointment with Rod to go over options to make the system more efficient. Rod suggested splitting the upstairs and downstairs into zones. This would require reworking the ductwork and some tweaking of the current system. We asked Rod for a quote which he gave and stuck to the numbers provided (rare for this time). To his credit Rod admitted he had never done this to an older home but did his research and continually checked in with us and sent his guys to fine tune the system. This fine tuning has resulting in numerous trips to the house without any additional fees. Time will tell if our investment will payoff but having the duck work redone allowing for proper distribution of air throughout the house has been wonderful. Rod, Eileen, Ali, and the crew have all been wonderful to work with.

I actually haven't used your service but I will in the future. I wanted to give a high rating because as I was walking my son to school this morning to cross a busy residential road, one of your employees used his work truck to slow down or stop traffic in both lanes so that we could safely cross. That takes a lot of integrity to do something like that. It shows the kind of quality employees/individuals that you have working there. I can see why your company had such a high rating. So thank you to your employee for simple but much appreciated gesture. Class act.

After having multiple "leading" AC companies out and being quoted thousands of dollars for stuff that would have turned out not to fix my problem, I called Lakewook A/C on the recommendation from a friend at work. They got Dennis out to my house and after a few minutes he located my actual problem and a few hours later had me up and running perfectly for a few hundred dollars. I was quoted $12k by one company for a bunch of stuff that was literally nowhere near my problem. Needless to say Dennis and Lakewood A/C have a new customer and I will be calling any time I need anything and recommending them to my family and friends any time they need anything.

I LOVE THESE GUYS! polite, respectful, honest, detailed in their explanations. Used them the first time by default and they didn't even charge me for the call as it was a very simple fix. Became a customer immediately. Try them, you too will love them! Thanks Lakewood A/C!!

Great service, competitive prices and friendly, knowledgeable staff! I used a different A/C & Heating service for years, but decided to get a 2nd opinion on replacing my A/C in Sept and was glad I did. Replaced it after 19+ years. The team that came to the house were hard workers and professional. I will work with Rod Bernal and his team in the future for all my A/C and heating needs and will recommend them to neighbors and coworkers. Great Job!

Saturday at 7 PM: I came home to a house that was getting hotter and hotter by the minute.
Lakewood A/C let me know that a technician would be at the house in 45 minutes.... 45 minutes later that technician was already working on that A/C unit for 15 minutes!
Unfortunately we needed parts to be ordered and they were not available on Sunday but the wonderful people at Lakewood A/C came back on that Father's Day Sunday and helped us out with some window air conditioning units to help keep us cool until the air conditioning was fixed.

I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quick response, professionalism, and excellence in service!

Lakewood A/C used to be one of the best AC service companies in the area (HP). I have been using their services for so many years. When Rod Bernal (the owner) sold his company to Andy, everything was 180 degrees changed. All the great reviews belong to Rod, not Andy!

That's why you still see Rod and the former employees in the company's gallery. Andy (big and tall) is not in any photos!

Andy tries very hard to make customers believe that he's an honest man, but actually he a great cheater - very dishonest! When your AC doesn't work, he comes and tells you that your coil in the attic is leaking without testing. That's so genious!

I highly recommend Rod and his team at Lakewood A/C. They have installed two Trane systems for us and we are delighted. We were impressed with the first job so we knew we would be happy to select them again for the second. Rod and his team do excellent quality work and we are very satisfied with both jobs. Very positive experience and we are so happy with our cool and comfortable home!

Lakewood A/C was very responsive when we called with a problem that we had been having for over a year with the system cycling in lieu of turning off. They replaced a board for $380 but that didn’t fix the problem. They came back out and determined that that the Nest thermostat was not working properly. Nest replaced the thermostat and Lakewood came back out to install it. They refunded the $380 less the time spent replacing the thermostat. This was extremely fair. We signed up for their maintenance and will absolutely use them again.

We recently had Lakewood AC look at our AC because it wasn't cooling correctly. Upon their evaluation it was determined that a new unit was needed (ours was over 20 years old). We cannot say enough nice things about Xavier and Nick that came out and did the work. The were both extremly hard working, and it was great knowing that we had such honest and trustworthy people in our home. We highly recommend Lakewood AC!!! They are extremely reasonable and don't charge you for things that you don't need. Best of all... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you guys!
