Sunny Service was awesome today in providing my annual maintenance, specifically because their tech Louis exceeded expectations.. arrived promptly and was HIGHLY informative, professional and did a great job communicating. Made me very comfortable in considering additional services and represented Sunny Service quite well

My heater went down on Saturday, beginning of the ice and snow storm this past weekend.
I called Sunny Service same day but no service trucks were running due to the storm and road conditions. They put me on their call list for Sunday in case the roads improved which they did not. Then on Monday I received a text from Sunny Services saying a technician was in route. Jesus Ortiz showed up couple hours later and was able to diagnose the problem and had the replacement part in his truck.
Had the heater working within 2 hours upon his arrival.
I think price was a little over price but considering the weather there weren’t many other options.
The replacement part came with 12 month warranty so that’s a positive in my opinion.

They were the best tradesmen (plumbers) we've ever worked with. My wife and I are both 73, and bought our first, and only, house in 1988. Have, over the years, had a reasonable number of tradesmen in for minor repairs and maintenance, and never had anyone so friendly and eager to do what we wanted, if it was still code. The repair was replacing all the sewer pipes under the house (our house is pier and beam so they could work under the house for some of the work). They also replaced a 75 foot sewer line from the house ( built in 1908, 117 years old) and tied it into the city sewer line. The had to do a fair amount of excavation, and filled in the trenches appropriately. Could not be happier. Will happily recommend them.

I was extremely pleased With the service I received. Israel And Johnny very professional and very knowledgeable. They worked very diligently and went over and above to get my attic ducts and vents cleaned. they took their time and did excellent clean up afterwards! Could not be happier. I highly recommend sunny service.

We had a new AC unit installed by Sunny Service and during the installation, one of their crew members stepped through our ceiling. The result? A large hole in our closet and visible damage in our master bathroom.

Accidents can happen — we understand that. But what’s unacceptable is the complete lack of follow-up. It’s now been over two weeks since the incident, and we haven’t received a single update, apology, or plan to fix the damage. We’ve reached out multiple times and are being completely ignored.

This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for a customer’s home is extremely disappointing. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

We’re sharing our experience here in hopes that someone at the company will finally take responsibility and do the right thing.

My technician, Abraham, came out really quickly, he was honest and gave me a lot of information, he also had a really great attitude. He was super professional and broke everything down clearly, super easy to talk to. I hope to get him again!

Casey is absolutely amazing, and I’m very satisfied with his service. He’s an honest man, unlike the other technicians who came to inspect our HVAC. The others didn’t even take the time to properly check the system—they immediately told my husband and me that we needed a full replacement and gave us an outrageous quote.

Thank God Casey came! He actually diagnosed the issue and assured us that we didn't need to replace the entire system. He explained everything clearly and saved us from spending a huge amount unnecessarily. He’s the only one who gave us an honest assessment, and we’re truly grateful for his integrity and professionalism. Highly recommended!

Chase provided exemplary customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor. He even took a few minutes to help me prepare for time without hot water and explained the process when I asked questions. It was my distinct pleasure to meet and work with him. Please double his salary! :-)

Chase, as usual was great! Also, another technician showed up. Chase quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem.The work was done within a very reasonable time frame and he was at my house within 90 minutes from making the appointment. This company is just a pleasure to do business with.

I knew it would be a long shot to get someone over here to fix the water coming out of my walls with the ice storm and roads were bad, I called one company that scheduled me and then rescheduled for 2 days later due to ice. I get it, but needed my water back on. Called Sunny Service and they were friendly and moved quick to send Daniel over here to assess and fix the issue same day, WHICH HE DID beautifully! He set up a water damage assessment to come by, also same day, so I could be aware of how much water is in my wall and can make an informed decision. Daniel did an amazing job, explaining what he saw and the why behind it, the steps he’s taking, and gave me the price before doing anything. I expected to pay a lot considering the weather but NOPE! I paid less than what I thought it’d be based on past experiences with other companies. That just tells me they weren’t trying to gouge me when I needed their help. I use Sunny for my AC servicing, now they’re my go to for plumbing!

