I had Legacy out to troubleshoot an issue I was having with my AC (in the Texas Summer heat!), they provided me an estimate with 3 options. It took me a couple of weeks, but I selected an option and they came out, made the repair - and even went above and beyond what we agreed on, in no time. I will certainly use them again and highly recommend. Eddie and his crew were amazing!

I phoned Eddie regarding an issue we were having with our Carrier air conditioning unit. He came out, diagnosed the issue and discussed options for fixing it. There was transparency in his pricing and we were given options to chose from. The fact that he got back to me within hours of my call was also a plus! Eddie Montalvo and Legacy Cooling LLC were absolutely fantastic! Our AC drain line (thanks to brilliant builders 😐) runs through the guest bathroom, connecting to the pipes thru the sink, toilet, and shower... About once a year, the line gets backed up and "activates" the condensate overflow switch, turning power off completely. The sink, toliet abd shower then start to grossly slow drain 🤢. I usually just flush the line with vinegar solution and a shop vac, but its nearly summer in Central Texas so figured we should also get the AC serviced. I contacted Legacy in the AM, expecting a Monday visit, but, Eddie was at our house at about 2pm same day! On a Saturday!! No emergency fee, no BS, he told us up front what the issues were and fixed them. He pointed out some safety issues (live wire tied to the top of the AC) a previous AC repair had done and fixed those while he was servicing. Look, our unit is going on 18yrs old, so yea, we know parts wear n tear, and we could probably use a new one. Eddie suggested a couple of items to replace (like the relay) and because the hubs keeps track of all services, we knew it was last replaced about 10yrs ago. Otherwise, Eddie never tried to sell us a bunch of extras we didn't need. He did the job he was tasked to do efficiently and beyond expectations, plus on a Saturday after hours, on Mother's Day weekend! Legacy has gained customers for life!! Thank you guys!!!

Very happy with the service I received from Legacy Cooling today. Had issues with A/C unit keeping the downstairs too cold. Eddie fixed it with a simple adjustment at the unit in the attic. Fox Service Co wanted $4000 to fix the same issue. Shame on Fox. I’m glad I called Legacy Cooling and getting an honest technician.

I would highly recommend Eddie for any HVAC needs. He's a solid, trustworthy guy who definitely knows his stuff. He came to my house super quick after my HVAC was leaking and didn't overcharge me. Legacy Cooling is who I will be calling from now on!

I used to be a builder once upon a time. And this is the only number I've called for about 6 years. Eddie has always been on time, honest, and never tried to upsell me. Pretty rare.

Eddie has been the absolute best to work with. His attention to detail and quality of work is unmatchable. Best AC company in the area by far.

I had been using a large well known commercial HVAC company for 6 years. My whole house humidifier was overflowing the tray (in the attic no less) after I just had it serviced. I contacted Ed at Legacy and he determined that the drains were 99% blocked. He flushed the drains and got my system back in excellent working order. Lesson learned. The “big” companies hire technicians without proper training. Legacy knows what to look for and more importantly how to fix the issue. Thanks Ed. Using you from now on.

A 12+ year old air conditioning unit had stopped working in the 2H of May and Eddie, founder/owner, of Legacy Cooling assessed the situation to determine that there was a short between the heat unit and the motor on the indoor unit. He provided three different cost options along with recommendations on which solution he would choose though he would support any choice.

Ultimately, due to the age of the AC, I chose to replace the entire AC unit. He arrived the next day to install...we ended up having problems with the initial installation due to a defective part from the manufacturer that was resolved by Eddie by bringing in another new AC unit. During this time, Eddie kept me apprised of the situation, was flexible and helpful as I worked through a couple of appointments that showed up at the house, and adjusted his schedule over the two days to ensure the job was completed.

I would highly recommend Eddie for his expertise, customer service and commitment to creating the best solution for the customer.

Eddie is a great guy and he shoots you straight. I really appreciate the honesty and options he provided. Hopefully it’s 15+ years until I need his services again, but I know who I’ll call.

He was patient, he listened, after viewing the attic upstairs he showed us a video, sat down with us and showed us all the circumstances, explained everything in detail, and then walk through our house to help us note other problems if you’re looking for a professional and polite And mannered Company then you need to call Eddie at Legacy cooling. He has over 20 years experience and it shows in every aspect. We will call no one else, but him from now on and you should do the same. It’s very hard to find someone who shows that he cares that your home is taken care of and mostly you we appreciate him and you also

When I called the phone number Eddie quickly returned my call. He showed up about 5 minutes after that. He quickly diagnosed the problem and worked on it. Then I called him back to tell him I was still having a problem. He returned after hours and worked some more. He did not charge anything additional. He resolved the problem and now the AC is working great! Excellent Customer Service!

Eddie is always attentive and is available at a moments notice! He has replaced one unit and has kept the other unit going with minimal costs until I can have it replaced (with Legacy). He is always appreciated!