I had a damper issue in a dual zone system. The technician was knowledgeable and determined the damper motor was not properly. He provided a quote a cost-effective repair solution that fixed the problem perfectly. He was efficient and cleaned up their work area completely. I liked to follow up paperwork and pictures via my email for my records.

Louis Garcia did an excellent job! He arrived on time and performed a full tune-up on my two AC units. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He finished the work in a timely manner and even gave me helpful advice along with reasonable quotes for a few recommended repairs. I would be happy to have Louis come back for our regular AC service.

I’m very impressed with Sunny Service. The service technician was great and very considerate. I had ordered air scrubber replacement cells for two units. Once the technician started to install the replacement cells, he informed me that one of the air scrubber was still working. He gave me the choice to leave the old air scrubber in or install the new one. I appreciate the honesty of the technician, because some companies would have not told me anything and install the new replacement cell.

Andrew inspected and replaced the pressure relief valve on my tankless hot water heater. He was very professional and thorough. I appreciated that he attempted to solve the problem without having to replace the valve, which would have saved me money, but it did not work. He is very personable and friendly. I will ask for Andrew in the future for all our plumbing needs.

The plumbing service that was provided by Chase and Ray was exceptional. Chase kept me informed of the progress and notified the city that there was also a leak on their city side of the meter. Thank you guys for your professionalism and a job well done.

With a new HVAC and water heater replacement order, I've seen several mistakes by overlooking certain details of the works. For water heater, I’ve paid for the disconnect specifically for it by city policy, but when I asked about it to the technicians during installation day, they told me I don’t need it. When I contacted an install management about it, a technician came out again to install it. Also, a salesman said I need an UV protective casing for the freon gas line next to my new heat pump outdoor, and again I asked a technician installing it and he said it’s fine without the case since the insulation covering the pipeline is UV protective; however, when a different technician arrive to fix my faulty board in my air handler (due to manufacturer’s fault), he said a metal UV protective casing is needed to be in place so he had to come out again another day to install it by my request.

Also, communication to the office was an issue all along. They told me later on that the company is going through merger between two companies and people handling my work going on vacation and everything, but before they explained it to me, I felt unanswered and not getting proper service. I was responsible to check everything was done right to get the appropriate work I paid for.

Lastly, I asked to a salesman for insulation replacement for the refrigerant line that’s going through my attic, since it’s really old and peeling away so I had to tape it in place couple years ago. The salesman said he will put in a work order to do so, and when the installers came and putting HVAC in place I asked the technicians if they can do it; However, he looked at the old insulation and said duct taped insulation would be just fine and didn’t replace it.

I gave 4/5 stars just because whenever I complained about my issues, technicians came out to fix my issues right away and the office understood my concerns.

We had to replace 2 AC units (2-ton and 3-ton, 2 furnaces, evaporator coils, heat exchanges, ductwork, etc. Knowing this was going to be big (and expensive) job, we ended up choosing Sunny Service through Home Depot.

Our sales rep Damien Douglas was outstanding. He educated us on all the essentials of our HVAC system and provided us with all of the pros and cons of either repairing or replacing each component. He presented us with numerous options and choices, ranging from lowest to highest cost, features and benefits of each, and available financing options and specials, all without any pressure to sell. In the end, we decided on a full replacement of our HVAC system for both upstairs and downstairs.

Within just a couple days, we had our installation scheduled. Our installer, Eloy Esparza, arrived with his crew on time, as scheduled. His team took the time to lay down covers to protect our floors and they meticulously installed our entire system in under 8 hours, end-to-end. They unboxed all of our purchased equipment to show that we were getting all brand new components (not used or refurbished) and cleaned everything up nice and tidy before leaving. They even walked us through how to use our new modern thermostats. Eloy and his team did a phenomenal job with the installation.

I would highly recommend Sunny Service for your HVAC replacement or repairs. It was worth every penny. Ask for Damien and Eloy. They were awesome!
